AlbaRoswellGreat show but producers should focus on keeping things concise and to the pointI love ghostly and spooky tales however my only suggestion would be to edit down on the timing of some of the episodes. I've noticed I start tuning out bc the guests repeat themselves or they take a while to make their point. I definitely think keeping the episodes at an hour works best, which requires the editor to really only leave the valuable words spoken.

ShannonW93I’m hooked!I just discovered this podcast the other day and love it so far! It’s really high quality and I really like how the stories are narrated -reminds me a bit of Radio Rental without the silliness. I also really like how the host does his best to verify and “screen” the stories he allows on the show. It’s very guest and story heavy rather than a lot of fluff from the host which I really appreciate. Can’t wait to listen to more.
-
syndeyinthecityEye opening! This is my favorite show! It has opened my mind to thinking of the universe and human reality in ways I never expected. Jack is thorough with his research and particular about what stories he puts on the show. I appreciate that he looks for stories from people who are not searching out paranormal experiences. It gives the podcast credibility. I also like that he interviews multiple people who were there instead of just one person’s point of view. Very well done.
-
Big Bs617To The TopOtherworld has surpassed all others of its kind. Only one other podcast, Radio Rental, is comparable. The transitions of storytelling is so smooth.
-
RabbitPawLegitimately One of My Top Ten PodcastsJust discovered this show and I adore it: great stories, commentary—I love the measured, balanced approach to this subject
-
addsssaaaBest show in the genreI only recently started listening to Otherworld, but I had quickly become one of my favorite podcasts. These stories seem important, possibly giving us a glimpse to a reality beyond our day to day senses and experiences. 10/10
-
LazzzzloI love this showI love Jack— he’s so respectful, hilarious, and all around good vibes. He’s created a fascinating and entertaining podcast. 10/10

kgstondeWay too many adsGood show. I can’t handle how many ads they run. I know you want money but jeez!!

Cindy13❤️Best podI stumbled across this show. Bing listening. Love love love this show
-
DavadunteramAddictive, informative and paranormal. Sign me up.I started listening to otherworld about a months ago and I’ve listened to nearly all the episodes. I can honestly say I’ve learned a lot through this podcast. And look forward to it to and from work everyday. I have had a few unexplainable experiences myself and many people on this podcast have had similar experiences to my own. I just love this podcast!
-
btykodiEpisode 97Ok I loved this podcast until episode 97 “discernment”. Incredibly disappointed in the kind of self centered and disrespectful tone of this episode. Not sure if I will listen again.
-
HkbabaVery BestI listen to a lot of podcasts that cover a variety of topics. Other World is my favorite. Not because of the paranormal theme, but the quality of the stories, Jack’s interview style, and the in-depth exploration of the story. I actually love Monday mornings again!
-
fuwebgurhwebvreji wijnvfjheiTop QualityI am so impressed with the quality of the show. I’m not one to write reviews but just had to for this show. I have listen to all the episodes and never been disappointed. The stories are so interesting and nothing like I’ve heard before. My hat is off to you! Well done!
-
Gimmy_The_GreatEpisode 96Lol. I’ll take things that didn’t happen for $1000, Alex. Complete with a family of indigenous empaths.
-
CoconutChildHit or missHost doesn’t seem to have much depth of character and the episodes could use better curation, or editing in the absence of that. There’s a hunger for this genre in podcasts but not enough competition for the bar to be higher it seems
-
ludfiskCan’t get enoughThis podcast changed my life and made me see the world and our human experience differently.

HH1984!Spooky Tales from Everyday PeepsLove this podcast and the stories shared here. Keep up the good work!

TheCoolestDadAroundThesePartsPerfect continuation of the YBS Halloween EpisodesI used to get so excited when one of those would drop on Patreon and this is just a nonstop stream of those episodes that I’ve been putting off listening to for almost 100 episodes and now I just get to run through them all for October. Thank you Jack and thank you storytellers.

Bridget1111Best podcast in the 🌎I’m not a review leaver normally for anything but I felt compelled. This podcast blows me away literally every time and coming from someone who is podcast obsessed this is by far the best I’ve listened to…. ever. It’s so unique and so well done all around!!! Love
-
Zer0botCompelling, well-produced, creepyOne of the best. I’d subscribe if the additional content were about trying to find the commonalities between all the stories. This show has made me develop my own pet theory that some people are entering some kind of waking dream State. I’m not saying that the things aren’t happening to them, but there’s not something else going on, but that certainly seems to be some part of it. Perhaps upstairs, some kind of Environmental or even para-Environmental phenomenon going on to account for the shared experiences. Anyway, great podcast.

HELPMEPLEASEUPDATEIncredibly fascinatingThe fact that this podcast exists is a paranormal experience for me lol it just so tailored to my interests and validates my own experiences, it’s a gift! And not just for the subject, it wouldn’t be at all so resonate for me if it weren’t for Jack, who is such a neutral host who truly allows the stories and the people who have experienced them, to truly speak for themselves. He asks inquisitive questions without an agenda, or trying to steer a narrative, its so refreshing. A lot of “paranormal” related content is so dramatized to be “believable” or activating, but there’s nothing more convincing and relatable than when someone has nothing to prove and is genuinely sharing for the sake of mutual awe and intrigue. This podcast tells incredibly interesting stories, and doesn’t ask you to believe anything, because whether you think things are real or not, people have been impacted in profound ways and I would hope, you can put your humanity first, to regardless of belief, feel for someone experiencing something strange. And maybe! open yourself to the unseen that is (scientifically identifiably) pulsing around us at all times. thank you! Love you! Keep going!
-
Body SlithersThis podcast is OKI’m kind of perturbed at how many stories are pretty explainable by sleep paralysis or just a normal encounter with…the natural. It’s got to the point where I make sure to read the description first and see if it mentions laying in bed as a child.
-
Tamar69My FavoriteHigh quality first-person narrations of really fascinating paranormal events by the people who actually lived them. Host Jack is curious but not credulous. This podcast is my absolute favorite.
-
PompluvGreat StoriesIn episode #92 the host seems incredibly insecure while speaking to the parapsychologist from Virginia. The parapsychologist was brilliant but the host it was crippling to listen to him. Either he had waaay too many caffeinated drinks or he’s truly insecure when’s he’s speaking to an expert with degrees behind his name. My spidey sense tells me he’s insecure. Typical when you have no backbone to base your claims. If you’re going to do a paranormal podcast the number one thing you have to do is get secure with who you are. After all, the spirits like to take over fragile egos. That’s how people get possessed. After studying the paranormal for over 2 decades, my advice to the host: do your own research, and develop a better sense of self. And stop saying “like like like.”
-
Anthony CRThe 80/20 RuleI’ve gotten through about 80% of the episodes on this podcast. Make no mistake, there are a couple of pretty crazy stories in here ranging from ghosts and ghouls to alien encounters to cryptids and inter-dimensional hi-jinx. Some of these will stick with you. That being said, those episodes are the minority and you will often find yourself kissing a whole bunch of frogs in search of good content. It seems like the overwhelming majority of this show is a open-mic night for Gen-Z 22yo’s to call in and tell a room-temperature tale with the vocabulary and story-telling skills of a bad internet comment section. It’s a credibility buzzkill for the whole show.
-
KGG137Great content, not so great hostThe stories are pretty great. Love the interviews with DOPS. The host is annoying, however. He never really brings anything to the table. Sort of just sits there & says obvious basic stuff. Kind of reminds me of a frat guy from an 80s movie. Would enjoy more intellectual conversation or thoughts.
-
Matcha🧋Very interestingI’ve been listening since the beginning and it is so awesome. Not only do you make a safe, non-judgmental space, after listening I’ve come to realize that so many “normal” people have had such strange things happen to them. I have had a lot happen to me, so it’s nice to know other people have paranormal experiences. I listen to this podcast all the time, and it is by far my favorite.
-
RadishgodessLove from an analytical witchSo refreshing to hear a scientific take on the things we don’t understand. The acknowledgement that we do not have the language or data to quantify much of what this podcast discusses is what makes it valuable and important. Thanks for leading the conversation!
-
Mini BradleyMy fav ❤️This is such a great show. It’s narrated so well, and the stories are very interesting. I never lose interest. It’s got a little bit of everything unexplained, which is a fresh take on all these paranormal podcasts.
-

-
HappyCathWilllld storiesThis show will make you question your atheism
-
readsesFive starsThe stories are neither sensationalized nor editorialized and center the person who actually had the experience. A really high caliber paranormal pod that has the potential to win over the skeptics. Big fan.
-
Cory loves livinBout time I reviewBeen listening to this podcast since Jack started it. It’s one of my favorite paranormal podcasts, as it touches on all things paranormal, the name for this podcast fits so perfect. Because it is just the other world stuff. Things that are unexplained are what captures me so much!! I love the ghostly and paranormal, but the weird and wild, and things we can’t grasp, is where this podcast nails it!!! Please listen and share. I finally gave my review.
-
montheiNeeds to be scarierPlease do more actually SCARY stories! Love this podcast but it does need some more creepy stories imo…
-
vica183736TY Reddit suggestions!Found this show in June 2024 and am so happy to have many episodes to catch up on! I love this show so much the stories are genuine and scary.
-
THEGRIFF!Best episode yet .Interview with Dr. Kim P. is excellent. Excellent questions and genuine thoughtful answers. Glad to hear these phoneme are being researched and studied. DOPS and Otherworldl rules!!
-
CupcakemasterHands down the best paranormal podcast of all timeand ive listened to a lot of them in my time. but this one is just GOATED. love u jack
-
LBelle0020Really goodThis is my favorite paranormal podcast. The host does an amazing job of being neutral and understanding other people’s beliefs. I’ve heard some really offensive host belittle other people’s cultures and beliefs because they don’t understand them and Jack doesn’t do that. He listens and remains neutral which I really like. The stories are really good and well researched, there is obviously a lot of time and energy put in to making sure these stories are truthful, which I also appreciate. Great podcast!
-
karinityA great listen in this genreI am really enjoying this podcast. If you enjoy paranormal stories, check it out. Reminds me a bit of Radio Rentals with the stories and I love that podcast, too.
-
MiniInigoMontoyaSome good episodesCan be entertaining. Don’t care for it all the time.
-
jeebeamGone downhillEntertaining the "Them" series is laughable. Your hippie mom set you up and texted you to.. walk into a lake at night. Wow so paranormal.
-
Smurf NuggetGood stories, meh hostThe guests and their stories are fascinating. It gets hard to follow when the host interrupts all the time and seems to double down on things not being believable or “guys guys I was just watching and it couldn’t have been her, it’s so bizarre I don’t believe it either but here we are.” Gives ghost hunter show vibes at times (the ones where they’re yelling at ghosts and being generally cringy). I also think as someone making a podcast about this area you should have some basic knowledge so you don’t invalidate or disrespect the ppl who firmly believe in their experiences and accounts. If you can find a way to ONLY listen to the guest then you’ll like the show lol

#june is awesome+🐱Need Pics and VideoI’m all in on Otherworld and Jack Wagner. Joined Patreon, can’t believe this podcast even exists. But Otherworld needs to take a HARD cue from folks like Derek over at Monsters Among Us who is one of best in the business. He always has links, pictures and video right there under the episode description. And they work. I just listened to the Patreon episode about the pair of exploding glasses in the cabin and could not even open the video file on my iPhone. The exploding glasses story is nothing without pictures of the actual exploded glasses. This is not the first time I’ve had trouble- the “ghost girl video” would only play in a tiny format on my screen and I could not find it on YouTube. I know Jack and team are getting up to speed and have a crazy pace, but guys - we need to see the evidence!! The current Norwegian series describes videos from a car but only plays the sound from them when the actual logistics of the video are super important. I find it funny that Jack has a hard time believing things sometimes but how are we to believe it when we don’t even get to see the evidence??
-
mrzkatrnkThem (sara)this is been an amazing journey and I'm a fan of the podcast and hearing that last soundbite did me in. I felt such familiarity for solveigs voice as soon as the first episode started, and that's really what kept me listening to the whole mad story. hearing Sara's voice was so similarly familiar. wow great work all
-
pixiepunumThank you for ThemI have been listening to podcasts since the beginning (2012). This series (Them) is honestly the best paranormal story I have ever listened to! As fantastical as it is, all the participants seemed down to earth and honest. Kudos to Jack Wagner and his team!
-
Cbeep2024Them Part 4 is SO GOODOtherworld is such a good podcast but it’s been getting better each episode. The latest series, Them, walks the line between paranormal and investigative journalism so well!
-
Sandy D SGreat podcast except for the hostI love these stories it’s just that Jack mansplains the story and drags on with his commentary in an annoying way.
-
NorCalSullyGoosebumpsThis is a very compelling podcast to say the least. I appreciate how this is not just another ghost story/paranormal listening. It’s so much more than that. I appreciate the host’s open mind approach to a variety of topics ranging from uncomfortable, to unreal/surreal, bizarre and just plain weird. Let me just also say that there were times a few episodes definitely kept me up at night.
