Great Podcast

I decided to try out the podcast after relying on VGC for my gaming news for a few years now. Gaming analysts like Colin Moriarty cite them quite often so I decided to check them out. Their website and Twitter feed provides gaming news quickly and accurately. They have sources that they obviously vet, and don’t report on rumors from anyone who posts some photoshopped “screenshot”. They also report the news without any sort of political bias or slant, which I appreciate since most gaming outlets editors can’t help them selves these days by putting their own spin on the news. Because of all the above, I decided that if I liked the articles VGC posts, I most certainly should like the podcast produced by those people right? 100% right. If you enjoy VGC and the content they provide either on website or social media feeds, you’ll love this podcast as well. It’s great to know that new podcasts can still pop up and be great even in a sea of repetitive, vanilla content. 100% recommend.

Sadly, I lack a social circle with whom I can speculate on the meaning of Nintendo's curious 'Who is Emio' teaser. So the VGC podcast will have to suffice. I love joining them to navigate the week's news, their energy drink banter notwithstanding. Their insider view of the industry is peerless. Jordan's thick Scottish accent is merely icing on the video-game themed cake.

I gave this podcast a shot since I’ve been visiting VGC for gaming news for a while now. The moment I heard the hosts name dropping New Japan Pro Wrestling and WCW while recapping news I felt right at home. These are great, chill hosts presenting gaming news with a casual tone, and they just happen to love pro wrestling.

VGC is a great way to stay ahead of all the latest news in video games. Keep it up guys!

Informative and entertaining!

VGC is one of my favorite news sites to get my fix for my gaming news. Even Kinda Funny has brought in some of the staff to talk with them about games. Knowing that they had a podcast I subscribed and it’s interesting to even learn and try to understand the Scottish coming from one of the speakers. This podcast has quickly become my favorite listen each week. The convos are insightful, and I enjoy the hosts varying perspectives. The energy is always stellar, and just a blast to listen to. Jordan's segues are unstoppable, and the rotating cast keeps things fresh (Pete Donaldson is an absolute delight to listen to). A great show top to bottom!

Great podcast. I really enjoy the folks they have on the cast, their insight, and personalities. I also really appreciate the news focus of the show and keeping a short digestible listen under an hour. My only request is for them to add time stamp notes in the episode description.
