Yes after 13 years and counting Joe Darlington is on of the founders of the James Bond podcasting community. With an entertaining wit, style and a wealth of knowledge you are in great hands for Bond content.

The content is decent if you can tolerate him repeating every point twelve times. The man is knowledgeable. But he doesn't respect his audience to create a simple outline for each episode and go through them one by one. He rants off and repeats himself several times, begining his sentences with "again...".

Listened to 4 different episodes and it’s not for me. The host(s) are extremely rushed and talk all over each other, constantly repeat themselves, and go on and on in a giggly sort of way after they have made their point. They obviously have love for the Bond subject matter, but nowadays there are many more polished podcasts to choose from instead of having to grin and bear it through this podcast just to hear discussion on a particular topic you enjoy. You can do better.

I’ve been an avid listener of Joe’s for many years and despite a very brief “friendly” disagreement (my bring cranky) a few months back I’ve never given up on the quality and craftsmanship of Joe’s podcast. Far and above any other Bond podcast out there. And, he’s only getting better. Production quality, top notch! Content, top notch! And his recently developed series of interviews with members of the Bond community should be a podcast on its own. Absolutely great stuff that will keep any Bond the fan riveted. On another note, I’d love to see Joe and Scott venture off into doing film reviews in general. Scott’s knowledge of film is amazing. The way they play off one another is classic. Give it some thought, fellas!

Joe is a pillar in the bond community, he is so inviting and makes every fan feel welcome and that they have a voice in the fandom. Keep up the great work.

I’ve been a fan of bond all my life and am avid in watching bond channels on youtube. I stumbled onto the countdown to bond 25 podcast a few months ago and was hooked. Here you have to very interesting and intellectual film buffs. Joe and Scott could talk for hours about the films and I would still be entertained, even when I have a difference of opinion from them, I never feel as though they are exclusive of bond fans. They respect everyone’s ones opinions on bond and are very open minded to seeing each other’s perspective on the bond films. Even though the structure of how they discuss each film can be a bit off at some points I find it to still be very intriguing. Finally I just wanted to mention that, Scott is wrong about tomorrow never dies. I had to say it.

Joseph has a great podcast on Bond! He knows the world 007 and he makes it fun to listen too along with his co-host Scott. I had off from work today and I listened to three Bond reviews in a row! Fun, addicting, and you will learn a thing or two from these gents. Definitely a must listen!!! The blue collar Bond fan

Joseph does a variety of topics and types of podcast episodes. The reviews are my favorite, but the general knowledge I gain is available in every episode. This podcast should be in every Bond aficionados library. I've been listening since the beginning, but I just realized I never gave it it's deserved rating. Keep it Mr. Darlington. 🍸

I love bond since I was 8 years old I’m 19 now... I adore bond and bond things so thank you for giving us the bond fix we need....

I tried the first episode. The presenter was rushed, juvenile and repetitive. An editor and a different voice maybe needed. After repeating that he would make a long story short four times in less than fifteen minutes , he did for me. I turned it off. Too many good, well presented podcasts out there for me to waste my time on this drivel. Go take another drive across Europe.

If your interested enough to be reading this, then you will love the Being James Bond. It is an excellent podcast on interesting topics from a Bond perspective. Give it a go and you will love it.

I have been listening to this podcast since nearly it’s inception. I continues to please and improves with time. Although, I don’t always agrees with some of the views of HOS or Scott (Spectre was amazing, not just good and “Another Way to Die” is an under appreciated song), I really enjoy hearing the views of the guys and it makes my exercises time much more pleasant. I truly hope that HOS and the crew continue this 8+ year trek and continue to live like James Bond…...

This was my favorite Podcast a few years back! It's very well made, a great breakdown of a fulfilling lifestyle, and an amazing listen! I'm very very excited that it's back.

Really like this podcast. It has been a while since new episodes have come out but the new guest hosts are doing a great job. Can't wait till HOS comes back for some new episodes. Just in time for Spectre.

One of my favorites, as a long time Bond fan I love all the content I just wish there was more of it!

Life is not just about great drinks and beautiful women, life is about satisfaction on all levels. Personal economics, social attributes and physical upgrading are all covered In this terrific podcast. The topics are well researched and well taught, even though HoS claims to not be a "teacher but a humble student" he focuses in all the parts of life that many of us hold dear, and wish to enrich..experiences, motivation and becoming a more complete individual.

An absolute treat to have someone so professional and dedicated to sharing great ideas to other Bond fanatics. An unselfish, content-rich podcast that gets me through my work days. It would be a dream to do these podcasts for a job.

This is one of my favorite podcasts. The effort that the host puts in is amazing. Interesting to the casual fan as well as the fanatic. Keep up the great work.

It could be good if you would stop making excuses for not doing more podcasts. Just be honest in the first place and tell us you are running out of ideas and/or you're just too lazy to actually follow up with what you started. Bond wouldn't act like that...

Wow, i love this podcast ive been a james bond fan since i was 8 since my parents gave me a set of movies for my birthday i thought they were awesome and that i wanted to be a spy myself(my parents soon explained what a real spy actually did, and the risk).Then when i found this podcast i was like yes finally and ive learned many new things like about planes , bungee jumping and some new tips on texas holdem .I also enjoyed the drinking and mixology episode and while i am too young to drink i will definatley try a vesper when im old enough ,keep up the good work . Being James Bond is amazing. Head Of Section explains in quite detail about multiple subjects that teaches you amazing facts about everything James Bond in actuallity. With Head Of Section's podcasts, you could head out and do Bond moves yourself.

I just discovered this podcast, and I'm having a great time catching up by listening to all of the back-episodes. If you ever wanted to be James Bond (and really, who hasn't??), this podcast is highly recommended!

I started listening to this podcast when it started up back in late 2006 and I was quite suprised how interesting the podcast were, I mean I had listened to the commanderbond.net podcast and it nearly put me to sleep because it really did'nt bring anything new to the tabe and just repeated information that was on the site. However this podcast not only gets you interested to the topic on hand it really is a companion podcast since it brings something new to the table and adds to web site and forum give you. Head of Section brings a lot of interesting topics to the table and you can tell that the podcasts are organized and edited very well and even though the podcasts may not come out as often each one is well worth the wait and come on these podcasts are free and are time consuming so I am glad Head of Section comes out with the amount podcasts that he does. Keep up the good work and I hope to see some good new topics like some inner-game topics like physical health and the oppisite sex would be good.

Head of Section really brings all the topics that he covers down to earth. He also has fantastic interviews with people like Paul Kyriazi, the author of How To Live The James Bond Lifestyle, and Sandy Shepard, the author of fEmpowerment: A Guide To Unleashing Your Inner Bond Girl. Also, while the podcasts are very few and far between, Head of Section really makes them worth the wait. Head of Section, I hope to hear my review on your next podcast. I have to so I absolutely love this podcast. I've been listening since the first episode and have only been more impressed with each episode following. I was raised on the James Bond movies and so I have a certain closeness to the series and once I found out about Head of Section's love for the franchise I couldn't help but give it a listen. This podcast is one of my favoites, awesome quality and great discussion are always included. I recommend this to all of my Bond guys/gals!

This series of Podcasts is great. If you're a fan of James Bond and you want to be a bit more like him this podcast is for you! Head of Section breaks things down in a easy to understand way that leaves you thirsting for more not overwhelmed. The sound quality and editing are top notch. The Interviews and reviews are also great and something that we Bond fans don't get a lot of anywhere else. If you want to take small steps to being a better Bond (or person) then there is no person better to guide you then Head of Section!

This is a phenomenal podcast! I have heard many different James Bond podcasts, but this one takes the cake! I especially loved the Blackjack episode. man! i really love how head of section tackles every aspect of james bond. i started watching james bond about a year and a half ago, and this fabulous podcast has helped me to understand every movie. i also love his reviews of each movies, and he has great taste. i like how he and scott review each movie (even moonraker) in the same length, and how they dont underrate them (especially The Living Daylights, and octopussy). GET THE PODCAST!

This site ROCKS!!!!!! Great job, I always wanted to be a fireman; but now I want to be James Bond (and I now can)..

When I was very young my parents showed me the at the time newest Bond movie (Goldeneye) and I immediately fell in love with the whole idea of James Bond. After that I always wanted to be James Bond. However after more and more Brosnan Bond movies came out I lost my interest slightly. Casino Royale has unquestionably rekindled my want to be like James Bond and more. These podcasts are exactly what the sort of resource i've been on a quest for since early childhood. Now I am on my way to Bondhood as best I can baside moving to London and applying to MI:6. Thankyou Head of Section, and though I trust you are doing this for Queen and Country.

The variety and liveliness of this podcast makes its one not to miss. Head of Sections energetic and fun read plus his obvious passion for 007 keeps me listening, even when the talk is of portions of the Bond world that do not interest me. Technically, the music adds greatly to the professional-sound of the podcast and the vocal part is clear and easy to understand. A winner from start to finish.

Even though I am pretty young I REALLY enjoy anything that has to be with James Bond. When I first saw the movies I liked them alot.
