    Disappointed
Watched this faithfully for a couple of years , but I am very unhappy with the recent direction and content. I appreciated this program when it was uplifting to the Christian and honoring to God’s Word.

    Favorite
This is my favorite podcast of all the podcasts I am subscribed to. Sean is the most measured, careful, kind, and fair (possibly his favorite word!) interviewer I’ve ever heard. He’s also very well studied, and I completely trust what he has to say on a wide variety of important and relevant topics.

    You Crossed the line Sean
I no longer see Sean as good faith actor. After the interview with Praguer. Sean’s has demonstrated that academic rigor is not priority of his. It is actions like this that will continue to have people leave the faith of Christianity. I don’t know what happened Sean, but this acts requires amends.

    Mike Licona
Regarding Mike Licona; Not a big fan of promoting his work; it only adds to the questionability of the faith. We have a world already questioning, and undermining our faith, why add to it. He has a lot of theories for his interpretation, but denies the straight forward claims that the scriptures are God breathed. Denying the promise from Jesus that the Holy Spirit would guide the writers of scriptures. Denying Jesus claim for the full authority of the OT. I think you deserve a little “shame on you” for promoting his work. Kind of hard for you teaching at school that promotes apologetics, and authority of the biblical faith, and then promote somebody that undermines the faith. You should know better. Have a backbone if you are going to give voice to his teachings, and challenge them. He is not on our team! He is an intellectual scholar who is undermining the historical view of the scriptures, and you own the responsibility of promoting his work. I know this, he should not be teaching at a Christian college or school. You can do much better Sean.

    Sean is awesome!
I’ve listened to him quite a bit between his youtube channel and Think Biblically. Really appreciate his willingness to have a civil conversation and display new arguments in a respectful way while still holding to his convictions from God and the Bible.

    Great apologetics podcast
As a big fan of apologetics, I’m really enjoying Dr McDowell’s podcast. I’ve enjoyed all that I have listened to and I love the way he interacts with those he disagrees with. Such grace and decorum. I have only found this podcast in the last few months and am eager to listen to the ones I have missed.
  • Number Two.
    Outstanding!
The show with Rosaria Butterfield on the five lies was absolutely fantastic! I had plans to listen to a part of it and get back to my workout but I could not turn it off. Thank you for your help. It wasn’t just an exercise in mental gymnastics for me but practical everyday wisdom for where I am in life. Again, thanks!

    Know why you believe
As a Christian who has called herself that for as long as I can remember, I finally understand how vital it is to actually know why I believe what I believe and to be able to defend it in a way that invites others to know God rather than turn them away. There is nothing more “unconvincing” to the TRUTH than a Christian who has no idea why they believe what they profess to believe. In fact, I think it’s dangerous. I had to discover the foundation of my belief in Christ apart from “it’s how I grew up.” Sean has helped me do that through this podcast and his books. Thank you!! I want to be an apologist now!! :)

    Amazing podcast!
I think it’s crucial that Christians continually engage with the difficult issues in culture, and I love Dr. McDowell’s approach to controversial topics. He gives balanced perspectives, is empathetic towards those of opposing views, and stays firm on Biblical teaching. This podcast has helped me understand my unbelieving friends, equipped me for conversations about God and the Bible, and deepened my own faith. I’m so grateful for this resource!
