I knew there was a reason I’ve been lugging hundreds of pounds of vinyl all over the country for decades! Finally this GenXer has a retirement plan! Who needs a pension when you’ve got J.D., Steve, Hunter, and Dave at the Billion Dollar Record Club? Okay, even if this cult for financial success through records doesn’t enable me to buy a huge yacht I’ll probably still listen. Even with no financial incentive I bask in the reflected glow of J.D., Steve, Hunter, and Dave’s friendships. I absorb their teachings on all music related subjects. These guys know how to find value out of anything

The guys have a chemistry that can only be achieved through many years of friendship. This is a definitely worthy follow up to Beyond Yacht Rock (though be sure to listen to that podcast if you haven’t already). I love how the canon/vernacular of the old pod has carried over so naturally here. Can’t wait to see where the Yacht Rock cinematic universe takes us next! Buy buy buy

It all started with a website that coined a genre and a craze these Michiganders should’ve profited from (and less talented people did profit from) but never did because you can’t put a price on authenticity. Listen to Beyond Yacht Rock, Yacht or Nyacht, and Billion Dollar Record Club. These four have been wonderful companions, and I’m forever thankful. And I’m a woman! We’re out there, boyz!

I’ve listened to these goofballs talk about yacht rock and nyacht rock and power carols and cried for like 4 hours after JD’s lovely tribute to his late wife on past podcasts. Now it’s time to hear about records that are gonna make me a billionaire! May I suggest the amazingly researched Dayton Family album if you’re a fan of white guys talking about gangster rap. It’s GÜD!

After trying to tell someone to listen to the Billion Dollar Record Club podcast, ironically, I was chained to a radiator and had to hack through my left arm saw style, to write this 5Star review. I certainly went above and beyond yacht rock to review this show!!!! Would love to write more, but I need to cauterize the wound… 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

-Beyond Yacht Rock -Yacht or Nyacht -Billion Dollar Record Club Listen to them all! These guys are great. Listening to them is like hanging with your buds, without the stinky farts.

I cashed in my 401K, drained my savings account, and sold my apartment. I’m currently living beneath the Riverside Drive viaduct with all of my earthly belongings in a shopping cart but when these records start appreciating…man oh man!

The guys know their music and are sooooo willing to share their knowledge and opinions on obscure albums in a way that can be extrapolated to a much wider appreciation. Along the way, amazing tips are given on how to become rich while adding to one’s collection of albums. It is a wonderful listen for their companionship and wit, and aforementioned love an knowledge of music. There are no bad episodes, and many great ones.

Best podcast maybe ever. If i could build a statue befitting the honor of Dave I would, he is the funniest human alive, probably.

Always a fun listen, I’ve been a loyal listener since the Beyond Yacht Rock Podcast. Great chemistry between the guys, very funny and informative. I learn about music I otherwise never would have! Plus, they’ve made me a billionaire several times over :)

I could happily listen to the guys talk and joke about anything and I am thrilled to have this new show from them. That said, I believe the show could be better if they selected albums they actually like. Part of the enjoyment of Beyond Yachtrock was discovering music or learning about artists I already know. That element is lost with the format of this new show.

This is one for headphones, imo, because it’s easier to hear the music they’re talking about in the background. For whatever reason I don’t have that issue with BYR and YoN. Anyway, I’m always thrilled for a new episode. These guys still make me for real LOL and I love the uncensored humor. My favorite episode so far was the Fabio compilation. I had to listen to it twice because I laughed over so much of it. Please keep it coming! They said this podcast doesn’t get as much love as the other one but I’m telling you it’s great.

Could not wait for the Beyond Yacht Rock guys to come back…after listening to the first episode, I could have waited a little longer. Concept is awful, the banter was horrific. Pull the plug on this and start over.
