Excellent interviews with Micheal Hudson He asked excellent questions.first heard Ben onChris Heges program, spend a lot of time in Central America apparently reflecting in depth knowledge.

Superb podcast, always informative, thought-provoking, and persuasive. I only wonder why there is so little criticism of China, and even Russia to some extent.

Even if you’re not the socialist type or left leaning whatsoever it’s still a unique & greatly informative podcast, source of news, geopolitical analysis & updates with facts, sited sources and the detailed and uniquely descriptive content-material

This podcast is refreshing. Finally news that isn’t mainstream talking points! Keep up the amazing work.

This podcast program offers eye-opening insights from a variety of sources. However, it is important to listen with caution as there is a huge media bias. In "Israel's pager attack in Lebanon will blow back," distributed on 9/24/2024, Ben contrasted the Western European side with the Chinese and Russian sides, showing that the Israeli attack has discredited technology products manufactured in Western countries. I agree that the Israeli attack has discredited technology products produced in Western countries. At 28:20~ of the episode, Ben claims the small countries would say "at least China has not invaded other countries and deserves credit," but I must point out that this would not be true. The 2020 National Security Law in Hong Kong is still fresh in our minds, and as of 2024, China is in the midst of a territorial dispute with the Philippines. The fact that Taiwan has refused to have political ties with China in elections in recent years makes it unlikely that many countries would trust China more than Western countries.

From semi literate serfs eager to fellate the same elite wrecking their future are hilarious if not sad. Ben does an excellent job on this show and it’s a departure from his previous work which could often come off as than less clinical and academic.

I am a true believer of freedom of speech, moreover, I do not like when reporters claim themselves to be “speaking the truth” while just looking at what they want to see. You can quickly see this see this is just anti-West propaganda when in the Milei episode Kirchnerism is not mentioned even once! How cam you objectively assess Argentina’s current situation without analyzing +20 years of failed socialism? Or even blaming Venezuela solely on sanctions? As if Chavez never happened… My friend you are invited to come to Venezuela any day, you can stay at my place, and see how your socialist comrades live on ivory towers while all Venezuelans are dying of hunger. It’s very easy to criticize the US from your comfortable couch, with a fridge full of food, electricity, water, transportation, a strong currency you can have savings, liberty, and freedom of speech. I understand the US are not saints, but please don’t come promoting toxic ideologies if you haven’t even lived on them! You don’t know what you have until you lose it… especially your freedom.

Granados says the Public Health system has improved, that is a lie. There are reports of children with cancer who died due to lack of medicines. A friend with diabetes just died last week because he could not get access to dialysis.

Sometimes underestimates people’s experience (I’m 74, been around a long time), but Ben is incredibly motivated to learn and explain the world. Highly recommend, especially as his interests include economics and China.

This pod always features the same echo chamber of anti-western voices. It’s like listening in on a conversation at a university student union.

Ben is an incredible aggregator, analyst and host. The info and perspectives presented here are vital for understanding our time.

The show’s title suggests this is not an easy or interesting listen. Sometimes it’s so hard for me to listen to the older geopol/economics guys (even though they’re great too)! Ben truly has a gift breaking these things down.

Not sure how I found this podcast but it’s incredibly informative.

I was a longtime Moderate Rebels listener who subbed for the near-daily updates on world affairs from a socialist perspective. And that’s quality stuff (albeit more pro-China than I would like) but the crown jewels here are the economic show with Michael Hudson, MMT pioneer and anti-imperialist prophet, and the brilliant Aaron Good crossover on US Deep State history, a project which is vital to keeping the concept of Deep State on the Left where it belongs!

Ben offers a refreshing perspective on current events and his expertise on so many different areas is inspiring to people like me, who strive to understand the world.

Benjamin Norton’s reporting and explanations of nuanced World Politics is some of the best in modern journalism. The Geopolitical Economy Report is great at keeping up with current events and puts out plenty of content each week to keep you updated. My favorite aspect of the show is that Norton doesn’t force the show to reach a certain length or try to pack things in for time, he tells us the current events for as long as necessary, whether that be 15 minutes or 1 hr and 15 minutes.

Oh God, I could be bounded in a nutshell…

I've been listening to this guy for a few weeks now and I decided, it's just the usual assortment of we-bad-they-good, anti-US propaganda. Just kind of boring to listen to. Anyway, I quit it.

An amazingly informative podcast from one of the absolute best journalists in English language media. I’ve been mysteriously unsubscribed from this podcast multiple times. The same thing happened with Ben’s previous podcast. I wonder why?
