This episode on fats came at a timely moment for me with my labs indicating for the first time in my life that my LDL and my total Cholesterol were elevated. Background music
As neurologists, I’m surprised you don’t know how distracting that light music is in the background of your podcasts. I cannot listen or absorb the information presented at all.

    Love the brain docs
I started following the docs about 2 years ago and absolutely loved the webinars I watched. Just found this podcast and am super excited to catch up! Already enjoyed episode one and the transition from 21 day habits to 66 day average new habits. I am in the way later camp so it makes me feel a little better.

    Great podcast-not too confusing
I was looking for a podcast on brains (i know, kinda weird and specific), and stumbled across this pod. I thought at first it could be confusing and long but it’s perfect length and easy to understand. I hope this podcast continues on.

    Learned many things
I just listened to this podcast and was very glad I did. Like so many others, I have been pulled by headlines that shout that something that I once thought was good now suddenly isn’t. It can get very confusing. I am a plant based eater and had questions about the amount of fruits grains and vegetables I eat. A lot was clarified for me and I’m glad to hear that I can start using erythritol and monk fruit sugar replacements again. I am a member of the Neuro Academy and appreciate the variety of concise science based information offered. Thank you!

Optimize your brain health and function
This podcast is a fantastic resource for learning about your brain and how to get the most out of it. With so much questionable information on the internet about the brain, it is great to hear from the leading experts in the field. Drs. Dean and Ayesha Sherzai explain how to care for and optimize this amazing organ. They invite great specialists to provide cutting-edge information to support you on your journey to better brain health. I find the conversations to be interesting and fun as they help their listeners achieve higher effectiveness. They provide a full transcript, so you can follow along with the audio in real time. This podcast is truly one of my favorites. I want to thank the doctors for making this knowledge readily available and easy to understand.

    EXCELLENT Presentation
The Sherzai's have a wonderful way of presenting relevant scientific information in an interesting and easy to understand manner. It is fact/scientific based according to the most updated research available at the time. I highly recommend listening to their podcasts. They are welcoming and never condescending or arrogant in their presentations, too!

    Solid research that’s helpful
We’re grateful to find a source for trustworthy research for our critically important brains. These Docs are careful to avoid making sweeping assumptions. So many “health experts” take information from one not-well-done study and use it to make money on a book or product. The Sherzai’s are one of the rare exceptions. This is good information for parents, too. How children’s brains are treated and nourished effects them for the short and long term.

    Your Brain On… Sherzai
Great info! Learning about lucid dreams helped explain how “changing the channel” on bad dreams may have been been a real thing. I also liked the non-vilification of sugar! Excuse me while I go get some chocolate. Looking forward to more shows!

    Your Brain On
I really enjoy listening to this new podcast! Drs Dean and Ayesha Sherzai are brilliant neuroscientists who back everything up by science regardless of the latest trends and the chatter on social media. Fascinating and highly informative
I’ve watched several masterclasses with the Doctors Sherzai and have started to read their books. This podcast is the perfect accompaniment to their books and any of the classes they are teaching. It’s full of fascinating tidbits about the brain and its workings that keep your interest level high. More importantly though they give the listener advice on how to keep your brain functioning at its best for life.

    Your Brain on Dreams
I truly enjoyed this episode. I could relate to the different types of dreams, such as after losing someone in death. Almost every time someone I was really close to died, I would have a very realistic dream about them, as if I was enjoying a day with them doing something we both enjoyed. It just seemed like they were saying goodbye. Although I knew that wasn’t true, it seemed to help me let go. Also the part about problem solving helped me understand why this works for me. When I keep trying to find a solution to a problem and there seems to not be an answer, I usually go to sleep still thinking about a possible solution. I wake up realizing the answer. So the phrase “Let me sleep on it.” is logical. Thank you, Earlene
