Mappel3Great podcast!Love this pod. Juan’s work on the topics is great, and I appreciate that it feels like h is working through the issues with us, he’s not lecturing about Masonry, he is living it with us.

JORDON HAN5 stars & a sincere Thank YouI can point at the door, but you have to open it. This podcast is one of those many doors in life. Bring value to yourself and value what you hear. This podcast truly changes lives for better, whether you are a Mason or not. These are jewels being dropped... old ancient jewels.

Didier #1 VisaWowThis is the first “Winding Stairs” podcast I have listened to. For my first experience, I chose the episode where Bro. Chris Hodapp was interviewed about the One-Day Class. I chose this episode for two reasons: first, I almost signed up for a one-day class by mistake. I thought I was signing up for an introduction to Freemasonry - granted, it seemed a little long for an intro, but what did I know? - but a friend discouraged me from going that route, when he explained to me what it was really about. I agreed right away that I would be better off going the traditional route. Secondly, this episode features Brother Hodapp whose book _Freemasons for Dummies_ was the first one I read about Masonry. I further had a brief but funny (for me anyway) encounter with the brother, during which he gifted me with his latest book _Heritage Endures_. I do not know many famous Masons, but I knew (of) Chris, and I had already come to appreciate his extensive knowledge of Masonry and his wry sense of humor. I was not disappointed. Not only did I get very quickly a larger perspective on the why and the how of the [in]famous one-day class; I was also thrown into the heart of the challenge that I will be facing in less than a month, when I undergo my Master Mason Degree (2/27/2018), God willing. What I got out of this podcast is that if it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a Mason - any Mason - to shape the Lodge, and that if I want something to happen in my Lodge, I’d better be prepared to contribute to its development rather than wait for the officers to make it happen for me. To paraphrase JFK's famous quote from his 1961 inaugural address: “Ask not what your Lodge can do for you, ask what you can do for your Lodge.” If all these podcasts are as enlightening as this one has been, I’m going to be a fan. Not only did I get the historical context for the one-day class, I also received the best advice on what to do next and how to contribute to the welfare of my Lodge as well as my own, through the brotherhood. Congratulations to both the interviewer and the interviewee for a job well done. I can’t wait to meet you on the other side of my Master Mason Degree.

Tim DahlmanExcellent PodcastThis is among the best Masonic podcasts out there. There are three things that I really like about this podcast. The content, the music choice & blend, and the schedule. The topics chosen are timeless & not agenda driven. The music selection matches the topic & helps to create a peaceful atmosphere but is not overpowering. Finally the schedule. The podcasts come out on a consistent & regular but not too frequent of a schedule so, as a result they never sound forced and it seems like this podcast will survive for a long time. Keep up the great work!!!

DrSketchConstant improvementListening to this show, you can't help but find yourself improving as a man and Mason. My only complaint (if it counts as a complaint) is that I want to get more in-depth on the topics, even if it means a podcast that is over an hour long...
-
Mr. Cleverinteresting freemason infoFound this while looking for information about Freemansonry. Good stuff, even for non-masons like me.
-
LclaI am hooked...Juan explains things so well, he is extremely well spoken and you can tell that he puts forth a great deal of effort to deliver such a premium product. He hits on topics that need clarification to many newer Masons, such as myself, and is appropriate for even non-Masons. Anyone can benefit from this and I am very pleased thus far with his podcasts... -Bro. Gerald E.
