    Great Information-No Fluff
Just discovered this podcast, and so far I’m really impressed. Appreciate that the content presented is straight forward, solid, science-backed information - with zero fluff. I’ve listened to countless Podcasters waste air time (and my time) with breezy chitchat. Thank you Chris Kresser for being the “health detective” and giving your followers truly excellent information and a great listening experience.

    Great podcast, great content
Came across the Revolution Health Radio and really enjoying it! Appreciated the episode with Dr. Mark Hyman about understanding the root cause of longevity and the simple things we can do to remain healthy as we age. Love it!
I have listened to many health podcasts, and I keep coming back to you! I love how you explain things with a level head, giving evidence to back it up. So many times people’s passion gets in the way of logical thinking, causing them to stop asking important questions where the answer may disprove their own personal beliefs. I don’t need to be in a fad diet, I just want to know what is healthy, and what isn’t for my family. Thanks again for all your research and effort put into this podcast.

    Great information
Fantastic information on this podcast. Definitely a go-to for me every week. Keep doing what you do Chris!

    Informercial
Been listening to Chris since the beginning. Good health orientated podcast but lately seems to be slipping into infomercial territory. Guests always touting the latest greatest product and now Chris selling his own products and saying you need these products because diet doesn’t cover them $$$. After a decade of listening I’m going to delete and stick with less biased podcasts such as Peter Attia

Thank you for women specific info on intermittent fasting!
Thank you for this topic on intermittent fasting for women. I have struggled with fasting successfully and this info was helpful to understand how to try IF again in a way that will go WITH my female body. I’d be thrilled to see shows that incorporate information for when a woman is pregnant, nursing, and supporting the health of very young children. Thanks again.
  • Frustrating!
    One of the best!
Chris’s podcast is one of the best health podcasts there are. His episodes always contain science based information and he has a great way of breaking down complex topics into digestible knowledge.
  • JosieGRN
    Great and relevant information!
I love this podcast. I especially appreciate the format where Chris breaks down the latest research in easy to understand digestible bites. The explanation of absolute versus relative results was game changing! I’d love to hear more research analysis as well as a review of data regarding wireless devices, particularly ear buds. Thank you so much! Josie

The best for a few reasons
Chris and his team always deliver. His best episodes are those where he breaks down a specific topic (eg. Osteoporosis). They demonstrate his breadth of expertise, command of the research, his willingness to learn or admit past mistakes (no dogma here), provide practical advice (not just “contact your practitioner”), and link to plenty of resources for listeners who want to dig in deeper. This podcast is a goldmine, and Chris is a gifted talent who cares to make the world a healthier, happier, fitter place.

How (And Why) to Build Muscle
Although I like Chris's podcasts, I was disappointed in this one with Mike Matthews for two reasons: 1) I can't believe that it is almost 2022 and podcast guests are still touting whole grains and calorie counting. Views like that keep the US the fattest, laziest country in the world, as evidenced by the fact that we lead the world in obesity and diabetes. Counting calories doesn't work, as people have gained weight eating 1,000 calories per day if they eat the wrong foods. To paraphrase an old saying: It's the insulin stupid. 2) He never really explained how to build muscle, the title of the episode, other than to work against resistance (and to buy his book). I disagree that to gain strength, a person needs to work out for 45 minutes multiple times a week, when studies have shown that benefits can be achieved in half that amount of time. In a society where we have trouble getting most Americans to engage in ANY movement, I fear that 45 minutes several times a week will deter most people from starting an exercise program at all.

    Great show…until
I have enjoyed this show. The episodes are full of scientific information about health. However, the episode on sulforaphane (July 6 2021) is essentially an infomercial on the sly. The 52 minute episode begins with about 40 minutes of scientific information and culminates with a conclusion that there is only one product on the market that will provide this compound in a reliable bioavailable form, and that you can get a discount using his code. I was so disappointed. There is clear financial bias that is not disclosed. The information was interesting, and I understand that you have to pay the rent, but you should be transparent. The previous episode on glyphosate was also very interesting. But not I see it as a precursor to this episode, and therefore has the bias of financial interest. One of the limitations of listening to podcasts. Very disappointing. You lost some credibility with me. So sorry.

    Great Podcast
This is my new go-to podcast for health and wellness. My only complaint is that the audio could be better

    Thank you
I became a fan of Chris after seeing him on Joe Rogan for the Game Changers de-bunking and then the debate with James Wilks. Since then I’ve explored his work and I absolutely love this podcast. I can’t stop listening, and am learning so much!
  • Tash_K-C
    Informative, diverse, objective
I have a lot of respect for Chris for the work he’s done. Not only he has a great understanding of nutrition, he always backs up his conclusions with research and scientifically proven data. I like that he raises all kinds of topics, not necessarily food-related, that are more or less connected with healthy lifestyle. I follow his work in general, and podcasts in particular, pretty closely, and I’ve learned a lot.
  • Shotinzenjin
    interedting but
then you realize that just about everyone he talking to has a horse in the money game. Once I saw this I felt that the podcast was well meaning but ultimately very manipulative.

    So Grateful for this!
Your recent episodes with Dr. Gabrielle Lyon on protein and Dr. Kirk Parsley on sleep are both so informative and useful. I’m grateful for you for being the hub that connects the curious mass with these amazing practitioners and their work. As a marathon running mom, I’ve studied much on sleep and protein but for some reason, the explanations here really resonate with me. This info gives listeners simple action items to implement and improve health. Thank you, Chris Kresser!
  • xotouchfaithxo
    Very informative and balanced
Love this podcast so much. The audio needs to be louder!!!! I’m always maxed out volume on my headphones or in my car!! But great content and well presented!
  • Lovalovas
    Measurements
Enjoyed the podcast but when referring to protein you used grams for amounts and plant based protein used cups and ounces. Would be easier to understand amounts if both were contestant.
  • SuperNiebla
Packed with current research and clinical experience
I’ve followed Chris for years and really value his opinion on health. He does a good (not perfect) job of cutting through biases to get to the core of what research says. He knows what works for real people in the real world. He is very smart with an amazing ability to recall information and that gives the podcasts a very nice flow with few tangents or unimportant details. His vocal style is relaxed because he’s focusing on relaying information and not theatrics. He always has a great report with his guests and their exchanges are some of the best I’ve heard in a podcast. His guests are SPECTACULAR, always interesting and just jam-packed with knowledge and experience. I always come away with something that deeply resonates with me and my life. Chris has a deep respect and thorough knowledge of his guests’ work which allows for really nuanced and detailed discussion. I would recommend this podcast to anyone who likes to learn and wants to optimize their health and happiness. My life continues to get better and better as I apply what I’ve learned.

    Keep Fighting Chris
Maybe you should get a DO, or at least a PHD in integrative medicine or nutrition. With your experience and patient hours you should probably already have one. Just so we don’t have hear about your credentials again. You’re more than qualified and I’m very glad you did this most recent episode. The debate really needed to be addressed. Thanks for your work.
  • GoGreen930
Very informative, well researched and enjoyable to listen to!
First I would like to say, saw a review where someone was bothered by Chris’s voice and intonations. I am of the opposite opinion. Chris’s Voice, speech patterns and intonation are such a relief to me as I listen, so calming, reassuring, gentle. And most importantly, his tireless researching of the research, and giving us the true analysis, has led me in may directions to answer my questions. Thank you Chris!!!
  • ReadingInBedWithCats
Terrible audio quality and droning voice
Audio quality is poor. And Chris would benefit from voice training — he speaks in a flat monotone and so is difficult to listen to. He always sounds tired and/or depressed - which are things he proposes he treats with his interventions so the power of his message is dampened. Some good information in podcast but content needs editing and presentation needs refining.
  • Lidda33
    Life changing
I’ve always thought the health and wellness industry was confusing and honestly counterintuitive. After listening to this podcast and other like-minded podcasts, the light has turned on and becoming a healthy person - mind and body -is no longer seemingly impossible. It is evidenced, not only by weight loss, but increased mood and cognitive function. Because of the things I have learned in this podcast, I can now say that I thoroughly enjoy waking up in the morning and excited for a new day. Thank you Chris.
  • emmmylu
    Nice work.
Thank you for examining game changers. I felt that it was so one sided all that info can’t be 100% true. Nothing against vegans, I just don’t think that it is accurately portraying the Information in a way that is fully transparent.
  • Kmdizzle

    Phenomenal Podcast
This is probably one of the best podcasts I’ve heard in awhile. He does a great job of breaking everything down to a basil level so you understand very clearly. Thank you for this postcard! Great listen.

    Game Changers
Don’t remember the peanut butter sandwich reference - which would be unimportant to me because I wouldn’t eat peanut butter. Never understood the negativity between nutrition camps. I thought the movie was about athletic accomplishments without meat consumption? Why can’t we just give credit to athletes regardless of diet? If the issue is environmental or for animal rights then more power to them!

    Some Answers, Many Questions
As usual, a probing and helpful deeper look from C Kresser at an exogenous product that promises to work in synergy with endogenous body systems. BUT, I was left with a sort of helpless sense of “ Here we go again ; I’ve been spending money on a product from top rated companies that isn’t really effective in the form that it is sold; so now I need to start using this new product.” Am I interpreting correctly that the guest is telling us that unless we take CBD products from quality producers like Charlotte’s Web in humongous and astronomically expensive qualities, they aren’t going to work for us? Is everything else on the market useless? I look forward to further clarification because I find this very frustrating.

    Scam?
So i have Loved listening to Chris Kresser but i have also signed up for his adapt academy (the professional membership account i think) and im being charged quarterly for it but have no way to access content and phone calls and emails have not been responded to. Its shaking my faith that he is a good guy and making me fee like what he has built is a total scam. I dony want that to be true! Please return my calls.

    Hashimoto aip podcast
Good podcast to learn about the study they did and the results but don’t understand why you didn’t spend any time explaining what you had the study participants do? We want to learn what we can do to help us as we all can’t be part of a study. There should have been some discussion on what the aip protocol diet is and what else you had them do.
  • Kelsy Marie
    Highly recommend.
I learn so much from this podcast and appreciate the work Chris and his team are doing so much. Health care versus sick care!
