Narrators introduction is weird and annoying, I always skip to the actual story.

I love the mini poetic style and performing arts in every one of the stories first few minutes. I love the way this podcast is done. I am an artist so I get it. And it really helps me gets out of my head at night and into something besides my own stress. Enjoy it. Thank you. My favorite channel

After having been a long time listener of the show and somebody who enjoys stories of real people in real lives, I can no longer listen to the show because my enjoyment is being interrupted by negative ads that support Trump and his negativity and that denigrate the former president which I don’t mind, you know people having opinions, but what I do mind is the negativityI really did not think the show would try to make money off of just anything and this tells me that the makers have values that I’m not interested in. It just takes me out of the show to hear that level of negativity. If they were neutral it wouldn’t bother me, but the tone is just very negative.

Love these stories!! Got hooked when it started and I’ve followed ever since. Sometimes wish the intro story was a bit shorter- sometimes I skip over it to get to the actual story. But all in all love this podcast. Have told many about it!

No one needed to hear a story about a reincarnated idf soldier. It doesn’t matter what the story was people like that don’t need any spotlight on them unless you’re going to address the terror they inflict

The stories on this show are so fun but the narrator is so over the top it’s hard to get into the content at hand. It’s really sad because the music, which is apparently original each episode, is very good and sets a great tone. Maybe the show is for children?

I used to love this podcast but the current episodes are hardly any story! They’re mostly the host talking, rhyming, like a semi-related prelude and then random ads for toilet paper or vitamins. Start with the old episodes, they’re so much better then at least if a random jingle for Angel Soft starts playing you have a good chunk of a story to stick it out for.

I absolutely love this show but this story was awful, painful, to listen to. Do not recommend this episode at all

I am interested in spooky stories told by the people who have experienced them. Almost ten minutes of the host telling weird inapplicable stories at the beginning of every podcast is super annoying to me and not what I’m looking for.

Wow the stories are so interesting but the host and music need to be tone it down. Especially when the stories are being told. It’s hard to focus on the stories when back ground music are loud. But still its a best podcast spooky story Thank you for all of your hard work so I can enjoy all your amazing stories! Update. A lot to show about the background music is so loud. It feels like it’s taken over to stories with a lot of background noise/music

I get that ads are part of the Podcast environment. But listening to a false narrative ad claiming Trump is helping working Americans? Snap - have you no decency?

Has steadily declined in past couple years. The first few seasons were amazing. The host is still one of the best in my opinion, but the featured stories have taken a nose-dive and do nothing to capture my attention lately. Time to move on.

I usually love Spooked’s international/cultural stories, however the decision to include an “israeli” story is deeply disappointing especially with the current israeli genocide of Palestinians. Having such a story normalizes israeli apartheid and genocide.

This podcast was amazing a few seasons ago. In the last year to two years the episodes repeat, and the new ones are quite boring. Please do more research on stories. There are tons of people out there with interesting stories!

It’s a amazing podcast, I’ve always listen to snap judgement and spooned In the car on NPR at 8, but once I figured out there is a podcast it was a game changer! Just please stop re running episodes

I love so many of the stories on this show but the ads are extremely frequent, disruptive, and oddly placed. The show itself is really well-produced and while I don’t personally resonate with his style, Glenn Washington is clearly a talented host. I like to listen while doing chores and it’s just too annoying to have to stop what I’m doing to fast forward every 5 minutes so these days I usually opt to listen to something else. The stories have been repeated so many times now too that I don’t think there’s any new content.

Look forward to this podcast every Friday! Glynn is a hoot!

I just found this podcast a few months ago and I love it so much. I love a good spooky story and these are done so well I really do get lost in the story.

Oooooo man I have listened to Spooked for years now, I love this podcast so much, understandably the level of admiration towards the podcast is subject to the person listening to it but personally I think it is phenomenal. The Set up he has, the music, the people, the voices. EVERYTHING about it makes me so happy. Like i said I’ve been listening for years now and he used to end the shows with “ never ever ever ever ever turn out the lights” and he hasn’t said it in a while, and I was listening to “the empty chair “ episode and he ended it with the phrase, and I flew over to wanting to leave a comment, it filled me with so much joy, reminiscing old happy memories of me listening to his old episodes. If you like the type of stories that leave your brain wondering and your skin crawling 10/10 i recommend giving them a shot, y’all won’t regret it

Every episode has a 5-7 minute monologue from the host. Too much… Lots of rerun episodes as well. Step it up!

Definitely one of my all time favorite paranormal podcasts. The host, Glen Washington, is amazing. Love his voice, he’s very talented! Love the stories! Highly recommend!

This is what I listen to when I’m stoned at work. When the ad break starts say, “Hey Siri, fast forward 90 seconds.” I don’t listen after sunset… cuz stuff.

Love the content, but just recycling episodes at this point and listing them as new. Not sure what that’s about.

Glynn Washington has one of the best voices in the podcast world...plus this show is SO WELL produced. Great nat sound. Great storytelling. These stories are from real people and storytellers. One of my all time faves. I look forward to these each October, but honestly, I listen to these stories year-round.

One of my favorite podcasts for supernatural stories. The stories are well produced and Glynn is a charming host. But please..Glynn… give up the annoying scary laugh or at least use is it sparingly!!

What is going on with the ads now? There used to maybe be one in the middle. Now there’s a few in the worst spots you can possibly put them.

Captivating scary stories, impeccably produced. As soon as a new episode comes out it’s the first thing I listen to.

These are the best storytelling shows ever! Some of them are out and out treasures worth keeping forever and passing them down to your descendants

So conflicted about this show. Awesome stories with top level production, but Glynn’s intro stories are so over the top as to seem incredibly self indulgent. Like many other reviews have noted, you may spare yourself the misery by skipping 6 to 7 minutes in to avoid the theatrics. Sadly for non pay to play listeners this shows producers and advertisers know how many are skipping introductions, so they are now inserting ads throughout the stories.

There used to be maybe 1 ad break. Now it’s like 3 in a 30 mins podcast. The timing is horrible and it’s so disruptive. If it went back to the way it was before it would 4 stars, easy.

I work in a hospital, although I have never experienced anything odd...I have always thought there have to be stories like this! A great share!

I’m just really annoyed that I paid for a subscription for Spooked and at a time where I didn’t even have very much money, but I knew that the episodes would get me through the times, week by week. Now all of a sudden I’m hearing all of these episodes again. And they’re all free all of a sudden not only am I bored, I feel cheated.

Great show…. But they repeat a lot and I wish they’d be more transparent when episodes are repeats.

It would be great to gift long time listeners with new content instead of releasing old episodes as “new”

Timing of the advertising spoils the mood.

There’s something about this coming out on a Friday that is equivalent to a warm blanket!! Glen’s voice is the icing on the cake.

This show is so nicely done! The music enhancement is great! The story telling is engaging and the content draws my curiosity! I really appreciate how you use creativity and real life in wonderful tandem. I can’t-find anything similar that I enjoy more.

Mr. Washington does not need my praise, but this podcast is, in a word, wonderful. Go listen.
