Rex n Lav reviewFit Women over 70Hi I just listened to your podcast with Dru Pirohot today. I liked it very much but some of it was over my head. I’m 73, fit, no medications, 21.9 BMI, workout regularly, excellent blood panel BUT No I haven’t ever had a heart scan for place , etc. Here’s my question… can you Plse address mitral valve prolapse in women my age. I’ve had it ever since 40 y/o. No issues but knowing both my parents had heart disease ( poor lifestyle…fried food, drinking, smoking ) I leap my health in check. Comments?

hemymax2Love the pcast67 yr old female. Tried statins and they were terrible for me. Developed severe tendon trigger fingers. My LDL is high and apo B is 113. Any natural supplements like Bergamot or Berberine that can bring down apoB. Had CAC 4 yrs ago and 0. Cardiologist wants follow up CAC.

sweynforkbeardAnti-vaxxerI used to listen to this podcast because I’m always looking for science-based information about the health benefits of a whole-foods, plant-based diet. Then Dr. Kahn revealed himself to be a believer in the anti-vax conspiracy theories of Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. That isn’t science, and it cost him his credibility with me.

Intelligent Informed ReaderToo PoliticalRight wing bias.
-
mjjronquilAntivaxx comment turned me offI used to like this podcast quite a bit until Dr. Kahn endorsed JFK jr and his thoroughly debunked antivaxx rhetoric. Now I’m not so sure about Dr. Kahn’s scientific integrity. Everything else he says has to be taken with a grain of salt.
-
Health RangerThe best!I love doctor Kahn’s vast knowledge of everything heart. I’d really love for him to cover any new therapies coming down the pike for how to lower LPa other than niacin. Why doesn’t big pharma get with the program. Also, I have A-fib & had two ablations that didn’t work. I’m now on Dofetilide to keep it under control but would like to get off the drug. Is there any type of new ablation or procedure that works? Thank you, Michelle

lauriedeCompassion for the animalsAlong with everything else I appreciate about this podcast, I love Dr. Kahn’s compassion for the animals.

1KevinMichael2Thorough, honest and up to dateI’ve recently become a patient of Dr Kahn and find the podcasts invaluable. It’s like having the opportunity to discuss your health with your doctor for several hours each month. I’m going to strongly suggest that my general practitioner start to listen. Thanks for investing your time and energy into this Dr Kahn!

Nate.TVNate DixonI gave you a 5 star and referred a lady from Columbus, Ohio. However, please don’t promote fish oil anymore … walnuts, avocados, chia seeds, flax seeds, black seeds, etc… it’s not only unhealthy to promote fish oil … it is very confusing for people who are going vegan! Thanks!!
-
Ivan-1105ADBest data coverage podcastI listen to A LOT of medical / longevity podcasts and just started listening to Dr Kahn. The topics covered coincide exactly with the topics I want to hear about.

couscous4Always Time for a P-Cast!Love this podcast! The installments are brief - just long enough to listen to while I walk my dog. Dr. Kahn shares important research that supports my plant-based lifestyle.
-
NadineHotflashAn Epigenetic Coach is Not a Genetic CounselorThis is misleading information on episode about genetic counseling. A genetic counselor must obtain a master’s degree in genetic counseling from an accredited program and also pass a rigorous certification exam.
-
RathvonBad MedicineI enjoyed listening to this podcast until the most recent episode. Dr Kahn is undermining confidence for those considering COVID vaccination. He carefully dances around it, but he is feeding the anti-Vax population. Also, using Joe Rohan as your test case? Seriously? You never examined him or have access to his health history. Unprofessional. Why does a heart doctor act like he is a certified immunologist? As a physician, this is unconscionable. Stop it and stick to your area of expertise.
-
LibgranExcellent InfoEvery episode is superb!

Dr. LaufmanThese short podcasts are truly outstanding! As an MD who’s not a cardiologist , I want to know about the subjects Dr. Kahn updates with the latest scientific evidence based studies. I especially like that he sorts the wheat from a veritable ocean of chaff and presents the best studies that are really worth calling to your attention. He does the important work of determining their limitations and he gives you his quite expert take. This is a very learned physician and you’ll get a lot of timely, practical information—in small, appetizing and really entertaining bites which Dr. Kahn offers in such a naturally appealing way. These podcasts are really great! This is my take on them after listening to them for a long time and feeling guilty for not posting a review. Alan Laufman, MD appealing way

magibmasSo so goodEver since I discovered Dr Kahn on IG I have been following his recommendations and listening to all his Podcasts. They are really good, he explains in detail why he suggests some supplements and what tests and studies are proved to work for certain conditions. I am on a mission to heal myself and he is part of my journey. He doesn’t know it but he goes for a walk with me and my dogs every night :) thank you Dr Kahn
-
lmpddsThanks for the clarity!I love Dr. Kahn’s knowledge of the research clearly explaining the pros and cons of each study, especially the one most recent podcast eggs and COVID. Such a depth of knowledge and helping us through how we should be thinking in this era of sometimes slanted research. I appreciate that he always prefers the natural approach first if that works well and pharmaceutical support if necessary. Love you Dr. Kahn !
-
cprice307Life saver, life changerDr. Kahn is an invaluable resource for all plant based dieters. He is clear and convincing and extremely educated in all things plant based. I whole heartedly endorse this podcast.
-
SelfAwareRobotMomWow...just wowI just listened to the episode on flexible spines = flexible arteries. Really helpful and interesting. I have Psoriatic Arthritis & HBP. I do the cat/cow poses. I have bone spurs in my spine + Familial Ligamentous Laxity. So I stretch but I need to be careful not to stretch too much (& knowing when to say when is hard) Are you familiar with the idea that subluxations of the spine can block the flow of dopamine, serotonin + more? That might be a good part two. My grandmother died in 1956 at age 66. From photos & family stories, we seem to share many medical issues. She died of atherosclerosis. I’m 55 & I don’t want the same outcome. Thank you again
-
Steve PohlitA Current FavoriteI have listened to most of Dr Kahn's podcasts for about 2 years. I am walking on the west coast of Florida beaches while he is at his standing desk most of the time. My business is in the health and wellness niche so I am aware that not all experts are in agreement. However Joel backs his messagess with the science and results of his practic.e I never took the time to figure out how to leave a rating and a review. After this topic today I made up my mind to do that so here I am. I loved this topic and in fact just ordered Prolon and thank you for the promotion code. I resonated with this information instantly so thank you again and great podcast
-
HautemommastuffEvidence based research that is easy to understand!Dr Khan takes the science-heavy research & consolidates it unto easily implemented lifestyle changes to improve cardiac health. Super empowering!
-
No Agenda HaciendaListen to this pea cast EVERY WEEKDr. Kahn does it every time. This plant-based doc is the most unbiased, realistic, public-health minded plant-based doc in the public sphere. As he constantly tries to engage and find common ground with oft-wrong contemporaries (in the interest of public welfare), he inevitably gets dragged into ludicrously nonsensical Twit-riol. Despite his many olive-leave extensions, he gets maligned as badly as anyone I’ve seen, but he DOES NOT CARE — he cares about truth and getting people off S.A.D. and you need to support him
-
doggy-mama2Dr. Kahn is the real deal!Love this podcast and his books - fact based, relevant and easy to follow - all focused on prevention/reversal of disease and giving people the knowledge to live long, high quality of life. So glad he is sharing his gift with the world.
-
Michael52493Dr. Kahn is awesome! This man uses the latest science to back up what he says. He’s a cardiologist who actually cares. Preventing CVD is something I don’t hear many docs talk about.

B. SheridanThe Man with the PlanDr. Khan doesn't mess around. He delievers his information in a direct and straightforward way. Since he's a cardiologist, of course, his topics center around the heart. You'll learn information to help keep your heart happy, healthy, and strong from what types of tests to get to what kind of food to eat.
-
HheartnySo straightforward and fact-based!Thank you Dr. Kahn! Your energy-level and all you do to educate us is so appreciated! Keep debunking the popular media when it's off-base and helping the layperson understand the research!
-
EmckainPossibly saved my lifeDr. Kahn suggested getting a CT calcium scan in an episode. I had to almost force my doc to write a prescription. The results were not great and they discovered an aortic aneurysms. I am a healthy, active person and would not have taken this test. Thanks Dr. Kahn!
-
Homeschooling NurseConsistently Science-Backed and Prevention FocusedDr. Kahn is bringing to the public SUCH important information! He could have made money putting in stents and writing prescriptions for statins but, instead, he’s trying to keep us healthy. Thank you! Heart disease is an epidemic!
