I want to learn about this team, I live in Utah so I really want to cheer for them but I will absolutely not buy any merch nor will I say the team name as the “hockey club “ I will say utah and that is it until they wake up and change the name and give us a mascot!!

April 2025 update- I am updating my review after listening to the show this year. You both have done a great job representing UHC, the fans, and everything about it. Keep up the great work! Aug 2024 Hello All. I have been an avid listener to Locked On Penguins for awhile. I was very excited being from Utah to get a real hockey club in town. One thing that I have found missing at times from your podcast is a serious lack of context for everything Utah. The NHL content is great so far. Need more Utah context. Granted, the NHL might be new to fans, but the people of Utah are very familiar with good rivalries and have plenty of reasons to dislike other cities teams. For example, Chicago could easily be a good team to hate considering all the anger about the Jazz losing to the Bulls in a couple NBA finals awhile back. And they are the Blackhawks. What’s not to hate? Sometimes it feels like you were dropped into a Utah market from Phoenix and haven’t developed a feel for what Utah is all about yet. Otherwise I look forward to hearing all the NHL Utah content going forward.

I guess it’s the bet they can offer at this point. Not a lot of stats or behind the scenes. Maybe better in year 2.

I’m a Bruins fan wanting to learn more about the new team and in the episode I listened to. Felt like they were talking to someone that’s never heard of hockey. We know who the great 8 is and we knew this team wasn’t going to win the whole thing. Utah hockey club is new to Utah. Utah isn’t new to hockey.

Love the pod, Rob provides great insight and I love that it’s daily, I look forward to listening to what Rob has to say and the crossovers are great as well. I hope Rob stays as the host for the entirety of the podcast and I can’t wait to watch the locked on network grow!

I love getting to hear about the yotes on a daily basis. Typically don’t get to hear much said nationally and the local radio rare add much more. It’s nice to hear someone who knows the sport and this team give a good opinion and news.
