If true crime is your thing, it's ours too. With a dash of Southern charm, Jenn and Lindsay crack open the most compelling cases within different series and topics including cruise ship deaths and disappearances, historical crimes, crimes committed by women, crimes that inspired movies, and so much more. With over 200 episodes there’s plenty to binge.

I grew up in the town where the court proceedings took place. My Mother was actually foreman of the jury on this case and was sequestered for quite some time. You had some interesting points. I wanted to listen to your first podcast, but I believe you said it wasn’t available?

Love the format of your show. I think it’s really clever to do it “Topic” style instead of season or year. Amazing content, well researched, well spoken. Great listen and I do! Weekly! 😅🥰 Fellow Podcastsr Producer/Host, Kellye R. CenLAw Podcast

    Stick to the facts
The hosts are constantly saying this victim feels like… unless they interview said victim or have read/seen an interview, I think it’s in bad taste to try and pass off what they are saying a victim is feeling as the truth. It may or may not be but I think they should avoid saying those things unless they actually know it to be true.

    Pronunciation!
Mark Fur-man not Fur-ham, one of the officers involved in the O.J. Simpson case. Dominick Dunne (as in ‘done’) not ‘dūne’, the late prolific novelist and writer for Vanity Fair. Being young podcasters doesn’t relieve you of the burden to find out about people and events that occurred before you were born.

    Annoying
One of the hosts is always complaining about how BuSy her kids’ schedules are and constantly apologizing for not releasing things on time. Everyone is busy and nobody cares. This is usually said right before plugging their patreon which makes me laugh. You have to hook your new listeners before they will pay money to listen to your extra content. What about any of that makes someone want to join patreon? One of the hosts, not sure if it’s the same one or not, has a speech impediment and mispronounces common words to the point it’s maddening. (Example - simularities (long u) for similarities.) She also says the wrong form of words like making a singular subject plural. It’s not the accent; it’s unique to her. Maybe none of this would be as much of a problem if this wasn’t, you know, a podcast where your only communication to your listeners is through your speech. Some of their speculation is just ignorant. If you’re not familiar with the subject matter, just don’t offer an opinion because you lose credibility on the whole when you spout nonsense.

    Fact checking
Re Heavens Gate episode Propofol (what Michael Jackson died from) is NOT the same as phenobarbital. The first is an anesthesia drug. The second is a depressant. Phenobarbital is what groups like Final Exit recommend for committing suicide. It’s also used to control seizures, help with anxiety, and treating withdrawal symptoms for addiction. I discovered your podcast this morning and was listening to random episodes. This oversight suggests that the information you present is not necessarily reliable.

    Love these ladies
The research in this show is INCREDIBLE. You can tell there is a ton of work that goes into it, and they pour themselves into their show every single week. Don’t sleep on this podcast!

Normally you all don’t bother me but….
Calling a woman “ oriental” is really based out of ignorance. Oriental is a rug not a person. Why didn’t you use Asian? You used it in different parts of the story. I’ve listened to some of your things before and some of them are interesting but this episode you all just seem like you are off your game. It sounds like you were ill prepared and reading off of the sheet.

I’m really disappointed in listening to this case. I’ve never heard of this person but the opinions one of the hosts has rubbed me the wrong way. Manipulation doesn’t take years. It can be months. Just because you haven’t dealt with manipulating at that level, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Before putting your two sense in on solitary confinement, you should really research what it does. Locked up 23 hrs a day, normally a shower every couple of days, no contact with others. Just because they allowed her to do an interview , doesn’t change the fact that she was locked up for 23 hrs a day. Example- if you do one interview and you’re locked up for 5 years, you’re still locked up 23 hrs a day. How many people are going crazy on quarantine for two weeks with no contact? Imagine that in prison for YEARS! Please do some research on what you’re talking about because this was such a poorly done conversation. For context- I worked in a prison for two years where we held two previously escaped inmates. They would have sat 6 months in solitary confinement with the ability to get more time out within those 6 months. It is not mentally appropriate to keep someone in it that long.

    Unbearable mouth sounds
I want to love this because the stories are great. But the host with the southern accent makes terrible saliva sounds/mouth sounds. She also butchers basic words. Says “expecially,” etc.

    First 31 episodes GONE
So, despite being a listener since day one, the first 31 episodes are now behind a paywall Really?? Unsubbed Edit: tried them again, still annoying. Goodbye.

    Love it
This podcast has become one of my favorites. The episodes are well researched but not overly scripted, and I hear a lot of new cases. They are very respectful of victims. I love that they change themes, it introduces some really unique and interesting cases. The hosts have great chemistry and are funny and likable.

    Can’t take it 🥴

Came back for a second go & it’s so good!
You ladies have really grown! I wasn’t a big fan at first but came back by chance. The show has improved so much in quality. Glad I gave it another go, more recent episodes so good!
  • Lorelei182
    Totally enjoy!
Love this podcast. Love y’all’s accents 😂 I know it sounds weird. I mostly love that y’all don’t use a lot of bad language. I know it is a crime podcast, but I hate cussing.🤷🏼‍♀️

    So good!!
I so enjoy these gals! They have such a great and a different way of telling stories! A great spin on a True Crime podcast!
  • JJHGGRILLS
    You girls are great!
I love this and especially the Dark Waters! Just wanted to give you both huge amount of praise for juggling your family and the podcast. These are such strange times and you are absolutely doing the right thing by putting your kids and family first. If I could I would bring you both a pot of chicken and dumplings to help you out. You will never regret being there for your kids and working your job around them. Happy New Year!

    Great PodCast
I enjoy listening to these two ladies! They work very well together and banter back-and-forth very well. They know the information that they’re talking about and how they talk it out it’s nice to listen to. Enjoy the podcast and thank you so much for doing it. And we all say goodbye Felicia

They just improved their sound system, and you can now hear both hosts at equal volume.

    Amazing!
One of my top favorite podcasts! I love how every season has a different theme and I hear about cases I’ve never heard before. From old stories to more recent events this podcast has it all! I recommend it to everyone who asks and will continue to do so. ❤️👍🏻

    Garbage
I seriously don’t understand the reviews that say this is a great podcast, because all the “hosts” do is read Wikipedia articles and giggle inanely. How does one manage to mispronounce so many words? You should do an episode on that: butchering the English language. If you’re dim-witted, enjoy hearing Wikipedia articles read to you while the hosts butcher half the words and giggle childishly, then this pod is *definitely* for you. Good luck.
  • eeleyes19
    Want to like but...
Not a stickler usually but the degree to which the hosts butcher language is often glaring and can take away from the story. It often flows like a paper someone put together an hour before the midnight deadline with things out of sequence in a distracting or confusing way and not really fleshed out. The dark water series was interesting and I want to like it but I have not really found the more recent episodes engaging as there seems to be more rehashing of cases that have already been covered heavily elsewhere with more depth and/or humor.

    Fun to listen too.
This podcast is fun to listen too . Well put together and the two ladies work great together.

Good podcast! So happy I found these girls!
High quality research, good mix of serious and silly. I like that the episodes are divided into series. I have binged the first year in one week.

    Good podcast
If you like true crime, this is a good podcast. You will love the girls behind it because they’re REAL PEOPLE. Mistakes, giggles, and all. They work hard to research and bring the stories to light which is not an easy thing to do being that they both have full time jobs, lives, husbands, and kids.
  • twistedbyj
Jen and Lindsay are the best!
I love this podcast and this team. Perfect blend of fun and straightforward true crime story telling. Their voices are soothing and the way they choose crimes and put them in categories is smart. - Jennine from San Jose, CA

    Get rid of the music
I was looking forward to listening to your episode this week , having just subscribed. Good grief. Get rid of the opening music ! It was so loud and it kept playing while you were trying to talk. I couldn’t hear a word. Just TALK. Skip the blasted music.

    🥰❤️
Love this podcast. Why have you never mentioned that you also host mugshots! I knew the voice as soon as I heard it then had to figure out who’s voice it was! Lol. So anymore secrets you want to share! Lol. Great podcasts!! ❤️❤️❤️
  • JannaMarie55
Thinly researched, barely skims the surface
This podcast is true crime lite. It sounds as if they skim Wikipedia articles to tell the listeners whatever they remember. The ads are also at random spots, so it’s jarring to listen to a gruesome murder and then suddenly its an ad for something useless in the next sentence. It’s not a bad podcast but definitely not good. The hosts giggle a lot in the beginning but not much during the stories, which I appreciate.
  • Flekvegas
    Love these girls
This is a great true crime podcast, hosted by down-to-earth southern girls! They do great research and the podcast is orderly and fun to listen to! Keep up the good work!

Apart from this that this is a good podcast! Keep it up girls
  • katrin213
    I like the podcast buuut...
One of the hosts has a speech/language impairment. Almost every episode she mispronounces words that an adult would normally not mispronounce. For example- “lombotomy ” for “lobotomy”, “labador” for “labrador.” “Impersonable” for “impersonal”, “Camelia” for “Camilla”, “preparization” for “preparation”, “taking back” for “taken aback” Etc etc.
  • mkmccallum
    I LOVE THIS PODCAST
Jenn and Lindsay are so fun to listen to with their banter, slight southern accent (more so Jenn 😏), and “that’s what she said” jokes. And I really love the different series they do! Definitely worth a “subscribe”.
  • Bschora
    1st Impressions
Episode 32. First episode. So far interesting, however I wish there was less giggling. It makes the entire show feel entirely immature. This is a narrative quirk that will get on my nerves quickly. I’ll give it a few episodes, see how it goes. Also less than pleased with duplicate advertisements.

    So much potential!
The two ladies of Corpus Delicti are quite the podcast hosts. Their voices are excellent and the sound quality is good, though their reporting is roughly the same as any other podcast of the True Crime genre.Their southern accents are adorable and one of the hosts sometimes mispronounces words which, in my opinion, I think is adorable too. I like this podcast because it is free of unnecessary foul language and/or inappropriate talk found in SO MANY of the True Crime podcasts. 10/10 recommend!
  • CrochetWizzard!
    One of my favorite podcasts!
This is one of my favorite true crime podcasts! I am always waiting on Tuesday for them to release their next episode! They are respectful and dive into a wide veriety of cases! Definitly give them a listen!
  • AllieCaaaaaat
    Just read wiki
I wanted to hear more on Pike County murders, I was reading wiki as I was listening....it was almost word for word what they were reporting 🙄 nothing funny about multiple murders not sure why you ladies giggle so much. No doubt you’d be good at doing a podcast just maybe true crime isn’t for you. If this were my family, I would be extremely upset at how lightly you take these cases.
  • Bridgettwinning
    Relatable
I love these ladies they are relatable to me and I love their southern accents ❤️
