Life can be so challenging sometimes — we each understand this all too well. It’s not only the big things that seem out of our control, but it's also the little things we face each day. We forget our keys. A friend cancels on us. Our bank card gets declined. We wake up anxious. Negative thoughts fill our mind. It doesn’t take much to leave us feeling hopeless, confused, exhausted or stressed. We wonder what God has to say about what we’re experiencing, but sometimes just getting through the next few hours is hard enough. That’s why Proverbs 31 Ministries created the Encouragement For Today Podcast — a collection of 50 devotions to help you start your day with a biblical perspective you can carry with you no matter what lies ahead.

Annoyed over surveys

Honest but hoping it’s helpful

I love and am encouraged by P31 content. In this case, however, the narrator is a significant distraction for me. The voice sometimes sounds like a computer voice and (can’t believe I’m saying this) is sometimes annoyingly perky. It just doesn’t feel authentic and I know that is absolutely not the case. With such rich content I just think it’s so important to get the tone right of the person delivering the content. It just doesn’t feel relatable. I hope my review is received as constructive as I’m so grateful for your ministry. Updated months later: I have to unfollow due to the narration. Yikes. Love your ministry but that’s just roughhhh. Sounds fake. I’m sorry

Great quick devo!

I have listened to these & love how quick & simple they are but filled with so much truth. I’ll listen to one while I’m out running a quick errand or grabbing coffee. It’s a great way to hear about Jesus if you have a few mins!

A great way to listen to devotionals

It's a great way to listen to devotionals provided by Proverbs 31. Sometimes I want to listen to Christian type podcasts when doing my Bible studying and this is highly recommended.

Love Proverbs 31 devotions

I have always loved proverbs 31 ministries devotions but struggle to get myself together to want to read and be able to pay attention first thing in the morning. I love being able to listen to these devotions. I hope we will get to hear more on a daily basis rather than just once a week.

I’m so grateful this podcast is available. I often listened to the devotions a couple of years ago when they were included with the daily encouragement emails. So happy to have the opportunity to listen again. What a blessing! At the kitchen table, in my car, or on a walk, you definitely are meeting us right where we are.

The perfect start to my day!

The Encouragement for Today Podcast is my favorite way to start my day! I can listen while I’m getting ready for work or during my commute. Each episode is 5-7 minutes long and is the perfect bite-sized moment with God to prepare my heart for whatever I’m about to face that day. The devotions are from real women who experience similar struggles as me, and they always point to God’s Word for encouragement and solid Scriptural truth. Highly recommend!
