I’ve been an avid listener since the 2022 season. I have really appreciated and enjoyed the daily Vikings content. Until now. The show’s obsession with the Rodgers Flirtation has taken it into the Realm of Clickbait, and I’m at the point where I’ve hit pause on three different episodes this week before even getting to the halfway point. Stop burying the lead about the great free agency period we’ve had. Please move on!

Great content and fun seeing how the hot takes pan out. Also it makes it interesting to see which players go where when the free Agency is available by telling everything to the listener’s

I love the show and understand you have to support yourselves but my lord the amount of ads is insane

Their content is great year-round, but the show really shines in the off-season when discussing FA and the draft! Real excited for Thorsdays!

As much as I want to love this pod because of Phil and Judd I just can’t. I see the Purple Daily icon and think-ok, I need to fast forward through way too many commercials and I have to listen to that cheesehead Declin who seems like a good guy but I can’t stand his Packer biased Fake I love the Vikings takes. Too much to overcome

These guys are great - just three guys having light but informed talks about the Vikings. And a bunch of great guests/contributors. Don’t miss Thorsday - the very best day of the week and any Randy from Cottage Grove appearance is a great show! They’re all good!

I enjoy the show! One of my favorite Vikings pods. Randy, however, is so cringey. It’s like listening to a drunk hillbilly talk about the Vikings.

Just wanted to state that I love listening to the podcast! But based off the game on Sunday, yeah we lost! But this is a good thing! Puts a bad taste in there mouth, learned a lot, don’t have being undefeated hanging on there heads and we get out of a really tough physical game with no major injuries!

I am a long time listener to a local Minnesota sports station and have found the need to find new Vikings content. I started listening to Purple Daily in the preseason and it has been great and what I have been missing this year. Keep up the great work!

These guys are great! They give honest and straightforward analysis of the Vikings and are not afraid to level a high level of criticism when it is warranted! Much better than that other sports talk station in the Twin Cities! Great work gentlemen!

Stop with the 10-15 minute discussions of the Twins in some episodes. No one minds a passing mention. A deep dive into management changes is for your other podcasts.

I’ve been a Minnesota Vikings fan since 87 86! I was born in St. Paul Minnesota in 1979 but my family is from Peoria Illinois! I love what I hear from these guys about the Vikings! I lived in Minnesota my first 5 years back and forth! These guys know what they talking about and have inside information about the team! They give u details and in depth about the players and team and ownership! They keep it real from my vintage point! I’m a loyal listener for now and the Minnesota Twins locked on Minnesota so far so good

Purple daily is great Viking content, I enjoy listening to it here in the heart of Packer country!

This is the best site for your Viking information. Do they tend to be a little optimistic or even a little harsh about the Purple sure they do. But dude they are flat out the most realistic and well informed bar none. Five stars

Good podcast in season when there are games to talk about. Otherwise too much contrived content simply to fill time.

The amount of ads on this show is insane. This is a podcast, not network radio. Jeez! I listen to tons of casts and no other one plays this many ads. Now with that said, the guys are great, the content is great and I’m addicted to it. Thanks God for the skip forward button.

I love the show I listen to it daily. Great content, but you guys need to step up the production a little. Your voice volume is so low that it causes me to turn up the volume, and then when you cut to a commercial the commercial is blaring forcing me to turn the volume down as quick as possible. Then I have to turn it back up when you return from commercial. That’s my only complaint. SKOL!

Amazing source of Viking content throughout the year. The icing on the top is the content they provide during the off season. Being the Vikings are a smaller market team it’s not easy to get the latest day to day news from the larger national media outlets, so they’re a big help in navigating all the day to day updates during this time. Keep it up gang! SKOL!

Repetitive, and vindictive and negative. All they talk about is trashing cousins.

Love these guys. They bring fun takes on the Vikings while also being realistic and unafraid to criticize the team where it is due. It’s refreshing to hear their takes on the purple. Skol!

If only someone would take away the button board from Phil, who obviously dreams of being Paul Allen’s producer considering how often he plays FOOTBALL. Judd, get your thoughts together before speaking. Going for four straight minutes to make a point that could be said in one is annoying.

You won’t agree with everything and sure, it gets repetitive at times but: like any Vikings football fan this team has only one goal. See Vikes host Lombardi. Good intel, charismatic trio and classic hits.

I used to love this podcast but it’s hard to listen to anymore with all the commercials.

I’m an NFL fan without a team. I moved to Minneapolis in March and a friend put me on to y’all and now I’m a Viks fan and a PD fan for life. SKOL! Wave the flag JUD!

This is a fun podcast: they bring in listeners twice a week to express their feelings after each game and to make predictions for each upcoming game, and they have created a fun and active community of listeners. The problem is that most of the fans they bring in have learned the game from this podcast, and the hosts of this podcast don’t have a very deep understanding of the game, nor do they have very deep understanding of statistics or the economics of the game. If you’re looking for a Vikings podcast that will help you learn the game at a deeper level, there are much better options. But if you want a support group after a tough loss, this is the place for you.

Greatest Vikings podcast I’ve ever listened to!! Judd, Declan and Mackey are a perfect blend of generations and opinions! (One critique…on BID, Ross needs to talk less. It’s promoted as “BID with Judd and Jesse” yet Ross monopolizes the conversation.

Love keeping caught up on my Vikings news while working in Tokyo. Any inside news on how JJ’s recovery is going. Hoping he’s back in 4 rather than 6 or more weeks!

The ultimate Irish good night can only occur when you are the host of a small gathering in your home. Maybe your spouse and friends are really warming up at 9:00 you have had one too many or one too few and you are just not feeling it. You clearly have an obligation to stay up and host, but…enter the ultimate Irish good night. 1st get up clear the table as you go and return with another round of drinks for your spouse and guests and ensure additional rounds are closely accessible to the group (ie bring an open bottle of wine/bourbon to the table). You can’t pull this off if the group is sober. Pro-tip, make sure no spouse dependent games are accessible. 2) Announce that you have to take care of a mundane task, that will not raise an objection from your spouse (feed the dogs, check on the kids, etc.). Be gone for ten-15 minutes. This is long enough for conversation to carry on without you. Return with another open bottle of wine. If asked what took so long indicate that you had to check the score but don’t say of what 3) Do not vigorously rejoin the conversation, You want to be forgettable at this moment. You have already begun to establish your absence. Wait 5-10 minutes then get up without announcing what you are doing. (a) If you aren’t questioned, the group is primed for your ultimate Irish good night and slip off to your bed. (b) If you are questioned, say you are going to the bathroom, be gone 10-12 minutes, return with another open bottle, repeat 3). A successful attempt will get you 3-5 excuses from the group when people randomly notice your absence, that quickly and effective stop the inquiry (he went to feed the dogs, he’s checking on the kids, he went to the bathroom, he’s cleaning up dinner, he’s checking the game, etc.) even though you have been in bed for an hour.

I literally watch or listen to every episode SKOR North produces. Being a smaller market our teams never get enough coverage and now I get as much as I want.

The pod that I listened to wandered aimlessly while the hosts seemed to wait for another to speak. No direction, not much energy. Disinterested.

I’ve been listening to these two clowns since the KSTP days and never would miss an episode but the commercials and sponsors have gotten to the point of ridiculousness… I might listen to an episode a week, if that…

This is my favorite podcast as a Vikings fan based in California. It’s fun, thought-provoking, and gives me a sense of community from afar.

This is a great place to get MN Vikings content. I don’t understand the negative reviews. The purple Daily crew does what should be expected from folks running a podcast. It’s all about takes, using some sort of grounds for that take, and discussing it. In the grand scheme, all podcasts are speculative in nature to an extent. If it’s not what you’re into, go hide in a hole until the season is over so you can reflect on it. If you’re looking for takes with great guests, fun content, and MN Vikings news. This is the podcast for you. Keep creating content for people like me, a guy stationed in GA, looking for daily MN Vikings news to consume. Thanks!
