    Informative and positive
This is one of my favorite podcasts. I appreciate the realness of Michelle and Toni, and also the positive messages. They are a wealth of knowledge and very generous with sharing. They have great guests on the podcasts for all things plant based. Great variety and I look forward to each new episode!

    Not What I Hoped
I listened to the June 15th episode about living with a partner who is not vegan hoping to hear some practical advice about how to sanely manage cooking for two different diets. Instead I got hear about how the guest speaker’s poor husband has to “shame eat” meat by leaving the house and eating alone. I feel terribly sorry for that husband and can’t imagine doing that to someone I love. The fact that the hosts thought this was acceptable was also disappointing, to say the least. I will not be listening to any other episodes.

    So informative!!
I’ve been vegan since 2006 and focused on a WFPB nutrition since 2011, I’ve been to numerous seminars, symposiums, conferences etc with many of the WFPB “giants” (Dr Barnard, Dr Esselstyn, Dr Campbell, Dr McDougall, etc) and your podcast episodes still deliver new information! I especially loved Dr Funk’s! Thank you!

    Outstanding podcast!!
Thank you so much for superb, practical information! Has added tools to my nutritional toolkit. Loved the info in transforming lawns to pollinator garden. Thanks!!

    Cozy podcast
I love this podcast! Being a vegan is hard in a harshly nonvegan world, but Toni and Michelle’s spirits lift you up and they both share such great values. They are sweethearts and have great guests on their podcasts! Love love love 💕

    Motivating for a Plant-Based Lifestyle
I just found this podcast a few months ago and have been binge listening ever since. I listen to the new episodes as they come out, then go back and pick up where I left off with the older ones. I LOVE this podcast. I’m not yet caught up all the way, but I have a lot to say! This is truly like having 2 vegan friends who discuss all things related to veganism. Consuming plant-based media helps keep me motivated as I have no vegan friends IRL. This podcast is truly evergreen and even the first episodes from years ago have info that can be used now. I love Toni. I love how she is always complimentary to Michelle, lifting her up and celebrating her. I agree with Michelle and would banish Uggs from existence. Toni - I don’t go on Nextdoor anymore either. It’s a snake pit. Since you asked in your 11/1 episode, I am a middle-aged woman with no kids (by choice), just trying to make healthy, yummy, whole food plant based meals for my husband and myself. Constructive feedback- please don’t piggyback on each other’s questions to guests. I’ve noticed multiple times where the guest doesn’t remember all that was asked and the questions go unanswered. And sometimes I really want to know those answers. Thank you for an amazing resource!

    Regarding parenthood
I wanted kids but waited too late and couldn’t have them. It breaks my heart to hear when someone who could just chooses not to. Children are not pollution. We are under the threat of under-population, thanks to low birth rates. Just makes my heart sad.

    Plant-based BFFs
Long time listener, not just for the lifestyle tidbits but because I enjoy listening to Toni and Michelle’s close friendship. The ladies wanted to know who their audience is in the latest episode. I’m a millennial latina, with 2 rescued senior mutts :- )

    Such a positive, wholesome podcast!
I love listening to Toni and Michelle because they spread so much positivity with their podcast. The guests are really interesting and I love the great variety of topics they cover. Michelle and Toni are always super positive, kind, and empathetic, which makes this such a joy to listen to! I keep sending episodes I loved to my friends and family hoping it will inspire them like like it inspired me! I’ve been vegan for many years, but this is a fantastic listen to vegans and non-vegans alike! My vegan husband and I even listen to episodes when we cook together sometimes. Can’t wait for more episodes.

    Inspiring
This has quickly become my favorite podcast! Lots of inspiring information on eating better and how to advocate better for animal rights. I have started eating a way healthier and incorporated way more whole foods due to this podcast! Great guest speakers and the hosts are very entertaining and great at interviewing their guests.

    Invaluable
This podcast has been such a wealth of information. As someone who was vegetarian in high school and went back to being a flexitarian for a long time, I’ve finally made the decision to bring my vegan journey. Thank you to Toni and Michelle for being constant unaware companions for the last few months. This pod saved my life. 💚

    So helpful!
This podcast shares real life situations and makes plant based eating so much easier to stick with. They break down things that seem difficult and remind the listener that it really is easier than we tell ourselves! Thank you!

I started listening to this podcast a week ago. I love it! I binge listen the podcast while I work or I’m in the car for a long period of time. This podcast keeps me motivated to stick to my plant based lifestyle 💚

    You Won’t Be Sorry!
I’m a 65 year old woman who has been plant based for 6-7 years. Over the past year I’ve become an “at home vegan!” I still remain a vegetarian when out and about and choices are often limited. I love this podcast! Really! Truly! Last week they had a “no waste” expert from Canada that opened my thinking. I follow these women on Instagram and take Toni’s daily newsletter. I’m committed! Now, you get popping! Please!! You won’t be sorry!!!
  • Babyb0310
    Love it!
I just found this podcast and am binging all the episodes. I became plant based last year and this podcast makes that way of eating much easier. I really appreciate their attention to diversity and inclusion.
  • Karmel13
    Grateful for you guys!!!
I love this show! You guys do such a great job covering a wide array of topics that always seem so interesting. You’ve inspired me in so many ways- from recipes to books to (currently) reorganizing my kitchen for maximum efficiency! Your show always grabs my attention and has evolved so much since it began. Keep it up!!!
  • Amy Katz
    Love the interviews!
This podcast is a must for anyone interested in eating more delicious plant-based foods. I get so many great ideas from both Toni and Michele, and from the people they interview.

Encouraging and fun podcast for a new vegan!
I became vegan recently after being vegetarian for 10+ years. This show encouraged that change and has kept me motivated and positive on this journey. I absolutely love the hosts, guests, and all the useful info I get from them!

    My new friends!
Michelle and Toni are the only good thing about my commute! I actually look forward to my drive knowing I get to listen to a new episode. I found this podcast in 2021 and have been loving it since. Michelle and Toni are so welcoming and friendly and warm. I love every guest they bring on. Their discussion topics are super diverse and relatable. I’ve been vegan for 9 years now and have never had a friend who was also vegan. The way they share their stories makes you feel like you’ve known them forever. It’s my dream to have a career in something plant-based and they make me feel like I can make my dream a reality. They’re truly an inspiration for their listeners.

    Great content with cool guests!
I’m very happy I found this show. They bring in some really interesting and unique guests and ask great questions. Vegans come from all backgrounds, and these hosts get it! They also bring new content frequently and consistently, which I very much appreciate. Thank you!

Okay, but VERY little food content
This podcast is just okay - the hosts are very natural and pleasant. But it ends up being just like every other wellness podcast instead of actually helping me with my main challenge, which is deciding what to feed my family
  • Yoli888
    Sharing this far and wide!
Wow! Your Mastering Diabetes episode blew my mind. I know so many people who are pre-diabetic, or have it full-blown, who could benefit from this information. Thank you for spreading the word!

I absolutely love this podcast. I’ve been vegan for three weeks now and Michelle and Toni have helped me navigate this new chapter of my life. They are so relatable… kind, beautiful, genuine human beings. The type of people everyone would love to surround themselves with.

    Favorite podcast
I’ve been listening on Spotify for awhile now but wanted to leave a review over here. Thank you ladies so much for supporting so many of us on our plant-based/ vegan journeys. I’ve listened to just about every episode and continue to re-listen anytime I’m needing support/ good feels about choosing this lifestyle. I feel a little less alone and always inspired by your message! Also, PBOAB and the Friendly Vegan Cookbook are used in my household every week! Thank you, Toni and Michelle!

    Love this podcast!
I’m always on the lookout for great plant-based podcasts and recently, a few months ago, came across the Plant-Powered People Podcast. I appreciate Toni’s and Michelle’s kind approach and passion for this lifestyle. And, I get great ideas! I am now the proud owner of reusable flatware I keep in a variety of places and have newly committed to pressure cooking to increase my homemade meal-making during the workweek. Thank you! #MaisyTheAirSwimmingCat

Vegan for 5 years and always learning. Toni and Michelle always inspire and inform with infectious enthusiasm! Instant Pot 101 was great - learned things I didn’t know; time to make soup! Thank you for the fun and the inspiration!

Toni and Michelle changed my life
In my early days transitioning into a vegan lifestyle a couple of years ago, I came across Plant-Based on a budget. That website, Toni’s meal plans and book changed the way I viewed vegan meals (it can be both delicious and affordable!) and ever since I started listening to this podcast, I have found myself inspired to do much more learning, sharing and creating empathy rather than divide in my approach to veganism. In a world so focused on what makes us different, I like how this podcast shows us that compassion for animals and other humans can go a long way in planting seeds of change. Wherever you are on your journey, you will find stories that can inspire you to see veganism with a different lens, and learn about so many people making a difference in small and big ways in their lives and communities. Thanks for being catalysts of positive energy and change in this world, Michelle and Toni! I have been fully vegan for nearly two years now, and your content inspires me to continue ahead with an open mind and open heart.

    The Best Podcast Ever!
I just binged seasons 1-3! I orginaly discovered Toni and Michelle through Instagram and their cookbook "The Friendly Vegan Cookbook". The warmth, openess and suppport from their book shines through in the podcast. They bring on an amazing variety of guests and ask great questions. I like that they cover all aspects of being vegan: diet, fashion, mental health, family, food, pets and more! The style of the podcast is like listing to a conversation between friends. Toni and Michelle are my role models and feel like the vegan big sisters I never had. Thank you for all you do and keep up the good work! I look forward to listening in real time for season 4!

You won’t be disappointed if you give the Plant Powered People Podcast a listen! I appreciate Toni & Michelle’s approach so very much. After each episode I’ve learned about products, recipes, ideas, and ways to approach compassionate plant based living. From the happy intro music (love it!) to the way they emphasize leading by example-this is my favorite podcast right now!

Accessible non diet culture plant-based information
I recently transitioned to a completely plant-based diet for ethical and environmental reasons. In addition, as a person who has a history of disordered eating, it’s so important to me that content not espouse diet culture ideas. Michelle and Toni have been life savers! They are committed to this lifestyle and promote it in a real and accessible way that is free of diet culture nonsense! Just found them a few weeks ago so I’m currently binging the pod...

    Thank you ladies!!!
You both are doing such a wonderful job informing the public of the ‘why’ behind not consuming animal products! Being vegan for 15 months now with my husband and our 2 toddlers and going through my first vegan pregnancy with our third baby on the way, I’m so thankful to have your resources in my ears, in my emails and as recipes! Thank you for all you are doing to spread the word of why being vegan is such a great option for our bodies, for animals and the planet!! Xo Amy

    So informative and encouraging!
I have been eating mostly plant based for a while now and this has been so helpful! Upbeat and fun, I can’t wait to listen to all the episodes. Definitely recommend.

    Poor representatives of vegan values
I used to enjoy this show. Recently Michelle posted some really insensitive things on Instagram about slavery and the Holocaust, essentially comparing them to eating meat. Of course I understand she had good intentions. But her inability (after days of largely sensitive comments) to learn from people and to apologize has really turned me off of this whole brand. She’s decided to dig in and declare that she’s Jewish (by marriage by the way.. and also that would never give you permission to make these gross comparisons or to speak for everyone). I’m really not about “canceling” people, but her inability to learn from people of color has made me feel like this is an influence i should do without in my life. And so until I see a change of heart from this group I won’t be listening or following :(

    So inclusive!
I’ve been on a slow but steady journey to become plant based and I may even be leaning toward veganism. This podcast has been such an inspiration to me and has made me both think about my choices more critically in a safe place. The hosts are so welcoming and I feel so at home here. I highly recommend this podcast to anyone who is interested in changing their food life in a more sustainable way, especially if they aren’t “perfect.”

I’ve been Vegan for 3 weeks!
January 4th I began my vegan journey, and I discovered this podcast after seeing Toni on the What the Health documentary on Netflix. I’ve been listening to the podcast for about a week. I’m a truck driver, and went back to the beginning and have been binge listening in the early morning hours. I’m on episode 18 right now. As a newbie to this lifestyle I’m appreciating all the vegucation!

Love this podcast!! It’s very helpful for learning all the ins and outs of what the vegan lifestyle is all about! Toni and Michelle make a great combo, and their voices are pleasant to listen to also☺️ i’ve listened to every episode now and I have learned so much, even though I have been vegan for over eight years! These ladies are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this topic and have a very down to earth approach to veganism that is very inviting and welcoming😇😇🌱

    Great Plant Based Podcast
Just started listening and I love this podcast. Toni and Michelle are great. The guests are interesting and I really liked the budgeting episode. Very practical advice on how to conquer becoming vegan both in the kitchen and dealing with friends and family.

    Such an inspiration!
This podcast is great for those merely interested in the vegan/plant-based lifestyle and long-time vegans such as myself (I have been vegan for 12 years). I have found such inspirational stories, as well as great tips and info, as I’ve been binging on several of the most recent episodes. Thank you so much!
  • This Might Get Uncomfortable
Like listening to good friends talk about vegan living!
Toni and Michelle pour so much heart into their work. They are great ambassadors and educators in the vegan movement. I love their voices literally and figuratively - they have a powerful message and they sound so sweet and comforting. My favorite epsiode thus far is about Michelle's biological father. It's a touching story with so much soul. I'm very grateful for these women and this show!
