I took a listen and what a waste of time it’s garbage it’s not funny it’s like that group of morons everyone disliked in high school sitting around and ripping on everyone and everything and listing it as improv being tasteless and mean isn’t funny I kinda want the time back I wasted even checking this out

Despite turning into a mostly tedious listen where Jeff is the only funny one, Jim has turned into Mike, and Mike turned into Joe Berry, it still occasionally makes me laugh (whenever Jim doesn’t immediately step on whatever Jeff is trying to say), and can sometimes trick me into feeling like I’m listening back when the show didn’t revolve around Jim and Mike jerking off about manchild nonsense. Give Opie & Them a listen if you’re out of options.

Like the title says this is my favorite podcast I have been listening for years and have not yet written a review. (I’m sure this is the part some one most likely Jeff will make a remark about this.) The reason being I like many other goons want to leave a fun and funny review to be apart of the show and I was always worried that I couldn’t make one funny enough to make the boys laugh and it hit me one day just make a review about the show and why it’s great and don’t try to be funny. So here we go. Jim and Them is a unique look into the world we live in from the perspective of 3 of the best dudes. It had many past host that also made this show great, Yes even you Joe Berry. However the core three now have a charismatic connection that isn’t easy to find think I’m wrong try to talk to anyone for 3-4 straight hours without getting bored or running out of things to say. My favorite part of the show is usually right after the intros and right before the show actually starts we’re usually the boys will just joke around and make each other laugh for about the first 5 minutes this goes over looked and really sets the pace of the show that it’s going to be a good fun time. More about the show! The show will dive in to many subjects and internet trends along with pop culture though if your looking for the same boring takes already given to you by TMZ, your snap chat stories, Twitter trending, and TV you will not get that here they will find a different angle and take that no one else in the world will find while making it hilarious. No matter what the subject they will dive in with open eyes to all angles even the “villain” side in many cases discovering before any news outlets that sometimes the hero’s are the bad guys and the bad guys were wrongly accused. I want to end this by saying I truly love these guys I know more about them due to them all showing so much of themselves to everyone that listens. I feel I know them more then 90% of my actual family. Their voices are always there to pick you up no matter what’s going on in your life. I have real life memories with these men that will last forever finding them was one of the greatest things that has ever happened to me and to you if you give the show a chance. Love you all never change what you do.

About darn time. I finally reviewed a podcast that I have listened to for three years. I whole-heartedly reccomend this group for the romps, the goofs, the bits, and the charm it brings every Friday night. If you subscribe to the Patreon, the entertainment backlogs stretch back to an ALMOST infinite bounty of hours, nigh days, nigh weeks worth of content. How was that guys? I wrote this just before bedtime at 7 am, so I am going to sleep with the soothing voices of Jim.....and Them lulling me in my dreams. -Acemasterke

Any podcast that I've listened to for over a decade must be doing something right. I started listening in April 2010. It quickly became the favorite podcast in my rotation. The Jim and Them crew has been there every Friday to provide hours of live entertainment and their archive literally has thousands of hours of shows waiting to be discovered. This is specifically for Mike because I know he likes these. If Jim and Them were X-Men characters Jim would be Professor X. He had the vision for the show and continues to lead the way week after week. Mike would be Cyclops. The steady right hand man of Professor X always there to support when needed and never wavering in his belief in the dream. Jeff would be Wolverine. A little rough around the edges, but is often the heart of the team. Jake would be Jean Grey. An OG member that died a long time ago, but still shows up from time to time. Joe Berry would be Thunderbird. Was only with us for a short time and most don't even remember who he is. I couldn't come up with one for Kristin, but I wish she was still on the show.

Let's reset the stage...My last review was in 2018 when I found out I was getting divorced I talked about how Jim and Them is a podcast that heals by helping you laugh through the pain. In March/April of 2019, I was forced to sell my house and move in with my sister, but I wasn't alone because not too much long later, Jeff had a similar incident that I could relate to, in which he was forced to move back home; however, even through that, he kept on joking and making me laugh which allowed me to keep moving foreward. Later on, around the same time I was having trouble at work. Mike had issues with his job as, but kept pushing through until he found something better and that optomism was infectionous. Mike and Jeff, along with my therapist, helped me clear my head and work my issues with my job AND GET A 5K RAISE! Here we are a few months later and I've bough a super banging condo next to the bar that I like to visit (shout out to Jeff for the new pad too!)...also got a new gf. Thank you guys for sharing your lives with me/us and being so relatable, even though at times black culture goes over your heads lol but that's ok. Keep this up, I don't think you guys know how much the consistency your provide for people out there. Even when you guys are dealing with your own trauma and issues (special shout out to you Jim), you take time to lift us out of ours and be human with us. Appreciate it and keep it up! Jim and Them is for the humans!

This cast of characters is bulging at the seams with charisma. No matter who you are, you will have a hard time not falling in love with this amazing show and the brilliant minds who put it together. The only drawback to listening to this show is that it makes it impossible to try to listen to any other podcast. They are pioneers in the podcast game and don’t get nearly enough praise. If this doesn’t convince you to delve into the archives and appreciate the magic they’ve made, then I suggest you give them a listen and allow them to convince you themselves.

Great podcast. Quality comedy. If jim and them were characters from the Big Lebowski. Jeff would be the Big Lebowski, cause the pot. Mike would be Ronnie, they have that same ashes in a cofee can vibe. Jim would be Jackie Treehorn on account of his huge member. And Mike would be Mr. Lebowski, i can imagine him justifying crying by saying, "real men cry too". I've been listening to Jim and Them since before episode 300 i remember that was my first power hour sophomore year of high school, and Jim and them has gotten me through so many hours of my life. Theyre able to keep me entertained driving across states and even though over the years ive stopped listening live, Jim and them has maintained their peak in comedy gold. Glad yall made it to 600 and helping me remember what month it is.

My friend has been trying to get me to listen to this show for years. Lately, my work schedule has changed, and now I have time to listen to more podcasts, so I gave this one a chance. I wish I started listening to this show when my friend first suggested it to me because the recent episodes are really hit and miss. The old episodes I've listened too on the Jim and Them website are way better and funnier than the recent ones on the feed. Honestly, the only good part of the recent episodes are the commentaries. They tend to be really funny. The only downfall is that when I try to go to the Twitch channel and watch the videos as the show commentates, I have to be subscribed to watch it. Idk if this is a twitch thing or a Jim and Them thing, but either way, it's annoying. I think if this show were to put up the video commentaries from the show on youtube, they would probably blow up because they are genuinely the best part. The host Jim is probably one of the best podcast hosts I've ever heard. He is the best at telling stories and explaining stuff to his cohosts. I would listen to a full episode of just him. If you arent really feeling this show, I would suggest that you listen to any random episode pre-2016.

It’s alright

I've been a fan of these guys for a couple of years now and I think the reason this show stuck with me, aside from the antics and the ever funny banter between the hosts, is because of the scope of this show. Ranging from movies, to games, obscure hip hop beefs, the depths of some weird video on youtube and beyond, Jim and Them goes there like none other would! Long gone are the days you'll be bored out of your mind looking for great content after you hop on board with JaT. Just listen to a couple of shows, they have more than 600 under their belt (and that's not even counting the sheer amount of content they put out as bonus shows for the Patreon)! And if you're still not sure then give them a couple of months. They'll grow on you. The show has a nice and approachable community too, so make sure you tune in on Fridays 7pm PST for their live show now on twitch and send a hello! You seriously won't regret it.

If Jim and Them were Spiderman villains: Kristin would be Norman Osbourne/Green Goblin because to most of the public she puts up the front of being a kind, spotless person, but behind the scenes she is as wicked as the rest of the Faygo Five. Jake would be Mysterio obviously because of his longing to be a big star, and the great illusion he pulled on all of us, making us think he cared, then vanishing overnight in a puff of smoke. Jeff would be Herman Schultz, because he is by far the most shocking member, and wears the flyest gear. Mike would be Venom because apparently if you get too close to him he will form a symbiotic relationship with you, and hes many peoples favorite! Jim, the leader of the Faygo Five, would be Doc Ock. A master of technology, and a genius who coordinates the rest of the team, he's always plotting the next move. Disreguard everything before this, the four other members are each one of his mechanical tentacles, which he wields with deadly precision on his quest for ultimate power. Will the Faygo Five succeed in their goal of ending the hero's lives??? Find out next week when the bad guys team up against Spiderman (Chris Hardwick with Jimmy Fallon's mind trapped within him), Miles Morales (Will Smith), and Spiderwoman (Busy Philips). OGUSELIOR TRUE GOONS!!!

After listening to all the podcasts available on iTunes and watching all the specials on YouTube, I can finally do my part and leave a review! This is not just one of the best podcasts I’ve ever heard, but also one of the best forms of entertainment I’ve ever come across! Jim and Them provide constant hilarity in literally every episode! This great cast of people can make literally anything funny. I constantly find myself actually laughing out loud when listening and thoroughly enjoy every second! These guys should be so much bigger than they are! Truly some of the funniest individuals I’ve ever heard. I suppose all that’s left to do is make a Patreon and subscribe because I just can’t get enough Jim and Them!

I would listen to Jim & Them all the time while driving for Uber! So much time, so many episodes; but, when passengers would get into my car, they would ask me to turn it off. Did I? NO! I just turned it down a couple notches. I got constant reviews saying, “he wouldn’t turn off his offensive talk radio,” but it’s not offensive. They’re all just sensitive. Apparently, enough 2-3 star reviews and a couple ‘warnings’ from Uber, you get fired. In short, I drive for Door Dash now, so I can listen to them as much as I want! Totally worth it!!

I walked into a grocery store, all swagged out with my Jim and Them t-shirt, wristbands and stickers. Get an inquisitive look from the manager as I move past the registers. Walked to the back, pluggled in my device to play epiosde 259 part 2: Westminster TITAN FOOTBALL over the store’s speakers. Then proceeded to grocery shop. Manager comes up to me: "I saw you go back there". Me: "yeah whats it to you"? Manager: "I'm.......a fan too"! We then went to the back and made sweet music. I already know this is obvious, but she was a woman and clearly she was smoking HAWT. #ThatHappened There isn't enough space or time to go through all the epic moments this podcast has given me. These guys and lady are hilarious, they give you an unbelieve range of comedy. Since I'm mainly a noob podcast listener I would recommend starting the long glorious journey from episode 1. As Stephen King said, "It’s not about the destination it’s about the journey". I currently have made it through over 450 episodes and haven't regretted a moment of the spell binding hysterical comedy that is Jim and Them. After episode 5 you become hooked. What can I say, this show is amazing and hilarious! I don’t know how many times my stomach has hurt from laughing so hard at these shows. This show is the greatest thing I ever came across on youtube! If you don’t tune in to this show your straight garbage!

This is a great podcast! These guys and gal are awesomely entertaining! They talk about anything and everything that’s going on in the world and may even let you know about things going on in your city that even you didn’t know was happening. Lots of great content and if you don’t think so then you stupid and lose at the game of life!

If Jim and Them were Mass Effect Characters: Jim - Jim would obviously be Commander Sheppard. He is the lifeblood of our community and our fearless leader. He used to be a loose cannon renegade but has lately calmed down into Suburban Paradigm Jim. Also it goes without saying but since he is a champion of the victims of the straight white patriarchy, he would be a trans black femshep. Mike - Mike would be Kaidan, because Mike is gay. In all seriousness, Mike would be Garrus because he seems like a loyal friend, and if you ever went to go shoot targets at laser tag with him, you would probably let him win. Jeff - Jeff would be Ashley, because he is a huge racist. Unlike Ashley however, I would save Jeff over Kaidan. Kristin - Kristin would be Tali because her and her family live nomadically among the stars in a ghetto space fleet fighting the unstoppable advanced A.I. race they created. Also because she is my Kawaiifu. Jake - Jake would be Urdnot Wrex because he was afflicted by the genophage (poison seamen). But he has been cured and I wish the best to him and Eve (Dana) as they quickly overpopulate and take over the galaxy. Joe - Joe Berry would probably be a character from Mass Effect: Andromeda because who cares about him. Brandon - Brandon would be Jacob, because hes black, wasn't around for long, and no one misses him. The Reapers are of course every unfunny podcast and lazy yet popular comedian out there. We keep fighting even though we know we will probably be killed in the end. Can't wait to see which color ending we get! Every review and rating they get is a war asset, and every donation goes to the fund to upgrade the ship, so they all dont die going through the Omega-4 relay. Finally, we the fans are just the citizen's down here on the citadel, looking up in wonder at the amazing things that the crew of the Normandy is doing. Keep up the great work guys, 10 MORE YEARS!

Jim and Them have been at it for too long. They've gone through several periods of burn out and wanting to quit, but they never quit. Every time their power level tripled and the show got funnier, or the audio quality increased. Listen to Jim and Them. If Jim and Them were frequent dinners in my household: Kristen would be Fast Food. She is all types of wrong, but I can't help but have more. Jake would be monthly snack boxes. They arrive from distant lands and are always a delight. Jeff would be Vodka and Ciggarettes. He makes feel warm, but deeply empty. Joe Berry would be a 4 year old ice cream cone in my freezer. I don't miss him, but I sure do think about him a lot. Mike would be a steak dinner. He fills you up with a lot of meat. Jim would be an exotic cat. You'd pay a lot for it and the taste isn't like chicken. Goon Forever. If Jim and Them were a pug, Jim and Them would be dead.

Great show, great crew with down-to-earth personalities. Worth checking out the 3 hours of weekly new content and fabulously consistent pateron. They’re so catchy that everyone can quote them. “You heard it.” One thing that places them above other pop culture podcasts is that they are woke to the truth hidden behind mainstream media and they keep their fingers on the pulse of hot news stories. They have me so enchanted with their high quality work. I fiendishly needed more. Therefore I joined their Patron. Hello fellow Earthlings! If you have gone through your pathetic life without experiencing the greatest podcast and some of the funniest comedic gimmicks / bits known to man you first must ask yourself why? Or what poor life decisions have lead you down this almost unforgivable path? Fret no more I am here to show you the light. Let’s start with the crew, there is currently a main 5 that work with and around the show. I will also include another as he used to be heavily involved with the show and left his own special mark. Obviously, I must start with the great Bambino, The Caliph of Clout, master of all Jim Scampoli. The man who steers the ship, he is a comedic artistic genius and I would follow him into battle any day of the week. The glue per say of the show that keeps everything on track and who also meditates / fuels those classic argumentative Jim and Them fires. Plus, the dude loves Tom Brady. Next on the list is the one known as Jake Sprague aka cult leader (praise his name). He currently resides in Hollywood CA as care taker for his successful fiancé. Jake has always brought hilarious bits and stories to the show and continues that trend on the Jim and Them Patreon. He has the rare ability to bring laughter to almost any situation or room. Third up and one of my favorites of the show is the king of one liners, Jeff Murphy aka Murph Dog aka Legendary Jeff. There are countless times Jeff has brought me to tears from laughing uncontrollably and on top of that the dude has flows on flows on flows. I like to think of myself as the “Jeff” of my core friend group. Forth in line is none other than Mike Steele. For some reason (anime...) he was the one it took the longest for me to warm up to but with each episode my love for him grew. Mike is without a doubt one of the hardest workers when it comes to the show. He has an uncanny ability to sprinkle comedic gold throughout the show. He also gives back to the fans and is probably the easiest to chat up or mess around with in most if not all multiplayer video games. Second from the end is the unforgettable Joe Barry, Blueberry Pancakes will forever be on of my favorite episodes. Last but certainly not sixth best but maybe fifth newest official member, Kristin Thorson. She has always been around whether in the background of helping the guys with a project it’s good to see her finally become a full-time member. She has been a great addition to the show and brings the ability to contradict the guys on certain occasions by offering a different perspective. THAT’S THE CREW! Now for first time listeners Jim and Them may seem anti-semitic, racists, or homophobic when listening to some of the comments made. This couldn’t be further from the truth though, as stated in the disclaimer before every show “THIS IS A COMEDY SHOW”. In a world where everything is taken out of proportion and too seriously Jim and Them is the prefect awaysis from it. Sorry about the length guys and lady. Love the podcast, the Patreon, and any other creation that comes from you all. I also hope this keeps the crew from killing themselves.

Now his job let him listen to his iPod at work so he thought it would be a perfect time to look for more podcast.he on itune and saw that Jim and Them was recommended to him and decided to check them out. When he first listen to them he thought it was ok but a but he like then enough to check back from time to time Skip to 2017 That little Chinese boys is now a little filipino man And consider Jim of them the funny podcast of all time!!! Hilarious Host like Jim Kristen Jeffy and Mike they will keep u laughing Inform in the world of pop-culture. His only complaint of the show is that when u listen to this show at work u will be laughing so much all your other coworkers Will go check if your OK For this young Korean man Jim and them has become a Great joy in life and look forward to listen to them every week And if u have have not guess that little Chinese boys from the beginning of this story....... was me

started listening to Jat when i was 14. im turning 20 next month. its been a ride what happened to killing them with kindness? there has to be a few hollywood diddlers out there in need of a platform to clear the air about all this harrasement hooligans pizzboy for life if jim and them was a class-based cartoon shooter, mike would be a the low damage but maneuverable character the yells quips and hits people with an oversized wrench. jim would be slow moving, high dps heavy Kristen would be the healer Jake would be the all-around army character that most newbies learn first and jeff would be the psycho character with colored hair that sounds kinda german and uses bombs.
