    Good Information, Exasperating Interviews
This info is so helpful, and the guests have much to contribute to the story of food addiction. But the host's incessant habit of turning the interview back to herself -- interjecting with her own stories -- is insufferable. Interviewing is a skill, and the job is to keep the spotlight on the guest, ask specific QUESTIONS (not just "talk about your childhood") and allow the audience to know the guest better. Constantly inserting oneself offers the same listener experience as being at a party where your conversational party can't help making everything about him/herself.

    Helpful guest but…
Disturbing use of phrase “fat makes you fat” which I think is a dangerous admonition especially in the eating disorder/ food addiction recovery field. Disturbing universal statements such as“food addicts try lots of diets” Not necessarily, I exercised sometimes excessively but never dieted. And correlating food addiction problems as evidenced in fat. Many food addicts are not fat as I’m also sure not all fat people are food addicts. It is a disservice to this field to limit and define the problem as well as claim and thereby the solution.

    Informative and hope bringing
As a current compulsive over eater who is playing around with the idea of going to OA meetings and getting help, this podcast has helped me understand more about what goes on in my brain and makes me feel like there is actually hope for me.

    Practical Info for Life Skills
Informative yet respectfully understanding- yet lacking the drama and emotional hype of a very delicate and difficult subject, I really enjoyed learning and broadening my skill base in dealing with this problem.
