Doug and KateWow! Asprey/Brecka Master classI’ve been on my healing journey for five years. I’ve read over 140 books on cellular healing and biohacking and follow the podcasts of both Asprey and Brecka for years. This two-part interview is the best. Well done, gents.
-
Heidi431Sounds smug and just trying to sell you stuffHost talks over guests and it’s annoying. Many of the episodes are just long commercials.
-
michaelthomascallahanToo nicheNot for me. Way too in the weeds, and the host comes across as elite.
-
appifyyyyGreat podcastLong time follower and avid biohacker myself. The more I become entrenched in biohacking, the more open minded, curious and spiritual I become. The episode with the Carson’s was a great listen and it’s refreshing to see someone with such a scientific mind be not only open to these discussions, but also heavily involved.
-
UtahpiaDr BThank you Dave! As always you bring the most incredible insights. Dr Barry Morguelan rounds out another amazing practice that I will be implementing into my life. 🙏 Again, thank you both!
-
Zed8257Not a good hostInteresting guests on the show that I’d definitely come back to listen to, but awful host. Started with the Bryan Johnson episode and I agree with other reviews Dave is so disrespectful and does a terrible job of asking vulnerable questions, I was uncomfortable listening to it.
-
KaitlinBeManifestingInteresting Science paired either a touch of humorHighly recommend! Dave has a very entertaining way of presenting science around many different areas of our metabolism and longevity while also interjecting his dry humor throughout each episode.

While PostSnake oilBig Wellness enters its smug phase.
-
andreawammackRyan Holiday showIt’s hard to take courage advice from someone who would have you forced to take a vaccine because he thought it was the courageous and right thing to do. Slippery slope if we don’t all know the same facts. He’s a bit tyrannical in his approach I will say. Doesn’t seem very stoic when you actually get him talking
-
Hoochie84UnsureListened to the Siggi interview on liver health, & it wound up being an infomercial on their products. So not sure yet of the ulterior motive here?
-
smacko11He’s a fraud…Can’t take more than a few minutes of this guy’s voice, tone and demeanor. He’s insufferable and know-it-all who is constantly disrespectful to his guests…
-
PrincessPeach81DisappointedI listened to the interview with Bryan Johnson, where Dave asks him if he’s a nerd and repeatedly bullies him into a corner about being “neurodivergent”. He definitely missed Bryan’s whole point. But I don’t know what I was expecting from someone who claims they “cured” their own Asperger’s syndrome.
-
JustatexterKavaJust enjoyed this episode and placed orders. Love all Dave’s episodes. I am learning so much.
-
4jenzoAlgae Episode 1213Love you for years, Dave! Thank you for all you have done for alternative health. But have to say that after this one, I'm confused. You taught me years ago that the fatty acids, beta carotene, b vitamins, etc that are present in algae are not easily absorbed and converted by some people to their utilizable forms. Best to feed the algae to cows, then eat the cows. I'm surprised you let her rattle off her sales pitch, even when she mentioned cows farts and global warming-whaaaat?!?!? You debunked that years ago yet didn't push back. Stay on em, Dave!
-
VanessainNYCHost Gets in His Own WayThe show is very interesting, the guests are very interesting, these podcasts offer so much cutting edge knowledgeable, but the host has a very fragile ego and it’s exhausting to listen to him at times. He has a vendetta towards Peter Attia. He’s sometimes antagonistic towards guests. Why?
-
SexNutritionDoctorSolid, Entertaining Info!Great stuff. Check it out!

chelbellwellEpisode 1194Amazing story! Thanks for providing as always the best content.

lakelady16The Best Most worthwhile PodcastI have been listening to this podcast for more years than I can count and I always learn something new every episode! Dave is kind and intelligent and brings on the most thought provoking guests full of insightful information. I will keep listening for as long as Dave has podcasts!
-
PMJ2323Terrible InterviewerPodcast has so much potential, but doesn’t ask good questions and can’t stay on track. No flow, always off topic and unorganized. Has such great people on, but doesn’t ever get to the point of the subject.
-
Slumlord 17Best infoLove this show Smart guests Cutting edge idea No add interruptions!
-
BozieOzzieEvery show is trying to sell you something. As the title says, every show either the author or the guest for both are trying to sell you something. Take everything with a grain of salt. They’re not backing up their claims with good research. They’re taking small studies, sometimes not even in humans, and making huge claims that just isn’t supported by the data. I was really looking for a fresh perspective, the one that is evidence based. One thing, however, we can all agree upon is that processed foods in the American diet is harmful.
-
weeded outSome Major Snake Oil ShillsNot sure if he gets kickbacks from certain guests or what but a lot of these personalities/products are curiously bereft of any valid patents or data, yet presented as “experts in the field.” Rich people promoting rich people’s vanity projects ?
-
Rachel3601I can’t take the self promotionI find this podcast pretty informative but I’m listening to learn from the people mr asprey is interviewing. Instead, you mostly hear mr asprey talking about himself, pimping his products, and commandeering the whole podcast. If you count all his sentences in a podcast, I guarantee that he talks twice as much as the person he’s interviewing. This seems to be a common theme among the popular podcasters lately. I’m just not listening to it anymore.
-
palakiniDerogatoryI’m a nutritionist with a a MS in nutrition science. I practice functional nutrition and I am very turned off about your generalized derogatory comments about dietitians. Very Trumpesque! Poor taste. Hard to listen to what you ‘might’ have to say that could have to say with merit.
-
DaveAspreyOnlyWantsYourMoneyGo elsewhereThere are way more qualified, way less shilly providers of information out there. I don’t know how to stop seeing this podcast in my feed, so perhaps this review will convince Apple to show me something more worth my time.
-
Leanne JillCouldn’t get through itI wish he wasn’t so condescending and arrogant. Had to turn it off after 5 minutes. Was so excited to learn more but just couldn’t get through him interrupting guests with uncomfortable not funny remarks.

Nana4170Overhaul the American food and pharma system.Let’s put all the blame on the food and pharma. Yes they definitely have a role in the declining health of the US. I am speaking as a 75 year old woman who was overweight and pre diabetic at 60. I wasn’t wealthy or do I have a college degree but I had the desire to live longer and be healthy. I have an iPhone with a world of knowledge. I researched and experimented with different diets and soaked in new studies on longevity. Within about 6 months I had lost the weight and was no longer pre-diabetic and am metabolic healthy. Today I have a diet of grass fed beef, pasture eggs and butter etc. No grains or seed oils. Love cooking my nutritious food. I have gently tried to give the info to family and friends some take advice and others refuse to give up their highly processed food. Instead of 100% blame on food and pharma why not some percentage on personal responsibility. FYI couldn’t listen to promoting conspiracy theorists or a lying criminal. Food industry and pharma didn't change I did!!
-
insidemovesTomatis sound therapyGreat interview. I do sound therapy called Tomatis. I think you know what that is. We hear through both air and bone and when you talk inn-an embodied way your receiver can hear through both ear and bone. Read Dr Tomatis' book the conscious ear
-
tanyaBKAwesome podcastBefore I dived in, I red some reviews and almost didn’t go through with this podcast, but I’m so happy I did in the end cause I can’t stop listening! I thought Dave was arrogant but it’s not that, it’s more like a Charisse’s with dry sense of sarcasm, which I like a lot. And the guests are great! Glad I kept listening as it’s a ton of great info
-
3rdLIf you’re ready, you’ve landed ...Dave’s style is the absolute best in my podcast listening world (7 years total) I’ve watch the Bulletproof brand get stronger year after year. Dave is brilliant at so many things and thank God he is in this space where we need him. I have gotten immense knowledge from his BP podcast, and now this one which is my go-to for Upgrading my biology. Dave is selective and sets very admirable standards for all of the pieces that make up his bio-hacking endeavors. I have often used his style of integrity as a margin when researching practitioners and products. If you have been in search of this optimal self transformation and human up-leveling, get ready, you’ve landed. ~Lisette, Las Vegas✨
-
Tizzy111wwwUnbearableI used to listen to this all the time but Dave’s level of condescension and arrogance makes it unbearable. Was excited to hear his most recent episode with Jessie Inchauspe and literally had to turn it off within the first 10 minutes. I’ll listen to her content on podcasts whose hosts allow her to actually speak without interrupting her every third word.
-
dgustnerWearySo weary of hearing this brilliant biohacker telling vegans they need to see the error of their ways. I am 76 years old and have been vegan for 45 years. I have no chronic disease, no joint pain, no lack of energy. I take no prescription drugs or even over the counter drugs. The last time I was hospitalized was 70 years ago. Last saw an MD over ten years ago. Yet, according to Asprey, I should be severely ill if not dead. The man is obsessed with being right instead of being open to new information if it happens to conflict with his previous assumptions.
-
aprilbeeRNCondescending to female guestsI have listened to Dave before and have bought his products and appreciate the information he shares. After listening to part of the episode with Maggie Berghoff, I will never listen again. I can’t imagine how someone could be so disrespectful and laugh about it.
-
Unity357Easy to understandI have really enjoyed Dave’s series on Gaia and I find him very easy to listen to and easy to understand. With such in-depth knowledge he also allows his guests to speak. I consider him a honorary doctor in the field of human science and this is an area all humans should explore and self educate.
-
Melinda82785No emotional IntelligenceAdvice you need to hear: focus more on being interested and less on trying to be interesting. Elitist, condescending, constant need to “prove” he knows more than a guest. Pay attention - his goal isn’t to inform his goal is to sell you something.
-
radsummerInteract with listenersIt would be nice if Dave Asprey took questions from listeners or provided some kind of a back and forth option with people. Is there a forum anywhere that I might have missed? It all seems very one sided. I just bought something recommended on his show, and while I understand there is good research backing it up, there is also a warning on the bottle for reproductive health- something he did not mention or discuss at all. Also, a lot of the supplements recommended by his show contain other ingredients that might already be taken by listeners, so he also never talks about combining things with what one is already taking. I just wish there was more of a dialogue with listeners if he really wants to be taken more seriously and respectfully. Does anyone know if I can send questions somewhere? Or is this all brushed off under the “sorry not a doctor warning” ?
-
LkjhagWould love more accessible solutionsThis podcast feels elitist. Yes I have only listened to one episode, but it seems that a lot of the information while it is very great and enlightening doesn’t seem applicable to those with certain limitations in their finances and access to certain cares. I left this feeling like there was no solution to the things that I just learned about.
-
Jthe Gentsome helpful information if you can wade through his egodave should let his guests talk more. he is beyond annoying with his opinions. some are here for facts or different perspectives, even if we don't agree.
-
cfsmilesVery informative but….Great content and guests but Dave always interrupts and makes it about him.
-
biointelthanks DaveSimply the best in the field of biotech enlightenment much gratitude to a pioneer in the frontier of human wellness. Perhaps the best source of information I have found.
-
Fitnessnut 62Love these podcastsJust listened to Dave and Elle Russ. So informative- I always enjoy Dave’s content.
-
Happy🤪girlMy favorite podcast by a mileCutting edge health info, broken down so it’s understandable, interesting and includes actionable items. I am truly grateful to Dave Asprey for this as well as his perspective on health, longevity and so many important issues of our environment. Now I’ve become that dorky person, always saying “I have a podcast for that!” So glad I found this !!! 😍🙏🏼😃
-
kbryson1Super DaveI always learn something new each time I listen to this podcast.
-
TLWhiskers24Great infoDave is the Elon Musk of bio hacking.
-
miley_cyrus_luvarAnti veganHe makes a full of himself when talking about veganism! Makes me doubt his knowledge about other things!
-
BP WriterFantastic host, consistently great content and guests!Came across the Human Upgrade podcast and am loving it! Especially enjoyed the episode about how breast implants can compromise your health and make you sick with Austin-based Dr. Robert Whitfield. This conversation was so candid, transparent, and moving! So many important takeaways! Can’t wait to listen to more episodes! Thank you!
-
tomrunsearthI’ve been hacked!Hi, my name is Tommy Taylor and I have become a Hack-Aholic ever since my first sip of the Bullet Proof world. I now have over 1,300 hours of Dave in my brain. Mr. Asprey has spent countless hours, funds, and self experiments to achieve maximum performance from a human body. Let’s face it, we were created as pretty awesome creatures-with biological flaws. Such as computers were created with flaws that allow an outside source (viruses) to change the outcome of what it was programmed to compute. In short, he found a way to hack our biological flaws with nutrition, light, bi-feedback and knowledge of the amazing available resources (as well as the ones to avoid) this planet has a lot to offer a mere human to perform at it’s maximum potential. Cheers! Tommy Taylor Hack-Aholic, Ultra-runner, Ironman, surfer, grandfather of four.

joanne@redwoodshoreGreat podcast. Very educational and inspirationalThis is my favorite podcast for years. After reading the Super Human book, I started to listen to this pod regularly and bought supplements with discounts. They are very helpful to me. Thank you 🙏

garth1kMsSSSWhy do you feel you have to ‘One Up’ everyone of you guests? This is not a competition!
