Big 12 or Baylor?

These were enjoyable early on whenever they had representatives from around the big 12. Somehow it ended up switching to only Baylor guys on some podcasts and the quality went way down.

Big12 Squad the BEST!

I like Drakes takes, I think he strikes a good balance of being truthful and blunt about stuff, but also passionate. The Big 12 Squad show each week with everyone there though has easily become my favorite podcast show of all time! If you’re a big 12 fan, and you understand big 12 dynamics at least somewhat, the squad show is pure gold. Brightens my day each week when that episode comes out. So freakin hilarious! Never ever get rid of the squad show.

Drake is terrible. 3.6 stars. Tells you all you need to know

Not great at all. Not sure why Locked On has this one honestly. Not sure who the host is, but certainly full of himself and full of hubris and stupidity. Doesn’t have a very good take in his body. Very stale and reminds me of a 1990s Jim Rome wanna be. Try to be yourself and not someone else.

Stop the intramural comparisons

Appreciate the unbiased commentary on the Big 12. I just wish the host would stop making comments about when he played intramural football. It doesn’t relate at all! And it makes dilutes your credibility.

As bad as Locked on warriors

Just another talker. “Locked on…” is so hot or miss. Recently started listening and already stopped. Reminds me of Cyrus from locked on warriors; un-apologetically stating factually incorrect statements regularly like they are facts. No wonder the rating is terrible… guys get better people for this

Funny and Knows Ball

Listen to any of Drake’s solo episodes and you’ll see for yourself. He takes a “stats don’t lie” stance on his predictions and pre-game analyses but doesn’t forget to make you laugh.

Look if you are one of the teams he decides to pander to that episode and you like that stuff you found the right podcast. If you want football analysis and thoughtful insight look elsewhere.

The host is so unprofessional, doesn’t have accurate/updated info, and has one-sided, biased opinions that shouldn’t be the center of the podcast. Not a great listen.

Hey listening to your review of BYU and Utah and am laughing. When Utah came to the big 12 and all they could do was bash the big 12 the were goin to dominate the league it was so bad when I dropped out of the Big 12 page I told them wait till the end to pound your chest. I love this to see haw bad they play they did do better tonight but really the game was stolen I’ve learn patience being a WV fan been to all there big bowl games win lose or draw will always be a fan keep up the good work even though I think your a homer but so am I lol 👍

Easy to listen to but CFB host is TERRIBLE

This guy is great!!! I love listening to Drake because he is one of the few that actually understands and knows what he’s talking about. You may ask, “Why the 1 star?” Because he decides to have the Locked On College Football host on his podcast, who is the worst podcast host, bar none. He aired a Big 12 Squad episode today with him involved and I immediately stopped the podcast and changed my review. I’m done listening. Listen to Heartland College Sports instead!

Love drake and the pod. As others have said, don’t always agree with him, but he knows his stuff and fun to see him grow into this role. Don’t believe the low scored reviews—Drake is legit, fun, and does a great job. He will have a successful career in sports media.

They might as well rename this pod. Honestly, this is most of what they talk about and their takes are wildly baseless. If you’re looking for on field sports talk, look elsewhere.

This show’s host, Drake, brings the energy! I love listening to him every morning! He gets me pumped up for the BIG12 and all the schools in it and he knows his stuff! Keep it going strong Drake and GO UTES!! That’s right, this UTES fan loves being in the BIG12 and this show brings an element to the game that IS college football that we never sniffed as a member of the WAC, Mountain West, and PAC12! Can’t wait to hear this show cover the UTES, UCF, OKSTATE, KSTATE and the rest of the BIG12 each week and into the CFP! Locked On BIG12 is awesome!

Disgrace to Locked On

I love David Locke, I believe he does a great job picking his hosts. But good lord, this Drake guy is unbearably unprofessional. Content? Awful. Just copy+pasting the same “expansion themed” episode over and over again. The man has spoken more about “potential addition” rosters, than Arizona and Arizona state combined. Additionally, the blatant bias is unbelievable. The hate being shown towards AZ schools, Colorado, and Utah is sad to see. The conference podcast host, should root for the conference. Not tear it down. Hopefully David catches on, because this is giving the entire network a bad look. There needs to be a change.

Bias is not wild

To person that wrote bias is wild: just because utah is ranked higher then byu in the preseason poll does not mean utahs market is better then byus. Just remember that utah has not beaten byu in 5 years and that you are coming from the pac 12 where only 15% of p-12 fans actually filled up the stadiums

Bias is wild

BYU’s value on this podcast is very inflated. They assume ever Mormon worldwide is a BYU fan. Fun fact, a TON of Mormons are Utah fans and despise BYU. Sorry to break it to you. In addition most Mormons in the states and around the world don’t care about sports and or BYU. Their market share isn’t as great as you think it is. I know BIG 12 fans hate Utah but let’s not pretend like BYU dominates interest in the state or the country.

Nice show, good guests. Drake always has great insight and a diversity of opinion. Big 12 getting a winner with Arizona. Go Cats, Bear Down. Remember that, it will come up a lot in the coming years.

I want to love this show.

But I don’t. Big 12 content is spotty, heavily tilted toward West Texas schools, and rounded out by sports fantasy editorials as told by a 23 year old Baylor graduate. This doesn’t stop me from listening, though. If you listen strictly for entertainment value, it’s not bad. Especially for Baylor fans

Bottom 10 ESPN. Follow the show

Good show and good info. However, ESPN Bottom 10 is hilarious and well written. Obviously the host doesn’t listen to it. Went on and on about OU in the 5 slot. The number 5 slot is always reserved for a team that is good but blew it or other. Do more than just pull it up once. Again it’s really funny stuff. Love seeing who gets the 5 slot next.

I used to subscribe to this podcast, but once the new guy took over it turned into the equivalent of listening to that idiot at work who thinks he knows what he is talking about, but is an obvious idiot. His opinions are not well reasoned. He says the most hyperbolic things. Not worth listening.

Excellent coverage and content

One of my favorite shows to listen to each week. Love the daily content! Being a BYU/Texas Tech alumni and having lived in Waco (root for the Bears when not playing above teams) I really enjoy this! Drake does really good homework on all the teams and has a really good unbiased takes. Keep this going! Looking forward to many more episodes to come!

Good but I hope it doesn’t focus too much on Texas schools now

I like all Big12 content, but there has been a lot of Baylor focus lately. Today’s episode they were talking about McGuire and Aranda as though they were the clear top of the conference. Didn’t seem to remember Klieman and Leipold. McGuire seems like he might pan out to be pretty good and Aranda has had good season, but it’s hard to have a discussion of best in conference without Klieman and Leipold
