    Haunted and more
The TV show I always loved , Now I can listen to it on the Pod. I would like to have the podcast at least 3 days a week. I just love Friday nights with the show

I Could love this show if….
This podcast has great content, but the background “special effects” are too distracting and you can barely hear what the person is saying. Get rid of the background sounds and I’ll change my rating to ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I want to love this, but…
The stories are creepy and well told. But the sound effects need to be toned done a little. Some of them add to the story, but mostly they are distracting and annoying. It amazes me that people go to all the work of making a podcast but won’t listen to the constructive feedback of listeners.

    Skip Alaska triangle
Pretty good story lines but I would skip the whole Alaska triangle episodes. Once you get to the 2024 episodes that’s when you get to the good stuff. Keep them coming

    Oh, the sounds..
Sound effects destroy the show; it is as if the mix was performed maliciously. Words could easily stand on their own.

    Too many ads
The amount of ads is crazy.

    Noise
This show would be a 100 times better without a the background sounds competing with the story being told. At times it is hard to heard what is being said.

Sound effects are loud and annoying
Stories are good, but- when the storyteller says “the kids screamed,” I know what that sounds like. I don’t need a demonstration sound effect- and I certainly don’t need it to be 50 decibels louder than the storyteller. Likewise, the voiceovers from the actors are mostly annoying. “I started praying…” voiceover: “our father, who art in heaven…” Yes I’m familiar with the concept- this is redundant, and seems to be to meant to stretch a 15 minute story into a 30 minute episode. Finally, the music is also too loud compared to the storyteller. In a nutshell, they need to throw the whole soundbed in the garbage and redo it, or at least fix the voice/music/sfx mix.

    Too Much Audio Fluff
You can tell this is just the TV show’s audio, which is disappointing. The podcast (like the show) is stretched thin with scary audio effect fluff so that what would normally be a 10-min story is 30. The reenactments are very cheesy and you can tell they also reuse the same audio clips over and over again. Like in the We Were Goners episode, when she is calling for the dogs it’s just the same audio but over and over and over and over. Like really lazy for a network with seemingly a big budget. They don’t care. This is just another revenue stream for them as the original form of TV continues to die.

    It’s okay
Ehhh more of a conspiracy podcast rather then like supernatural it does touch on supernatural but they lean way more into the conspiracy type sooo I personally think it could be better

I loved the show but confused by this podcast.
I think it’s weird how these are just rehashed pieces of audio from the show. Travel Channel is kind of shady for this AND renaming an old podcast something else. You guys that hard up for views?

    Doesn’t work as podcast
This is just a TV show that they’re streaming as a podcast. It doesn’t work. Several instances where they apparently showed photos or video for the TV show makes this fall flat as a podcast. It’s pretty boring too, which is why I don’t watch TV anymore.

    Silly
I’m super into Bigfoot and aliens. I watch so many documentaries on them but this is just silly. They make no scientific claim. It’s all like “we found a large footprint…BIGFOOT”

    Interesting
I am fascinated by all of the stories that are being told. I will say however you’ve miss pronounced several of the places Adak being one. Additionally the traditional people of Alaska are referred to as Alaskan Natives. Not Native Americans and not Alaska natives.

    Interesting
I don’t mind the sounds/ production. Yes you can tell it comes from a TV show. I really am intrigued by the Dark Pyramid story and appreciate the citing of Linda Moulton Howe on this topic. She’s been working on this for a long time. She also vetted Doug M and verified his military history by way of documents. However the second story is not first hand- that is 2nd and 3rd hand information. Yes this is bizarre and far fetched seeming but the idea that there is a pyramid- which we know exists all over the world that is being covered up is not far fetched to me. Gov likely doesn’t want people out there, it could still be ‘active’ unlike the Egyptian pyramids.

    A Little Ridiculous
I was excited to listen to this podcast, it’s well put together but the content is….the people interviewed make the greatest assumptions with no proof or research. Imagine thinking massive amounts of carpenter ants coming out of the woodwork as paranormal. I lived in a house in the woods and it got infested with carpenter ants. It was horrible they were everywhere, we called an exterminator and the problem was solved, weird.

    30yrs in Alaska
I’ve lived here for 30+ yrs and this is just over dramatic. I seriously doubt our missing persons populace has been abducted by aliens, the sad truth is that due to the vastness of the state were a prime target for serial killers and human trafficking. People also just get drunk and wander off. The elements reclaim them more often than not. Believe what you want but I always go for the mundane answer before jumping to the paranormal one. This is very dramatic and makes it sound like we’re constantly besieged by paranormal happenings whereas I guarantee if you ask anyone in Alaska about any of these things most are going to be really confused about what you are talking about.

The cheesiest be with pro production ever
This is seriously the most well-produced garbage I’ve ever heard. Like what it would be like to listen to a Big Mac talk about its nutritional value if it could speak.

    Way too many sound-effects
I really wanted to like this. I kept trying to listen, but the ridiculous sound effects, music, and melodrama ruins the stories. Had to delete.

    Inauthentic
I was born and raised in Alaska, lived there for nearly 30 years, my parents lived there for over 40, and the show just takes too much creative license in how it depicts aspects of life and the realities of the numerous locations mentioned. I’m a paranormal fan and subscribe to many shows, and perhaps someone without any personal experience with Alaska could enjoy the show for what it is, but I couldn’t make it work. Alaska is incredible, and dangerous, it can stand on its own without the treatment the producers have given it.

    Digging’ it
I like how it’s produced! Very informative as well.

    Not my thing
It’s a bit over produced. All the the sounds and music take away from the quality of the podcast for me.

    Ancient Aliens Alaska edition!
If there’s any validity to the stories it’s completely lost to the cheesy production and narration. 👎🏼

Recycled TV Show Audio - Not made for casual listening
This is obviously just the audio recycled from a tv show - which I hate - because as I’m sitting listening, I can’t follow what’s happening because there’s so much “tv show filler” where they tell you over and over again what they’re going to talk about, but then take forever to get there. I’m really disappointed by this - should’ve started with a spooky eyewitness account to whet my interest - I’ve been listening to episode 1 and I can’t even get through it, it’s hard to pay attention to, especially since I’m multitasking

    Just stupid
Repetitive, unbelievable, and very annoying.Dramatic voices replace facts, dramatic music replaces actual suspense. I will not listen and you longer, and can’t recommend that you do either.
