T&GMomLong time listenerI have been listening since the beginning. I love the advice and information. But the ads are getting out of control. I find myself listening to this one last in my weekly roundup as I have to be available to skip forward though the ads.
-
Clary’s MomI was looking forward to itOpted out quickly.. too many ads
-
Live MadlySisterhood and Wisdom = MagicI LOVE this podcast! This podcast is amazingly varied in the discussion of happiness and health. I love that the sisters are non-judgmental and allow you to feel human and normal for not being perfect. I like the emphasis on looking at who we each are as individuals and applying the right mechanisms and habits to make ourselves happier. There is no one right way. I love that! Gretchen and Elizabeth provide endless catharsis for me. If I am panicking or having a bad day, this cheery, heartfelt, charming and practical podcast can help shift my mood and get me focused on what I can do. Love!
-
ChefAnnetteToo many ads!!I’ve been a faithful completist listener since episode one. I’ve maintained giving a 5-star rating the whole time. But I feel like the past year or so has been increasingly disappointing because the time allotted to ads and promotions is nearly equal to the content and on the Little Happier episodes it is often MORE than the actual show! I would go as low as 3 stars but I still look forward to listening, just not to having to have my finger on the fast forward button all the time
-
paigeamberbacaniHouse TrustThis podcast is SO FUN!! What a beautiful concept! An ENTIRE podcast about happiness!! Simply listening to the two of you value one another and giggle makes me want to continue sharing happiness with those around me!! Please continue this sweet podcast, I really loved hearing about “house trust” and new traditions! So much joy here!!
-
Heidi JeanToo many adsDay one listener and the ads are really starting to be off putting. I feel like every episode there’s more. To be interrupted every 10 minutes for multiple ads is wild to me. The info is not so profound that I’m willing to put up with it much longer. I may be at the tipping point for this show. I’d rather have one extra long set of ads in the middle.
-
eamwilliamsSo many ads! This short little podcast has so many ads! I wanted to continue listening but I just can’t deal with having to fast forward so often in a 30 min podcast

MoreMustardMy OG podcastI was a fan of Gretchen Rubin before the podcast started. I’ve listened since episode 1 aired and never miss an episode. This podcast is the reason I got into podcasts. I love hearing from Gretchen and Liz. All of the content is fun, actionable, and insightful.
-
QuillPig msInsightful and InformativeI’ve learned so much about myself and how to relate to others.
-
katherined6991My go to podcast in good times & badI look forward to this podcast every week. Savoring listening to past episodes. Enjoy the life hacks and tips. Most of all appreciate the positivity and encouragement to ‘choose the bigger life’.
-
catcoolAn essential and fun part of my week! The hacks are helpful, and I appreciate and use those. But the positivity and can do attitude is refreshing in an increasingly negative point in time. Middle age has its challenges, so it is great to hear these successful women talk candidly about their lives. Because I live nowhere near either New York or LA, I appreciate a peak into two lives that are so different than mine.
-
Michelle GimLove this podcastThis is so much fun and helpful! Gretchen and Liz have helped change my life and find more happiness. Lots of useful tips and hacks too!
-
AW mamaCan’t miss this podcastI absolutely Love this podcast and look forward to every episode release! Happy 500 episodes, what an amazing milestone. I’m here for 500 more for sure :)!!

iPhone Fan 500Favorite podcast! This is my favorite podcast! I have been listening for years. Gretchen and Liz are a joy to listen to, and listening makes me feel like I’m hanging out with friends. I love the practical tips and solid advice. I often find myself saying, “Gretchen says…” related to habit change or recommendations. You won’t be disappointed with this podcast!
-
Betsy PepineLove this podcast!I’ve been following Gretchen since her first book and love all her uplifting content. My life has gotten much happier implementing many of her suggestions!
-
Erica N CampbellGrounded, practical, and fun!I’ve been a longtime listener, and this is a gold standard in podcasts. The content is grounded, practical and fun. I appreciate the authenticity and connection with Gretchen and Elizabeth. Highly recommend!
-
Ediedorie20 years of awesome advice/inspiration/hacksWow! So much of how I live my life is because of the amazing tips, mindset shifts, and observations shared in this podcast (and books). Between books and this podcast, Gretchen has been a big part of my thoughts & decisions for past 20 years! What a gift Gretchen & Liz are. Love how the sisters connect and enjoy one another. Highly recommend for productive, INTENTIONAL women of all ages, but think prime zone is probably 35-65. THANK YOU SO MUCH, Liz & Gretchen! ❤️ #livethebiggerlife

WillowVThe Happier Podcast ROCKS!I absolutely love The Happier podcast! I listen to many podcasts and eventually tire of them all… except, The Happier podcast (and The Happier in Hollywood podcast)! What keeps me coming back is the variety, the positivity, and the sister rapport!
-
CallandreSisters who like each other!I so enjoy listening to Gretchen and Elizabeth go back-and-forth with their banter. They clearly love and admire each other and as they are sisters, they’re as different as they are alike. They are very well informed, and have given me much to ponder in all the years that I’ve been listening to them …thank you, ladies, you rock.
-

-
McGriff the Crime DogThis podcast has changed my life in the best wayEvery episode has at least one gem for me to implement in my life. I am so much HAPPIER since finding Gretchen and Elizabeth!!
-
toonuchmoneyOverall ok but sometimes too liberalOverall I like the show. But occasionally the very liberal political views become apparent and it really turns me off. Please try to limit that and those of your guests.
-
Li 1009I discovered your podcast while listening to another podcastI love it that two sisters get along so well n bring out the best in each other. I’m more like Elisabeth, however, I also have things in common with Gretchen. Also appreciate the quotes you read from various books that made an impression on you. I’m almost caught up with all your podcasts and I’m writing my first review ever! Thank you so much! Li from Westwood NJ, originally from Suriname, South America.
-
Samsmom01Day One ListenerI’m a day one fan of the podcast and of Gretchen’s work overall. I look forward to new episodes in my feed every Wednesday! Gretchen and Elizabeth invite you into their sisterly banter and thoughtful topics. This is what’s making me happier every week. ❤️

Erin in IllinoisCan a podcast change your life?!In the case of the Happier Podcast with Gretchen Rubin (and Liz), my life is indeed changed and happier! I look forward to every episode and since I am a fairly new listener, I go back for seasonal episodes. My life is filled with more purpose and intentionality. Tips, tricks, hacks, gold stars, the trifecta - I love it all.
-
Cs128Great Happiness HacksI love this podcast. It’s very practical and doesn’t preach or dwell on complicated research studies. The two sisters, Gretchen and Elizabeth, are fun to listen to, share great ideas and stories, and use helpful examples for creating more fun and happiness in your life. Almost every episode includes a small “try this at home” challenge that is easy to do and put into practice if you are interested. I highly recommend.
-
Sabriel-0405Quick ways to get HappierI’ve been listening now for 4 years and the podcast only gets better. Liz and Gretchen are funny, sincere, and genuine and really care about what they do and how their actions impact their audience. I am definitely happier!

-
BrandyNoodleThis has made me happy!I love this show and have listened to it longer than any other podcast…many years now. I’m a big believer in Gretchen’s framework of the four tendencies. Love all the hacks and tips for making life richer. I listen as soon as a new episode comes out and I usually can always take knowledge with me to use the very day I listen. Thanks so much for all your work Gretchen! You are making a difference in my life, and many other lives!
-

DaniDSt.Love it!I just love this podcast. No matter what is going on in the world, listening to Happier immediately grounds me and gets me feeling, well, HAPPIER!
-
DaniHeggeSlow downLove, the content, always have. Gretchen you seem to have sped up your talking, which makes my brain go into overdrive. Definitely not a happy feeling. If you were able to slow down your speaking and deliver your content in a more calm manner, I would enjoy listening again.
-
moreskinnydaysLove Gretchen even more than before!Happiness Project is one of my all-time favorite non-fiction books--I could almost stay it is my bible. Eventually I ask everyone in my life, “Have you read ‘The Happiness Project?’” The writing is the perfect balance of discovery, success, and reconciling with one’s true self. I re-read it regularly and I have enjoyed Happier at Home and Better Than Before as well. I decided to subscribe to the Happier Podcast because honestly, I missed Gretchen. The first podcast I listened to was about a Japanese company who made a major business decision via Roshambo. “Fun!” I thought. But episode 478, “An Easy Way to Make Life More Interesting” hooked me because I too believe that learning how things worked makes life more interesting. And I read a lot. Having a sister myself, I liked the sisters’ banter. I then learned that this podcast offered me something NO OTHER podcast does—the ability to listen at 1x. It’s true! Every other podcast I listen to I listen to 1.5 - 2x its original speed because their slow speaking and self-indulgent, pregnant pauses are too much. But Gretchen lives at my speed. Like I said, I didn’t know it was possible to love Gretchen even more than before, but now I do.
-
KFochsLove the pod!Such a great listen. Easy listening and happy to listen!
-
LexipdxLove itSuch a comfort listen for me!
-
Ncb2020My walking companionsI have listened to every single episode during my neighborhood walks. So much to love!
-
MarcarmarGreat tactical suggestionsI love the different suggestions from big to small that I can apply daily. And loved the note in the latest episode about the person who is leaving positive feedback for a podcast or book or something each day. What a wonderful reminder to put food energy out in the world! Inspired me!
-
SkittlesmuncherOne of my Top 3 - never miss an episodeI adore Gretchen and Elizabeth - I feel like we’re friends. I’ve learned so much from them! Sometimes Gretchen’s energy exhausts me, and I certainly don’t try everything they suggest, but their hacks and “try this at homes” have indeed helped me to be happier, healthier, more productive, and more creative.
-
B/B fanLike listening to friends-my favorite podcastI love listening to Gretchen & Elizabeth. Your closeness is evident & it’s so enjoyable to feel included in your conversations. I’ve learned so many great tips. Please help with my dilemma that you mentioned in your latest podcast. It’s tough to clear “clutter“ because of LOVE. Now that I know the problem, I hope you can help with solutions lol.
-
loritraczMy favorite podcast!!!Podcasts have changed my life. I love them so much, but Happier with Gretchen Rubin is my true favorite! Thank you Gretchen and Elizabeth!!!
-
CrystalCricketteMy favorite podcast!I've been listening to this podcast for years and it is still my favorite! It's light, smart and relatable while delivering life hacks and productivity advice so it never gets boring and always feels great to listen to!
-
IWeaveIdeas…Happier StillI so appreciate these two very different sisters, who are so supportive in spending time together, letting us get a glimpse of their lives through their genuine conversations and sharing the aha moments and listener suggestions. I started listening a couple of years ago and sometimes go back and binge older episodes that I never heard. As I listened today to the Five Love Languages episode from 2016 it really struck me how far you’ve come in self awareness and improved relationships. I cheer you on with each revelation! (How’s that for words of affirmation?!) Thank you!
-
KateGoldbasPostpartum late night company!I first discovered Gretchen years ago when I was in the throes of early motherhood and my husband was often traveling for work. It was lonely at night once my son was asleep and I needed some company while tidying the house, emptying out the stroller, pumping, washing bottles etc. A friend had suggested listening to audio books and I started with The Happiness Project. Now here I am with our second son, having listened to all of Gretchen’s books but not the podcast! What fun it has been during the late night glider hours to listen to Gretchen and Liz. It makes me feel productive just listening - especially during a time when my hands are busy with baby life. I am more “Kate” than ever, I’ve done my 24 for 24 list and I even started a book club here with other mom friends! Thank you for the motivation to be me, the tips, the laughs and the company when everyone else is sleeping.
