Somethings shifted, and I love it.
I’m updating my previous negative review because I have felt something change with Melissa’s content in the last year, maybe two. I used to feel triggered by her because something felt off in her energy and what she was preaching, to be fully transparent. But lately, her content has resonated so deeply with me and I genuinely feel like she is being more honest and real with us than anyone else in the wellness space. Thank you Melissa for opening yourself up in this way and being so raw and vulnerable, it is not only validating but it is truly inspirational. When I hear you talk about your mental health struggles I feel REAL inspiration to do the work and devote my energy to taking care of myself because I can see that you have been to the depths of suffering as well. In todays world of performative marketing tactics, it’s so hard to find a teacher who is being honest, but I think we can all spot the real ones when we see them if we tune into our gut & intuition. The last episode on alcohol and mental health was 10/10. Love how you inspire us and give us tough love at the same time. Thank you so much for what you do!!

Thank you so much to Melissa and the MWH Team!
I have loved MWH and the MWH Method for years now and always find myself coming back to this podcast when I’m in spaces of uncertainty! I find Melissa and her guests to be incredibly insightful and deeply appreciate how much kindness is infused into every episode. Hope anyone reading this has the most amazing day!

Obsessed with Melissa! All her interviews come from the heart. Relatable content and interesting interviews on varying topics across wellness. Love listening to on walks.

    Makes my day
Just started listening to Melissa after following her on social and her workouts. This podcasts has made me laugh, cry, clap in my car completely by myself (don’t knock it till you try it) and have inspired me endless amounts. Do yourself a favor and take the time to listen!

I miss the laugh in the beginning!
I LOVE this podcast!! It’s my favorite and I get so excited every time there’s a new episode. But I miss Melissa’s laugh in the intro! Please put it back in! The joy always starts the episode out so well!

    Melissa’s Authenticity is SO Endearing…
As a woman in her early Forties who has gone through some stuff, I adore Melissa’s accountability, her humility, transformation and commitment to empowering other women, even men to be their best. I look forward to every single episode. Melissa’s guests feel right at home and the most metamorphic conversations unfold. Follow along to experience the magic! Thank you Melissa!

    Needs Improvement
I’m writing this review based on the latest episode with Ann Marks but parts of it apply to other guests too. As much as this was a heartfelt conversation between friends I’m not sure what it was supposed give to the listener. There was no introduction of the guest except for mentioning they’ve been friends for 20 years and even after finishing the episode I don’t know who she is or what she does. Unfortunately, the entire conversation felt all over the place, even unhinged at times, without substance or really leading anywhere. Nothing against crying it out with your friend but that’s not a quality podcast material.

    Nothing ground breaking.
I can’t put my finger on it, but the message she provides just feels amorphous and somehow disingenuous. Hard pass for me.

    Let the guests speak
Loved listening to JS, but unfortunately Melissa spoke over her and always brought the conversation back to her. It’s a theme throughout all of the episodes I’ve listened to. It’s a shame as a listener because it makes the episode feel less valuable and often quite shallow.
  • pialeilani
    infuriating.
a complete narcissist who spends her days ‘doing the work,’ which essentially means either ignoring or exploiting her children, getting colonics, complaining abt her life and salivating over lettuce. it’s extremely uncomfortable to watch her ig presence, and even more disturbing that someone like her has women who look up to her and copy her practices, which are unhealthy, unfounded and reckless. she wakes up miserable every day, then proceeds to desperately cram as many quick fixes as she can find into it in hopes of finding some sort of purpose, which she never does. her reddit thread says it all. the podcast is pointless bc she never allows the guest to tell their story, rather talks over them, and true to form, makes everything abt herself. she would be wise to log off for awhile and live in the real world, but her ego won’t allow it.

    Positive vibes
5 stars because it’s a great podcast. I understand Ronny Kobo must be a great friend but she kinda comes off as an entitled snob on the show.

    Podcast could be better
I love Melissa and MWH- follower and member for years. But this podcast is so hard to follow along, most times I don’t know who she’s interviewing because there’s no formal introduction. The conversations tend to be all over the place, sometimes I feel chaotic listening to it and have to turn it off. BUT the recent episode with Emily Sklar was perfect. Emily kept Melissa on track with almost an outline and really great questions. I wish I saw more of that on Melissa’s-led interviews!

    This changed me
I’ve followed MWH for years and it changed me in more positive ways than I can count. Listening to Melissa’s story in the first episode changed me again. Our stories are different, but they are the same. I feel like I am benefiting from the work she’s done, understanding myself in a new way. Thank you, Melissa.

    No active listening
Melissa brings *everything* back to her. I listen to a ton of podcasts. I have never heard an ‘interviewer’ talk so much about themselves. She really needs to reflect on her purpose here. Is it to talk about herself or to hear from her guests? The host should not be doing the majority of the talking.
  • sarahrrreyna
    Giggley squad!!
Giggler here, that was a fantastic episode, I wrote down so many of hannah’s nuggets and identified with you and Paige. Tyyy🫶

    ALWAYS a wonderful listen
I’ve been a follower of the MWH platform and this definitely is just an extension of what this community is all about. I love the variety of guests that she brings on and there is always something that I feel like I can walk away from. Melissa - you are such a bright light in this world. Thank you for sharing yourself authentically and wholeheartedly!

    Great show

More guests like Dr. Becky & Dr. Amen
The guests like mentioned above and Ben Nentin and Trish Barills. They offer actual amazing factual information that can help so many people!! The guests that align like Danielle Bernstein (Gabby Bernstein is great!!) and Ubab and Lisa Odenweller. Just very vapid, mean, entitled women. Take them away and the like and it’s a 5 star podcast.
  • Kryzzle503
An honest, authentic dialogue with huge value!
If you're seeking clarity and genuine advice on living a good life, you need to listen to this podcast!

Such an inspiration to be your best self
Melissa helps us reconnect with our best selves through practice and mindfulness. Thank you so much, Melissa! Love your guests too!

    The most nourishing inspiring podcast!
I love how magnetic Melissa is and that magnetism definitely translates over to this podcast! Everytime I listen to an episode, I come back home to myself. It’s like taking a grounding deep breath. I love how HER she is. That level of full self expression is so admirable. Thank you for being my expander!! @scoutsobel
  • Fania1717
Danielle episode (we wore what) founder
I listened to entire episode in parts because it was not that engaging and even at the end of it I still didn’t know what she does exactly. I’ve never heard of her or her clothing line…(I think) that’s what she does. Still not so sure.
  • maryleo8
    Skims the surface
I have fully enjoyed MWH’s workouts and energy on the mat. However, her podcasts fall very flat for me: she speaks in superlatives and the interviews are very superficial, lacking depth and variety. Seems that she interviews people very much like herself. And it does worry me when she gives advice like a professional therapist. Very focused on external beauty; her self-referencing every topic makes it hard to really get a feel for her guests.
  • LilMnstrr
    Garbage
It’s really a fascinating sociological study to observe other people actually take MWH’s advice seriously. I truly am mind-boggled by the positive reviews. I used to like her years ago, in the early days of the pandemic, but it’s gotten really weird. If you like to listen to an hour of narcissism
  • Nanacalderon
Not everyone is born to be a Podcast host…
I’ve listen to podcast for almost 10 years now, and have learned that being a great podcast host requires deep listening, and genuinely interest in their guest. Unfortunately this podcast falls short to allow guest sharing their knowledge since Melissa is constantly interrupting with her comments (some out of context too) every single statement they make… kinda annoying and disrespectful in my opinion. It is certainly a skill than can be cultivated but for now is a pass for me. Maybe instead of interviews she should just do SOLO podcast about herself so people know what to expect and don’t get disappointed for looking to listen interview style episodes…
  • JKounter
    Best inspirational podcast
Melissa’s energy is so pure and beautiful! I’ve truly loved all the episodes

    I
I love you but it’s so hard to enjoy the podcast when you make it all about you. The amount of times you say I and make it about you is frustrating. I think you are taking away from the speaker when you ask a question and then make it about yourself with out allowing them to finish.
  • jensgrace27
    Interview with Gabby
I love love Gabby however she consistently interrupted you on this podcast and I am very saddened by this. Stay Blessed
  • Podluv8on
    Frustrating
It is frustrating to listen to a podcast where the guest does not get to finish answering a question. For example, Vani’s daily rituals. She got up to lunch and then briefly started talking about her book. Melissa then started asking her the rapid fire questions, rather then circle back to the daily rituals, which were barely half complete.
  • LeeannRybakov
    So much love
I absolutely love this podcast! As a higher MWH fan for over 6 years now, I was so excited about this new venture. Melissa is kind, honest, and funny. Her episodes always inspire me.

A money-making hack profiting off ED
Shame on you for promoting someone in the obvious throes of a devastating ED. Anything for fame and a buck, huh? Help her. Don’t profit off of someone who is clearly so sick. So shameful.
  • Rachel BG
Disappointed in Half Baked Harvest episode
Incredibly disappointed that Melissa chose to feature Tieghan Gerard of Half Baked Harvest. Having a healthy relationship with food and movement is a core part of Melissa’s message, and her audience includes many people who are in a vulnerable place. Featuring someone who is so unwell is irresponsible, so I hope Melissa will take the feedback she’s gotten from her listeners and fans and take this episode down.
  • chrissy78nur
    Poor guest choice
Shocked that someone with a business based on health would have a guest like Teighan Gerard who is clearly very unhealthy on her podcast. I’m new to the mwh world but definitely second guessing my purchase. I hope Teighan gets the help she clearly needs as she’s built a beautiful business for herself/family. But brushing the subject under the carpet is extremely inauthentic and concerning, never mind a dangerous image to push on young women
  • MKnow24716be
    Gabby Bernstein
Really lovely to hear Gabby in a very relaxed setting, thanks! As far as your children, maybe just stop filming them in the bathroom or bedroom. I have to admit, these moments feel very intrusive and inappropriate. But that way you can still show them a bunch but with a sacred line, no bathroom or bed/ bedroom moments…
  • KendiesG
    Amazing!
Melissa has wonderful energy. Love her podcast, workouts, and general life tips 💕

    Gabby Bernstein Episode
So much interrupting!! It’s incredibly uncomfortable to listen to this podcast. Very surface level conversations all around in every episode.
  • Sophieasteiger
    Love!!!
Melissa is so real, raw, and positive! She makes my day! Also she reminds me so much of The Blonde files podcast! My 2 favorite podcasts!💕💕

    MWH
Melissa and the team have seriously positively impacted my life & I’ve learned to focus and love myself more then ever. Meditations to workouts - I’ve never been a better version of myself. Thank you.

    Loves to hear herself talk
Couldn’t even get through the episode with Chervin. Her constant need to hear herself talk and cut him off with her pointless word fillers was so rude and obnoxious, that I had to stop 10 mins in. She didn’t even let him answers the questions she was asking.
  • Mandyk19941738
    Love me some MWH
I love the fact that you can just say F it and do what feels right to you in the moment, completely unapologetically. I can tell you don’t do this for the IG follows and you’re just not afraid to be yourself. You seem like a bright light! And your kids are also adorable.
  • Kendall Marie Zoppa
    Love it!
Love listening in to hear tips and tricks and the interesting people she has on. Would love if they were longer!! Can’t wait to see where this goes! Great job!!
  • llamalover08
    disappointing
MWH member here just popping in to say that I’m disappointed to see MWH giving quacks like chervin and dr. amen space on this platform (google “dr. amen, controversy” + the article titled “Novak Djokovic's Wellness Guru Is Guiding the Tennis Star's Anti-Vax Behavior”). I love melissa’s energy, meditations, and workouts but—and after a promising start—this podcast is disappointing to me. I hope it won’t just be about hosting IG gurus who sell supplements and spew pseudoscience.

    Feedback
Loveee MWH but struggle listening to interviews bc Melissa interjects so much it feels like it constantly goes off topic and the guest doesn’t finish their thought

Great podcast — inspiration, actionable advice, and positivity
I love listening to this podcast, I really loved the episode with Dr. Amen — it’s actionable, thought provoking, and inspiring.

    Dr Amen Episode
Hi Melissa! I am a big fan of yours and also of Dr. Amens. I was so excited for this episode and was a bit dissapointed. I think you could have interviewed him in a way that has a unique angle that other interviews he has done don’t get at but I felt it was very repetitive and surface level to other interviews he’s done. For example, he talked about 10 things to do if you’re anxious, depressed etc. and you didn’t press on those to get specifics. I think specifics would have been so beneficial for your listeners. It felt like you were complimenting him more than asking him questions. Hope this can improve for future episodes!

Melissa stopped doing her podcast and now just posts informercials for her app. Give us an actual podcast! Your followers follow you for you not for other ppl
