    Outstanding
I am just now getting back into listening to podcasts and I am all caught up on my favorite podcast. Tarek's podcast popped up on something I may like. I am going into Nursing School and have been in the medical field since I was 20. I have struggled a long time with Mental Health and getting the help that I needed. Up until 4 years ago I did not think it was okay to get help, but now I have the exact opposite feeling. I am always looking for new stuff to learn, and listening to this podcast has become an amazing journey. I love what Tarek talks about and puts it into a personal perspective. Thank you so much Tarek for letting us hear your story and giving amazing advice💕🙏🏼

    Shame on you
Selling solutions to mentally people—shame on you. The one and only episode I click on to listen to requires a subscription.

A powerful and much needed podcast
I’m only two episodes in and I’m already in tears (healing tears!) Tarek does such an amazing job of creating a safe space to deep dive with his guests and the audience. I can’t wait to binge through these episodes

    Authentic!!!!
The transparency displayed in this podcast is rejuvenating in a world full of fabricated versions of healing. The last episode all about sex brought me to tears when Tarik pauses for a sec and checks in with himself before sharing something intimate. I appreciate his courage, compassion, and love it takes to share these stories that have resonate with me so well. Pls keep being you Tarik, we love you!!!

this episode hit my soul in SUCH an amazing way during a time where i really needed to hear about the power of letting go. it is hard to heal and feel like you can keep going when you don’t have closure, but this gave me so much more hope than i’ve felt in a long time :)

All I can say is— Thank you so much🤍
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you so much for this podcast. Since tuning in to the podcast, I feel like all the unanswered questions I’ve had during my extensive healing journey are being answered. So much so that I’ve decided to listen to the episodes in order, start to finish, more than once. These episodes, these conversations are so transformative and real and honest. A lot of the exercises that you have guests do, I’ve done and benefited from so much. Thank you immensely for your time, support, honesty, transparency, and vulnerability. Words can not explain how much your podcast has helped shaped my newfound perspectives on my healing journey. Thank you🤍

    Yassssssssss!!! 😍😍
I needed this podcast. As a black queer woman who specializes in child development and parent education this first episode was EVERYTHING I NEEDED to remember my greatness 🥺

    Tarek.
I honestly have no words for you. I saw a clip from addiction on tiktok and let me tell you. You had me CRYING and God told me then and there I had to follow you. And before I even watch or listen to that full episode I told myself I was starting from the beginning. First episode to the end, and let me tell you. Definitely feels like we just sitting on the phone talking while I’m at work. You’re energy has been moving me so much that I deactivated all my social media. The more episodes I listen to the more I know this time is different. I’ve been on a healing journey for sooo long and you definitely make me really wanna put the work in. How much I wish I could just sit and have a FULL conversation with you 😭 I love you so much and your energy. Thank you for having the conversations people avoid on a daily basis. 🖤💞

These episodes evoke so much emotion and healing
Please continue to share your experiences and knowledge. Along with your beautiful guest who have so much to add to the hard topics you choose to address. Ep 13 Addiction made me reflect so much and apply some of the grounding techniques and meditations you presented in the talk. You truly have a gift and I wish you the best on your journey of being a healer and a voice for people who don’t get heard very often. Thank you so much for your content please continue to upload podcasts, I can’t wait to see what you have in store!

You inspired me to start up a podcast thank you !!!!
Just listen to you talk about the things you go through is amazing. You are giving me the courage and confidence to do the same finally speak my truth to set me free. I am a middle child who feels like the glue to her chaotic family so I am very unspoken sometimes. But your podcast makes me want to reopen them wounds to get the closure so I can just get the weight off my shoulders for ones. Thank you so much for being unapologetically you 😫👏🏽👏🏽

    Thank you
I begin my healing journey a while ago but got distracted by life and started hating my life and what it was becoming so basically I got of course. I saw a clip on instagram( the one when you were talking to your assistant) and I cried so hard because, what you said was something I didn’t know I NEEDED to hear, or NEEDED to heal from. Every single episode I am learning and gaining a better perspective about myself and my healing journey and I can’t say thank you enough for just being you, and sharing your light with us. I love you as we are best friends, and thank you so much for the love and care you put into each episode. 🤎🤎

Great for others but not for me
Don’t get me wrong, I truly do appreciate this podcast and do think it’s needed. That being said it’s not for me. What’s suppose to be relatable and inspiration just makes me sad. As I listened all it did was make me feel sad for Tarek and sometimes I felt uncomfortable rather than take in what he says and reflect it my own personal life.

Wished r*PE and assault on someone
Yes he was a teenager but I do not ever wanna take life advice from someone who multiple times tweeted about wanting to r*PE someone and assault them on top of his misogynoir

You podcast is full of the tools we need to succeed. A new fan!!!
Tarek, I will be forever grateful for THAT Conversation Podcast. You are very much present and your self awareness is amazing. Which allows you to be such a light in this world. I am familiar with who, Tarek Ali, is. But this podcast is honestly the first project I’ve followed from the start and wait in anticipation for what’s next for the podcast and you as a screenwriter. Thank you for taking us on this journey with you. I just concluded season one of the podcast and I feel like it’s just what I needed for the new year and with accomplishing some goals I have set for myself to help healing, “me”!

a literal gem in my pocket
tarek, i’ve been following your short form content for a few years now— i found you from when you did dearra + kens vlogmas video. yet i rarely sit and listen to your talking videos. boy have i missed out. hearing you talk about your story in the first episode alone has brought me so much clarity about my own story. you truly have a gift at uncovering those demons. can’t wait to learn more from you! thank you for sharing 💗

Inspiring, Healing, Insightful, And So Much More.
This podcast encapsulates topics that bring light into the core of what it means to be human. Not only for a trauma healing journey, but for a coming back to self journey. Every single episode is insightful and inspiring, and I’ve personally learned so much about myself already with Tarek’s kind words. His skill of articulating his thoughts and providing a safe space for all of us listeners to really just.. be, is so hard to come by in this age of fast content. Highly highlyyy recommend listening. And thank you for this amazing podcast.

Stumbled across this podcast today and I will forever subscribe to it. Such great energy and well rounded thinking. Very motivational but not a harsh, unbearable approach. I love the authenticity, laughter, and educated advice that seems to be a constant in each episode. I hope episodes are made more often! 🫶🏽

    I LOVE THIS!🥹
I love this. This is what I’ve been searching for not going to lie, I came across Tareks tiktok yesterday and I was like wow! Instantly I was triggered from my childhood traumas and instead of pushing it aside I felt everything and cried a river m,hugged and comforted myself and I showed myself the love and empathy I always have for others and finally applied it to myself and DAM it felt good. Thank you Tarek Ali for accepting what God called you to do which is to be yourself authentically to tell your story🙏🏽❤️

    caring & affirming.
i started listening after tarek’s interview w his friend went viral on twitter, and i’ve been hooked since. this podcast comes from a place of care, and i’m always reminded that it is important to be gentle with myself. the way tarek explained the concept of your inner child changed my perspective and i always find myself taking notes. tarek also incorporates race, queerness, & class into understanding trauma, survival, and healing. i’m so grateful to have found this podcast.

    Three R’s
It’s real. It’s relatable. It’s revolutionary. I am truly grateful for Tarek. I feel seen and heard while listening to his podcast. He makes me feel like I’m not crazy and to just breathe. There’s power in healing and I give thanks to God and Tarek for helping me with that. I can write so much but please listen to his podcast y’all, it’s for everyone, it’s needed and just so helpful. You know it’s amazing when everyone loves it and he’s only being his authentic self.

No words can describe the impact of personal emotions being articulated to make sense of it all. If guardian angels exist, mine has either lead me to this podcast or is speaking directly to me through it.

    Wow. I love this.
This is the podcast I needed. Shows me I am not alone and it’s okay to be scared, owning your anxiety and using it to my advantage not my weakness and or downfall. I will be okay in this big world and find my voice where I will be loved and supported. I want to be a photographer/videographer; YouTube, podcast I want it all but I feel like I won’t be able to cause I’m never focused on just one for more than a day (working on it) so seeing you sometimes get off track but remembering what the topic is and owning your ADHD is nice since I’m always the one people say that is never focused, I talk to much and idk what I want in life. When actually I DO. Congratulations for your success I’ve been following you since you started TikTok. I want to embark, listen, and engage in this journey with you. I love you to pieces. 🫶🏾 & thank you for sharing and being vulnerable with us.

    Changed my outlook on life
Just wow! Been following you and your journey for years on YouTube and wanted to explore your podcast and stumbled upon Episode 5. That episode not only was amazing and resonated with me so much, but made me want to check out your other episodes. Went to Episode 3 and your story empowered me to keep pushing from my no’s because they are only future yes’. That board member was right! Your voice and story is amazing and I can’t wait to see what you accomplish!
