I tumbled upon this podcast, and I am so glad that I did! A fun and engaging, the episode about keeping the Sabbath was something that I really needed to hear. And not to mention you gave me a whole bunch of ideas for making soup?! Fun and engaging, I’ll be coming back to listen.

    Perfect for me
Jill Savage’s No More Perfect Podcast is perfect for me because she addresses the mess, less-than-perfect but normal stuff of life—which is often what hangs me up in my walk with Jesus. I find a great deal of assurance that I am not alone on this journey.

    Life Support
This podcast is truly spiritual life support for me. I know many of you believe these messages are for each of you, but it seems like they are almost all a perfect fit message directly from God straight to “my” heart. Thank you Mark and Jill for saying yes to God’s call to you both in marriage ministry. You are a treasure to my heart and soul!!!

    Very practical podcast
Jill (and often Mark) aren’t afraid to tackle the real stuff of life. This podcast reflects that. The interviews with others are interesting and relevant. The podcasts they do together on marriage topics are so real! You won’t regret the time you spend listening. The wisdom goes beyond their years and there is humor interjected along the way! Enjoy!

Give up chasing perfection as a wife and mom
So thankful God led Jill to start this podcast to encourage us to give up the idea of perfection as moms and wives. Loved her episode 72 on decision making (great timing at new year as we all strive for perfection) and also episode 69 on people pleasing with Karen Ehman. Highly recommend you tune in! Important conversation that will release you from the need to be perfect
As a mental health professional and owner of a large counseling center, we encounter kids as young as four all the way through adulthood who struggle with the perfection infection. Jill Savage is one of the best resources and experts I know on this topic. She gives us permission to walk in the grace God provides us, to embrace our humanity, and to be freed to take risks and truly embrace a life of freedom from the fear, worry, and negative thoughts that can result in anxiety and depression if left unchecked. So Needed to Hear This Message
I just wanted to thank you for this timely message about comparing ourselves with others. I am a teacher & for as long as I can remember, I’ve had trouble with perfectionism...not with my students, but with myself. It has robbed me of my joy & peace, often. But hearing the metaphor about the measuring cup just now, truly awakened me to a new revelation about who I am in Christ & how to shift my focus off of my flaws & back to “pouring” myself out for Him. Thank you, thank you for this simple, empowering message. I’ve just subscribed to your podcast & will be telling my friends. And yes, a teacher colleague told me about your podcast...so glad she did. Many blessings!!

I’m excited to learn and grow and make the most of this Empty Nester stage of life. I thank God for you and your honesty! It’s refreshing and much needed in this world of Social Media perfect images. God bless you and your ministry.
