nickromo14Basketball Culture 👑👑Love Jason and Shea’s approach to showing love to the game of basketball and demonstrating that we can have tons of fun and respect the game at the same time! Jason and Shea are historians, super fans, and high key - culture setters. Respect
-
CuteNSassy.com/CallmePotential song that Jason was talking aboutIt first sounded like Nikki Minhaj’s Your Love which samples Annie Lennox No More I Love You’s. But can’t find an exact commercial tied to it.

zenlow210A must-listen!I’ve been a fan of Jason’s since ALL CAPS (RIP. the world could use more analySMR) randomly popped up in my YouTube recommendations. So pumped last year when I heard about Six Trophies. A weekly must-listen, him and Shea are doing killer work!
-
jennyandcabbageAnother Perfect EpisodeShea and Jason have a beautiful, special, important quality that is increasingly rare in the oversaturated podcast space- they are, gasp, LIKABLE!!! Their likable and great vibes radiate through the speakers. I love their friendship and rapport with each other and genuinely look forward to this podcast all week. My fav sports podcast ever. Love all of the pop culture references and their vast knowledge of the film/tv/music space. xoxo!

IanmoranAmazing show, maybe separate out W talk?It was my favorite podcast, but, I’ve just skipped episodes a lot because I have no interests in the W. It got annoying trying to skip around all the W talk weaved in when I have podcast on as I’m doing chores. I definitely understand the goal of giving W exposure, but I just don’t have time to follow another league. Maybe time stamps so I know when to skip ahead to, if don’t want do separate episodes? Amazing show though, even if it’s no longer for me

Captain McMeowstein09876789010/10 no notesBeen a fan of Shea and Jason for years. This is exactly in my wheelhouse.
-
jayfromprA must listen for any basketball fanQuite possibly the best basketball related podcast out there.
-
TheWalkOnsPodHonestly my favorite Basketball podcastJason and Shea are great hosts, I've been listening to them for years starting at The Ringer. Jason is one of the most creative podcasts hosts on the planet, i love everything he puts out. The two of them have awesome chemistry and together they made a basketball podcast that keeps you up to date, laughing, and entertained! If you want stats thrown at you and play by play breakdown this podcast isn't it, but if you want to ENJOY an awesome sports/ pop culture podcast then look no further!
-
fdoconnoriiExcellent addition to rotationTwo muppet babies talkin ball. Jason’s take on Fosbury Flop is high level stupid.
-
Mike, Portland, ORA Great ListenJason and Shea have done a few podcasts together and their chemistry and friendship makes for a great listen. They are so funny and they love their teams so much while also being great fans of the NBA as a whole and pop culture. I have enjoyed their work since the Grantland days and everything they each do separately is excellent but they have a ton of fun together and if you enjoy the nba or the Gladiator you will find something to enjoy on this podcast.
-
please update apple tv app!Loved this podcast until they shorted the wnba for gladiatorDon’t claim to love the W so much if you aren’t willing to cover it fully. Would you skip the in season tournament for gladiator? No. So how do you justify skipping the commissioner’s cup?

Brooklyn BrotherJust start a pop culture podI think the hosts would prefer to be hosting a current events/pop culture podcast, but felt that basketball would attract a more consistent audience. They join a chorus of nba talking heads that find basketball itself to be boring, but feed off the audience and drama. Im disappointed by the latest episode, and feel that its an attempt to push the podcast away from the sport its branded for. Theres PLENTY of basketball news this week, and yet we have to hear jokes and recaps of a film that occurred over a generation ago. I love these guys, but i wish they enjoyed talking about basketball as much as they do overwhelmingly mainstream movies. Just start a pop culture podcast, and wait for the audience to come. I’d listen to it, but i wanted a good basketball week recap show.

KsED1528Hoops all year!Love the show and love the incorporation of the W 🥰
-
Buster from ChicagoBest Podcast Out There!Love this podcast! It makes me laugh every episode! From Shea getting into it with old ladies at the grocery store to Jason minimizing the career of Michael Jordan. If you’re still taking suggestions for Jalen Brunson’s theme music, I would like to suggest Mighty Mouse “Here I come to save the day!”
-
Andrew4045Was literally about to cancel Wondery+…but seeing that Shea and Jason’s new cast is also on Wondery+ saved my subscription at the very last second It’s them and the Small Town Murder/Crime In Sports guys, Wondery+…that’s all you got
-
Ben Simmons said thisLove itBest basketball show in the game. Couldn’t be happier for Shea and the future of the Spurs but that wemby music is actually going to drive me insane.
-
rosecitycollectNot like the othersIf you are sick of take artists who are more about their own opinions than the game they cover, this is the podcast for you. Both hosts are knowledgeable, but are more about having fun covering the game, then beating you over the head with manufactured discourse. Great chemistry and is the best Basketball podcast out there.
-
Durham PGYeah! This is the NBA podcast we’ve been waiting for. One pod to rule them all. The chosen one. The Mahdi of basketball pods. Do your soul a favor: Listen. Enjoy. Believe.
-
joe6425Great Podcast!I like the sports and movie references it is a fun show. They should add more action movie references.
-
croce122AwesomeThis is my current favorite podcast. I laugh multiple times each episode. I love the blend of NBA news with pop culture. These two seem like we’d best friends. The little trophies are my favorite part! Honestly wish it was more than once a week.
-
iZHKGI love Six Trophies but Jason..Stop doing the X-ray vision intro! I beg you! My ears bleed a little every time. Otherwise, love the show, the hosts and producer Zuri in the shadows making the noises!
-
NathanT29Fairweather NBA FansThey don’t know ball. Pains me when people bring Shea on their podcast to talk spurs or jason knicks cuz they got generic takes with a lot of wrong information. This pod isn’t an easy listen
-
Jeremy KanterGreat NBA podcastSuper enjoyable, but unsubscribed due to a lack of WNBA coverage.
-
Matthew the dogJason is the first podcaster brave enough to not D ride MJThe goat debate is drawn out so much it’s annoying. It’s up for debate but Jason is the first podcaster to put some nuance to the argument! Change the grammar of the debate plz!! Best NBA player of all time MJ or Lebron for sure… maybe Kareem. Best basketball player of all time!? Now you got a debate, take counting stats out of it. I think you can add players like Kevin Durant to that debate…
-
CodyMW2The best pod goingThese guys have it going on. Two of the funniest people alive and they have a subject they both love. Their chemistry is off the charts

Von Trapper KeeperMy top 3 fictional hoops games to attendI also had the first game of White Men Can’t Jump and the final game of Above The Rim in my top 3, so I’ll pick 2 subs: #3. The Bill Murray game in Space Jam (you get to meet and probably play golf and have beers with Murray, Jordan, and Bugs Bunny). #2. The Eastside Westside game in season 1 of the Wire (Avon, Prop Joe, Poot, Bodie, Herc, Carver - the stars came out for this one). #1. From my original list, the first game that Scott Howard turns into Teen Wolf. You get to see a dude unexpectedly turn into an actual wolf. The atmosphere must have been electric.
-
Racoon HailThe best basketball podcastThese two are amazingly entertaining, and I cannot tell you what I love most about the podcast, is it the Daniel Plainview “I’ve abandoned my child, I’ve abandoned my boy” clip that makes me laugh each week? Is it the perfectly named Dominic Toretto “I live my life a quarter of a mile” trophy? Or the always out of left field and enjoyable little trophies? I couldn’t pick from all these wonderful options and I hope that you too as a new listener are also spoiled for choice. Without a doubt the most entertaining and best basketball podcast out there.
-
GStatusRayStop peaking the mic, Jason!Love the show but oh my god. Jason, you yell so loud randomly every episode that it peaks your mic and genuinely hurts my ears. Maybe change some settings or have a producer help you out. I literally cannot give this show 5 stars because of it.
-
@kcopenDo you love basketball? Do you love fun?I just love these guys, I wish I could hang out with them all the time. I loved Jason’s NBA Desktop and was a huge fan of when Jason and Shea did the Connect. You really can’t find another podcast like this, the only thing that was close was the heyday of The Basketball Jones podcast. If you’re into having fun and laughing while hearing about the NBA you should be listening to this. I hope it continues forever.
-
lo es que es¡ Magnico !Best bball podcast ever… Jason and Shea are fantastico More….More
-
Ruserious 71One of the bestJason’s laughter is infectious. I laugh along to the banter between Shea and Jason the entire time. The little trophy categories are always on point. They get in and out covering basketball without drawing stuff out. Love it.
-
Russell_BThe Celtics live rent-free in Concepcion’s HeadNot bad otherwise
-
MXV31Best new basketball podThese have got to be the funniest, most creative, thoughtful people talking about basketball.
-
Kateroo90They’re back!!!I’ve been a big fan of Jason and Shea for the better part of a decade and still listen to old episodes of The Connect sometimes for a good laugh. This is a fun concept with great chemistry. I’m honestly just writing this review because I’m annoyed with the haters who lowballed their scores. Why do people hate fun, I’ll never understand it.
-
Acuña Jr.If you don’t like this show…@$€k you
-
Dg dinFantastic - need moreШей и Джейсън са дъвките в косата на бил симънс
-
MollyMcilroyOnly Jason and Shea…could get someone who has never watched an NBA game enjoy this pod.
-
Edward1239It’s fineI loved these guys at the Ringer, loved NBA desktop, but there’s something too manufactured about this and borderline disingenuous about the chemistry. Which is a weird thing to say because the guys really do seem to be friends. Maybe it’s the cringe cold openings mixed with Jason’s hysterical laughing that comes across like “HAHAHAHAA THAT IS SO FUNNY! WE’RE SUCH GOOD FRIENDS! WE JUST LOVE TAKIN BASKETBALL AND EACH OTHERS COMPANY!!!!” I’ll come back in a few months and see if things settle out.
-
BlazersAxeToo funIf you like podcasts, basketball and fun, get on this.
-
Chefdef1The boys are back!!!Shea and Jason are two of my favorite podcasters! I’ve followed them for years and it is great that they are back together! Amazing pairing and I’m locked in every Wednesday.
-
Jackson LundUnbelievable ChemistryHilarious. Jason and Shea have amazing chemistry.
-
Derekw44AmazingSo funny I end up listening to the episodes twice
-
RCG80Finding it’s footingShea is always funny. If Jason could avoid screaming on mic I’d appreciate it.
-
2nd rounders in the trenchesbest NBA podvery good podcast by two hosts who speak very tally and athletically. 5 stars can’t wait for more episodes as the NBA season cranks up
