1 star because of unnecessary political views
I have been listening to this podcast for a while and while I accept the author and I may not share the same political beliefs, the past few episodes ever since the 2024 election have just gone straight into anti-Trump tirades. I understand the author doesn’t like Trump. I get it. I don’t need to hear time and time again how ignorant anyone is who voted for the guy. Calling oneself compassionate and tolerant and at the same time just going on and on about how anyone not sharing the same views as the author is basically the equivalent of a fascist is completely unnecessary in a podcast meant to teach the dharma and Buddhist principles. This is just unfortunate because such tirades have no place in a dharma talk. Or if the author really wants to speak equally on all systems of oppression and inequality around the world, then talk about how socialist and communist ideologies have been just as damaging. Taking the moral high ground from the soap box while having 0 experience living under oppressive regimes to me is the pure definition of ignorance.

Where did all the episodes from before Noah was accused of sexual misconduct go? Those were my favorites.

    Great talks.
I can't wait to listen to these. I wonder though. What happened to all the previous episodes? There was stuff from 2010. Now it's different.
