B42RSpreading Hope!What an inspiring message! I am 51 years old…post menopausal and 40 pounds overweight. My fiancé passed away a year ago and all I’ve done since he passed is eat. Ben said it best, I am physically and mentally obese. I am addicted to food. After hearing Ben’s story, I have hope that it’s not too late for this middle-aged woman to get my health back and live a happy fulfilled life again!

I appreciate how he teaches us how to maximize our health, by doing things that fall in line with our body’s innate ability to heal itself. The episode on walking correctly for weight loss was super helpful in solving my big debate on walking my goal of 5 miles all at once, or to walk 30 mins after each meal! I’ve added this practice and I feel much more relaxed about my walking and I’m already seeing results! Thanks Ben!

butterflybekkaBest podcast ever!I honestly am not sure I would be alive today if it weren’t for information I have found here. I’m serious. I thought I was experiencing night sweats as a result of perimenopause. I was waking up soaked in sweat, confused and feeling ill in the middle of the night. After listening to some of your podcasts I became curious about my blood sugar stability. I asked my doctor to prescribe a CGM for me and I discovered I was having severe blood sugar lows. Sometimes in the low 40s. Without the awareness of post prandial hypoglycemia discussed on your podcast I wouldn’t have known to be an advocate for my own health. Thank you Ben and all your many guests for the invaluable knowledge you impart!

andreashoreySound advice in digestible bitesI studied culinary arts and had some nutrition classes where we barely grazed on the differences of saturated vs poly unsaturated fats, the glycemic index, and glucose. My college courses were much longer and still didn’t touch on some of the really helpful information provided here. Sure we talked about everything in moderation and limiting high glycemic foods, but there was no mention of the effects of glyphosate on the body, the length of time poly unsaturated fats remain in the body, or that fructose and glucose are chemically identical. So I sit here with a culinary degree and some training in nutrition and I’m still taking notes during this podcast because despite all I know, I am still unhealthy and need help. Thank you Ben, yes you sound like Christopher Walken, but we all need more cowbell in our life. I knew I needed help but I didn’t know what was wrong. I can’t wait to put this into action.

Just so you know ( recent episode 7 foods not to eat #770) it is canola oil that is called rapeseed oil in the uk / europe—- not corn oil. Still gross no matter what you call it. Your description of canola production is a game changer. From wikipedia Rapeseed (Brassica napus subsp. napus), also known as oilseed rape, is a bright-yellow flowering member of the family Brassicaceae (mustard or cabbage family), cultivated mainly for its oil-rich seed, which naturally contains appreciable amounts of erucic acid. The term "canola" denotes a group of rapeseed cultivars that were bred to have very low levels of erucic acid and which are especially prized for use as human and animal food. Rapeseed is the third-largest source of vegetable oil and the second-largest source of protein meal in the world.[2

TTBEN is the man!!I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2020 and took depression meds. They gave me metformin! Said nothing about my diet. I came across Ben actually months before I was diagnosed and had already started fasting and eating low carb. Never took the meds, and off antidepressants. It changed my life! All my levels are great and my fasting insulin was a 4.5! Ben’s testimony and long history of research to finding ways to live an optimal life is helping so many people and you will surpass your million my friend! You are definitely doing Gods work by informing us and I thank God often along with the few others I follow like Dr. Mindy Pelz, Dr. Ken Berry, Dr. Jason Fung, Gin Stephen’s, Dr. Daniel Pompa to name a few. The world definitely needs more doctors and educators like like you all! You have also managed to stay humble over years and I appreciate that as well. Keep on, Keto’ing on Ben!

One suggestion….the music at the beginning and end of each podcast is jarring— just unpleasant noise and way too loud in my headphones. I’d suggest a softer, more pleasant sound. Other than that, this podcast is one of the best!
