I love Felix’s podcast. It is always a great listening experience. I experienced this tragedy as well. I know my collection pales in comparison to David’s but it still hurts. I was woken up around 5:00 in the morning coughing to smoke. I escaped with a couple of portfolios and some family pictures. I hope no one experiences the pain of this.

I’m glad that there is an OA collecting podcast. It’s typically worth listening to, but could be better. Felix does talk over guests and seems to wait for his turn to talk, and will pivot topics, rather than listen and engage. The trade episodes were major snoozers, so I’d recommend cherry picking by topics or guests that interest you. Anything built entirely on one transaction is not enough to carry an episode. Also, he really loves to say Moneyball, try to count how many times you hear it.

Like many getting into something new, finding those who have done it well and generously is incredibly important. Felix’s podcast does just that with his guests and discussions on original art. This podcast IS the inside baseball of collecting original comic art and a must listen for those who are just getting into or have been collecting original comic art for quite some time. Usually a very informarive podcast about comic art and comic art collecting. The most recent podcast 'The Greatest Trade Ever Made' however was much ado about nothing. They spent over 45 mins speaking about art without specific infomation about the art, the artist, the characters or the issue.

As a relatively new collector of original comic art, I enjoy learning about the insights and perspectives of folks that have been in this hobby for decades. If you’re into original comic art then I highly recommend checking out this podcast and subscribing to Felix Comic Art’s newsletter!

This host is trash. He constantly interrupts his guests and never lets them finish a sentence and his elitist attitude is appalling. No redeeming factor. What a horrible guy. Had to shut off the episode halfway through.

By far Felix’s comic art podcast is the best comic related material out there. Not only does he bring some of the biggest collectors in the hobby to be interviewed, but some surprising guests, like my personal favorite S. Craig Zahler. Thank you for what you do Felix.

I’ve just started trying to purchase original art. I happened about Felix’s site because of an ad. He has affordable pieces and he’s repping a lot of the biggest names in the business. This podcast is great for hearing stories about original art and understanding the business. Can’t recommend this show enough!

I bought my first piece of comic art from Felix nearly five years ago, knowing nothing about him. A year and a half later, I discovered his podcast. Having now been collecting art for five years, I’m on my fourth pass through the entire series. With every iteration, I glean something new. Felix appeals not only to established, big game collectors, but also to the novice with a smaller budget. His earnest passion for the hobby is infectious, and his ability to pull even the casual listener into deep comic art discussions is uncanny. You’ll hear from collectors with decades of experience, sketch collectors, and even the artists themselves. Whether it’s tales about hunting for an elusive piece, the inside scoop on private art sales, or discussing the comic art market, you’ll find a reason to binge every episode.

Obviously essential listening for any comic art collector, but also just a great podcast. Felix makes you feel like you’re one of the coolest collectors in the world! No matter what your collection is like, you get to hang out with top collectors for casual but passionate conversations, sharing in a great mix of earnest enthusiasm and wise skepticism.

Not to echo what others have already written, but as a new-ish comic art collector, these podcasts have been an invaluable source of information and entertainment about this hobby. The insights shared by Felix and his guests about comic art (amongst other things) have made for great listening and learning about navigating the world of original comic art. A big thank you for all of this great content!

Felix interrupts the guests too often, speaking over them, or just talking too much and not giving guests time to speak, even raising his voice to shout them down. Felix, if you want to talk just do podcasts without guests. But if you’re going to invite guests, give them more time to speak without interruptions.

As far as I know, the only podcast dedicated to original comic book art. Felix knows the field like nobody else. The guests, both artists and collectors, are also top notch. Great resource if you have any interest in OA, as well as just being entertaining.

The first episode I listened to was the update from Felix recently. It was incredibly moving, even for someone with a frosty heart such as myself. The show is all about comic art collecting and some of the stories they tell are absolutely fascinating!

Really love this podcast. Listen to many episodes over and over again. Highly recommend it to any with a general interest in art, asset markets, comics and collectibles. The host does a great job of interviewing and doesn’t get in the way. Some podcast hosts blab on and on and care more about hearing their own voice rather than saying something meaningful. This is not the case here; Felix does a great job. Maybe this will make you want to get involved in a fascinating hobby!

Felix Lu and the artists that he represents are a better than a boon from Badoon. I have genuinely enjoyed every episode & the ones with David Mandel, Erik Larsen, Scott Free, David Halperin and Glenn Danzig are etched in my conscience. It is so brilliant to have the hobby discussed intellectually and with humor & appreciation. There is always a place for fanboys & gals however Felix seems to sense the preciousness of listeners’ time & stays dialed in. Very delighted to enjoy this show - 15 episodes until I’ve listened to them all in their entirety. Kudos & thanks.

Felix’s comic art podcast is hands down the most entertaining and informative resource on the topic. Whether you’re an OA newbie or a seasoned collector, you will walk away more knowledgeable on the topic of comic art and collecting than you were prior to listening to each podcast. His guests are great and inviting and the topics covered are wide ranging and will further spark your interest in this unique hobby. Give it listen... you’ll be glad you did.

I couldn't love this podcast any more! I relisten to episodes all the time, it's like comfort food. Felix's knowledge of the comic art hobby is matched only by his love for Dark Knight Returns, it seems. But this is also a very entertaining listen; I love when he has his buddies like Lambert and Andy Robbins on the show, just shooting the breeze and busting each other's chops - well, mostly Andy's chops. I love to hear about the wins and losses experienced by veteran collectors. And if you've been infected by the dark soul of comic art collecting, you'll relish having this human link to other addicts who are in the same boat. This show is a reminder of how fun this hobby can be.

If you’re just now discovering this show, congratulations, because it’s the best of its kind. I cherry picked what episodes interested me at first, but upon starting from the beginning, thoroughly enjoyed EVERY episode. Some even more than the ones featuring artists I was familiar with.

Felix is doing thankless work for those who bear any interest in the vast world of original comic art. There are no steadfast rules to adhere to in comic art collecting, but through listening to this podcast, you’ll surely be able to avoid unnecessary mistakes and develop a keen sense of how the machine that is the original comic art market functions. On top of the genuine value you gain in education on the matter, the podcast has a very inviting tone in all of the discussions and you’ll often feel like you’re just sitting in on a conversation with good friends. Felix has been able to bring in the top collectors in this hobby and relatively new ones as well, just to try to balance out all the DKR talk. If you start listening you won’t want to stop, especially those with recurring guest Andy Robbins!

I listen to the Felix Comic Art podcast while driving to and from work and it has actually made me look forward to my commute through Los Angeles traffic. Yes! Bumper to bumper traffic, I may be able to finish this episode before I get home!

Felix does a great job covering multiple facets of the comic art collecting hobby from tips for new collectors to in depth conversations about the market. A highlight of my week whenever it is released.

Truly a well-crafted series, with something for every collector. I picked it up when it was about 20 episodes in, and binged-listened my way through them all in no time. For a newbie collector like me, the insider anecdotes, collecting tips, creator interviews, mega-collector insights are all just pure gold. Thank you Felix! Fair warning - you may feel the urge to both buy more art, and be more discerning about collecting after each episode. Props to Yamal for the excellent production value!

This is the only podcast that talks to artists and collectors and artists that collect original comic book art. There is something for everyone here at all interest levels and budgets. Felix is a great interviewer and actually more of an instigator drawing out interesting comments from the folks he talks to. His personal enthusiasm for the subject matter shines through as well!

The show is SO good. They don’t holdback. Felix is a great host, and his rouges gallery of special and recurring guests is amazing. I just got back/more seriously into art, and back into reading lots and lots of comics. I’ve found this podcast to be useful in my education, and also super fun to listen to. I’ve currently been plowing through back issues every day on my commute, and sometimes around the house. Thanks to Felix, Yams, Andy, Beno, the Ron, Lambert, Dan, Skottie, Cliff, and everyone else... there’s really too many to thank for making this my favorite podcast, or radio show.

Listening to the podcast is like sitting in with the big time collectors while they recount their experiences pursuing original comic art. I also love the interviews with artist collectors.

Favorite podcast! As a new, younger collector I have found much of the information and interviews to be incredibly interesting and helpful. The experience and knowledge shared by Felix and his guests is beyond extensive and without a time machine there is no better way to learn about the history of OA collecting. I do notice that there is a tangible amount of poker-like discretion and secrecy in this hobby which I think makes it harder for younger collectors such as myself to gain knowledge from older, wiser collectors to a degree. I would like to hear more perspectives from younger collectors who maybe less experienced but can perhaps offer a fresher view of where they think the hobby is going and growing/shrinking.

One of the most entertaining podcasts around. I look forward to it every month. Felix and all his guests have wonderful “radio presence” and every episode is full of interesting information and insight into original comic art collecting.

As someone who is relatively new to the comic art world, this podcast is essential. I never miss an episode and have learned so much since it began. I especially love all the old "war stories" from those who were around in the pre-internet days. Highly recommended.

I really enjoy listening to collectors talk about how they got started, and about which pieces mean the most to them. It's interesting to hear different opinions from across the spectrum of the hobby, and some stories from the deeper end of the collecting pond.
