The host has lots of worthwhile points. However, the incessant profanity dims her light.

Danielle provides a passionate warning about the meaning of transphobia and the broader implications for all of us when politicians try to dictate who we can be. Republicans are mandating that you are sufficiently masculine or sufficiently feminine and conform to their “Biblical norms.” It’s all about imposing White Christian Nationalism on this country. And we need Danielle’s voice to shout out this warning.

Beyond honest and direct, Danielle tells it like it is whether it is hard to hear or not. Every pod she on (Democracy-ish; The New Abnormal ) and platform (YouTube and IG, etc.) is worth following. Thank you, Danielle.

I know you gotta make that money. But there are too many ads in a single episode. I want to be informed and hear your perspective but enough is enough. I get tired of hearing the same ads sprinkled through these short 19 minutes episode. Please rethink ad and sponsorship placements for your podcasts because you are losing listeners. I tried for the last 5 months but now I gotta unsubscribe and unfollow this show.

It must be exhausting to be Daniel to be so upset about everything for so many years. I’m honestly not sure how she walks upright with all of the chips on her shoulders weighing her down.

Amazing! This is the place I come to feel surrounded by sanity and common sense… and also the wide comedic range of Ms Moody…I have spit my coffee across the table on many of her one liners. Just the most pleasurable experience while we await the apocalypse.

But this episode is frustrating. You honestly think that the alternative is no big deal because Biden pisses you off?? What exactly, precisely do you think Trump will do when the US is a full authoritarian regime?? I wish you would have taken a few deep breaths before publishing this episode.

This show has become one that I never miss. Thank you Danielle for being a touchstone for me in these times. You are always on point, your tone is always exactly right. Keep crushing it, love all that you do.

There isn’t a gun issue whatsoever. Literally 3% of gun deaths in this country are caused by rifles. That includes the so so scary AR15. Y’all need to relax. Ya don’t hear about the good people with guns who help. They force this terrible gun narrative down your throats and ya eat it up like it’s gospel. We have a mental health crisis. And even if you take away guns you truly think criminals aren’t going to have them? You take away from good people and the crime goes way way way up. Use your brain folks. I’m sorry this ain’t a review but I had to say this. It’s just ridiculous

The latest episode, Illusion of Justice, is exactly why I love Danielle. I feel this outrage. I feel this frustration. Thank you. Thank you for making me feel like I’m not the only one who feels this way. In fact I know there are lots of us out there. We need more people like this giving voice to disbelief and anger.

Great Show! Love the Honesty and Insight! But, not being able to find opportunities and buy a house isn’t just starting with Generation Z. I’m what you call a Zennial and I never acquired these aspects of the American dream despite doing what I was supposed to do, taking on college loans, and working like crazy these past 25 years to rent in a neighborhood where all the home owners are Gen X’ers who look at me like it’s my fault b/c I’m “so smart”. When I was in high school social scientist were stating my generation was the 1st to have 3-5 careers in our lifetime instead of the 1 job with a pension. So, I’m surprised (but not surprised) that the generation I belong to is often overlooked.

Thanks you for your voice Danielle. I agree with you regarding we are not voting FOR Biden, so much as to protect Democracy. I support the people of Palestine, Gaza, and Israel. I do not support the actions taken by their leaders. I absolutely do not support genocide. It doesn’t mean I’m antisemitic or ant-Muslim or anything else. A vote for Biden means a vote for someone who is moveable, someone who can be changed by continuing to push him and pressure and speak out. People who want to vote for Trump or someone other than Biden, that is a Privilege AND a choice to sit it out is a vote for someone and something worse. If we complain and sit out the election, we are giving up more than the next presidency. We are giving away democracy at home, AND condemning the people at war in the Middle East right now, to further oppression, death, and erasure. Because the GOP would be worse for the people of Gaza et al., not better. I’d stake my life on that bet. I won’t vote for Biden. I will cast a vote in his favor, because I choose to vote for democracy and to still have a chance for freedom beyond 2024.

Thanks for all you do and all you say and the way you make me think. You are wise beyond your years my dear, and I hang on every word. I’m glad you are choosing to take better care of yourself this year and I hope it continues way past the election. We are all afraid of losing our democracy, at least most democrats and some independents and republicans. Keep spreading the word as you so brilliantly do! Shake it off and be cool 😎 and be well. I saw the coverage of South Africa case against Israel on MSNBC The Reid Out

This show so frequently puts words (and often emotions) to the moods that I am having, including the current complexity of hating what Biden’s doing to Palestine and yet still knowing that he’s the best choice in 2024. He wasn’t in my Top 25 either, but I’m similarly terrified of how much worse King Trump would make every aspect of our lives and the lives of people in Palestine.

20K dead now Danielle. How many more? If he kills half of Gaza, will you still support Biden? Again I say if Biden thinks he has this election in the bag and he can commit endless war crimes, even genocide in Gaza, what is to prevent him from doing so? Do you really think a person who has become so hardened to the suffering of babies and children, that he can do “right” here in our oligarchy? Do you think he gives a crap about working people? He pretends to just like he pretends to be a Catholic. He doesn’t even listen to the Pope calling for a ceasefire! We have no democracy by the way. That’s a lie. It has been for a long time. The only truth Trump ever spoke was that he could kill someone and no one would care. Because he has money. The rich can do anything they want. The justice system is there to persecute the rest of us, like the young 16 year old boy in NY a few years ago who spent 3 years in Rikers prison just because “someone thought” he stole a back pack! Not long after his release he committed suicide. Surprise, surprise! He had no jury, no court procedure, no lawyer probably. But the rich do what Trump and cronies do, delay, delay, delay. All those big money wins for the women Trump and Giuliani ruined? Doesn’t mean a thing if they never actually get the money, now does it? It’s all for show. I know what you are saying Danielle, but at this moment, especially if you want Biden to get re-elected, your focus should be ceasefire now!

Danielle is ON! POINT! The relief of hearing a woman speak truth to power every week is everything. She is part of a “team” of people I listen to regularly and will not miss, because hearing reality AND emotion in her voice is medicinal in these times. Friendly suggestion: I believe you are referring to General Mark Milley re: how Trump has repeatedly vocalized wanting to use military to abuse American citizens, and he had strongly pushed back against this (when he was Chairman of Joint Chiefs). I have heard you say General Mattis several times in several episodes and it has been confusing at times. Keep up great work Danielle.

If you are shocked that a deeply flawed privileged narcissist who aspires to be a dictator, is still in our daily conversation, then listen to Danielle Moody. She’s wicked smart, funny, empathetic and speaks to the insanity that has infected the Republican Party. Trump wants to be a dictator, and she sees this clearly. How do people not see this! Trump cozied with authoritarian regimes (Russia, China, Turkey, Brazil, N Korea) He led a coup attempt and was ok having his mob kill his vice president and called for the execution of his joint chief of staff. If you are struggling with the both sides enabling in our media, and the erosion of our democracy, Dani will make you feel better. Listening to her is like therapy for the insanity many of us are feeling.

This show is so refreshing because it exudes so much compassion and frustration for the events that has transpired since the election of president Obama. This country is spiraling backwards and Dani unapologetically calls it out. She makes each day possible because I know I am not alone in my anger and frustration.

Enlightening pod — always worth the time. I was very interested in the “Grooming Hate” discussion with Danielle's friend Touré, but his sound level was so uneven that I could not hear many of his comments. I cranked the volume to hear him which meant blowing my ear drums whenever Danielle spoke or an ad break happened.

No logic, no reasoning, just: “THATS HOMOPHOBIC”
