    Decent
Been listening to this for several years. Mildly enjoyable, although Anderson’s deuchebaggery seems to be increasing with age.
  • OnTelephone
    Hey Anderson,
Get off Bryan’s back. Or you guys go to couples therapy and let us listeners have some peace.

A podcast that was a regular radio show.
I’ve been listening to this show about 2 decades now (I think). I know what to expect ans it’s what I get.

    Ummmm
Came here as a fan of Bald Bryan from ACS, miss that dude on the show. This however, is the first time I have listened to this Anderson character. Man, that guy is a lot to take. Love Bryan’s opinions on movies, but this guy feels like he is always whining. And always gives away way to much info when talking about a movie.
  • Typetalk
    Funny and Informative
Been a fan of this show for over a decade. The hosts have great chemistry and banter. Watched quite a few amazing films I would have missed thanks to this podcast. Would love if they would expand into TV Vault someday
  • Kbraidz
    Best Movie podcast.
Great podcast and funny banter. Also Both hosts have great but differing opinion’s on films.

    Brian’s wife?!
I always assumed Christie would have to be some sort of demented leviathan for choosing bald Brian but she sounded delightful—who knew!
  • DisPiperGurl7320
    I’m not a big movie goer, but….
But….this podcast is very good for those that are looking for substantial movie reviews. I discovered this podcast because I’m a fan of the Adam Corolla podcast, and Bryan makes me laugh!

Not your typical movie review show
Not only do they cover newly released movies but what I find extra valuable is how the hosts cover not so well known movies AND even movies that didn’t come out this year. It’s really a great mix of new and old movies as well as blockbusters to smaller projects and/or a documentary films. Not to mention, the hosts have great rapport and bring a little of their everyday lives to personalize the episodes. In an ever growing competitive podcast market, the Film Vault has been here awhile and has really crafted their own style in their two shows a week format.

    This show is amazing
Anderson Cowan knows as much about movies as anyone out there. He and Bryan are very entertaining and I never miss an episode. Highly recommend!!
  • Jeremymcdude
Very fun and informative film podcast
I’ve been listening to TFV for nearly a decade and after so many podcasts have come and gone with my ever evolving interest and tastes TFV has always remained in the top 3-5 rotation. Love the show’s format of Flickfessions followed by a weekly Top Five. Highly recommend this podcast to the film lover who demands substance in their content but also doesn’t want to listen to a condescending diatribe from a latte sipping film snob. Sniff.
  • Mdskywalkr
    Best movie podcast!
I've been with this show since the beginning (one of the many anyways...) and have not stopped listening nor have I looked for any other movie podcast. Nice blend of insider yet approachable discussions on movies and the banter is one of the best on itunes! Keep it up!!

    Best film podcast
Bald Bryan from the Adam Carolla Show and Anderson from Loveline talking about movies. Bryan is silly which usually makes Anderson angry. It’s just a great movie show, they cover all the Big Movies but I have discovered so many great small movies I would have missed if I didn’t listen to The Film Vault.
  • SfsteveG
It’s like hanging at the video store in the 90’s
Anderson and Bryan and their wonderful banter and unique opinions make every movie more fun. This show feels like hanging out with your friends talking about movies.

    Helps Find Quality Movies
I’m a parent of two, so I don’t have the time to watch as many movies as I would like. Anderson helps identify movies I might have missed and Bryan speaks from the average viewer perspective who enjoys big blockbuster films. I’ve listened to this podcast for years and the familiarity with the hosts keeps me listening to this ongoing conversation about movies that I don’t normally get.
  • xXAwNawXx
The Riggs and Murtaugh of movie reviewers
I’ll let you guess who is who, but any listener of the podcast already knows. The podcast is better because of their often clashing perspectives. Bryan holds his own against Anderson often with funny results. Love the podcast and have turned a couple of friends onto it also. Long time listener of Bald Bryan from The Adam Carolla show. 2 thumbs way up on this one.
  • IreneP86
    Love the show!
Great movie podcast, have been listening for many years. Look forward to it every week!
  • New Citizen
    Unearths some great movies
Really like the the two show per week format giving more time for flickfessions. I enjoy Anderson’s taste in movies and have seen some great movies I’d never have seen otherwise. I do wish the guys would listen to each other a bit more though!
  • duncandilly
    Dog water!
This show is dog water! I’ve been listening to this show for years I don’t really like movies this show is dog water! I mean if a dog was wondering out in the desert and found a show like this as an oasis and the beautiful cold Spring water for that dog is this show great job guys keep it up I do very much listen to it every episode going on years now
  • Jjayjharry
Really wanted to like the show
I think Bryan’s great in the show, he was the draw for me to go to the show from the ACS podcast. He seems really insightful with his films and has honest criticisms about films. Anderson’s the reason I’m not listening anymore. He’s annoying, rude to Bryan for no reason, comes off as annoyed at anything Bryan does, and is a bit pompous at times. I’m not sure if he thinks it’s cute or funny, but most of his stuff is a huge turn-off. Wish I could’ve stuck it out, but unfortunately, I’m tapping out.
  • MontanaBruin
    Amazing podcast about movies
Anderson and Bryan are incredible hosts. This podcast is a must for film lovers everywhere.
  • Jae Gaboo
    Carolla’s twin
Turns out the reason Anderson couldn’t get along with Adam all those years on loveline because they’re the same type of intolerable moron. Bryan, you must be a glutton for punishment.

Wonderful movie show. You need both th hosts to make it work. Ying/Yang

Was going to leave a nasty message but, will just stop listening instead. Put up with Anderson’s disgusted, put out attitude toward Bryan for so long that it’s now what the show’s become. -Done

    Great podcast
I really like these two guys. They have given me numerous movie suggestions, and I would never have heard of a lot of them without this podcast. Love listening to this podcast every Friday!
  • AverageJoe1963
    Needs to be shorter
Interesting takes on films, and both Bryan and Anderson have good perspectives, but the valuable content is diluted by all the other banter. This would be fine if the banter was entertaining, but it’s not. Bryan is funny and quick, even under the influence of debilitating medication, but Anderson sprays Roundup on any seed of entertaining discussion before it can take root. Cut the time in half and teach Anderson “yes and”.
  • happeial
Love “hanging out with these guys”
I’m not even a huge movie buff, but I keep listening to this kind of like some people keep watching soap operas. I feel like I know Brian and Anderson now, and I just want to listen to them banter for an hour or two every week.

    Favorite
This is by far my favorite podcast... not just film podcast but podcast in general. I LOVE to disagree with Bryan and mostly agree with Anderson... though vice versa has been knowin to happen on occasion. At this point it feels less like listening to two critics/podcasters discuss films, and more like an active participation of talking about film with buddies. Especially with how active and responsive Anderson is with listener engagement. LOVE TFV
  • I hate movie pass
    Almost unlistenable
Anderson is so concerned with one-upping Bryan it ruins the program. We get it Anderson, you’re a cool guy....I can handle AD but something happens to Anderson when he’s around Bryan. It’s like he had to prove himself on being better than everyone else. Holy crap bro. Stop.
  • TFV Fan
    Anderson
Bryan. You are correct. Anderson is a duche bag. Come on buddy !

    Sanity Now and then
I enjoy these guys and I enjoy them very much. I love the anger they both have and their overwhelming negativity towards somethings. They deserve your love and your focus. In my job I am alone. I mean truly alone. For weeks at a time with no connection to the internet. I have a quickly growing family of podcasts that I consider each and everyone of the creators to be my friend. Truly great to spend time with these fellas
  • foxends
    Decent
Decent show with some good discussion but I can’t help but be turned off by Anderson’s insults and remarks.
  • Julie-Casey
    The best movie review podcast
I have been listening to this podcast for many years and I love it. They review not only the mainstream movies but also the smaller, hidden gemshe, and they are hysterical. Anderson has so much knowledge and insight into how movies are made and Byran is a funny sidekick. Thanks guys for still showing up. And special thanks to Logan for holding it all together.
  • aceonweb
It's a must listen on friday
Been listening since the orange couch. Great chemistry between these two, but not in the traditional sense. Also get some pretty great suggestions on movies to check out that I might have missed.

    Longtime Listener
The Film Vault is my go to source for everything movie related. It took me awhile to warm-up to Anderson, but now I real enjoy his banter with the Bald One. Good luck with Groupers man! Can't wait to watch it. However, I would like Anderson to chill though and let the show breathe. I enjoy hearing both positive and negative reviews of movies. I'm in no hurry to turn the show off, why does it seem like you are at times?

    Thanks guys
Love seeing my podcast feed updated with the Film Vault on Friday morning. With 2 kids under 3 and not much time to watch movies, this podcast helps me keep up with what’s good out there. I don’t have to worry about wasting my time with movies I thought looked good, but disappointed me in the end. Thanks guys for a helping me invest my time on movies that are worth seeing and appreciating!

Bryan and Anderson cant get enough of themselves (neither can I)
Great to listen to two men with vanity issues disagree on every issue just to reinforce the validity of them having an opinion. The movie discussions are interesting too. Best film podcast by a mile!
