(SPOLIERS) It’s so good! I’ve watched the show through so many times so getting to now listen to the podcast is so much fun! I can’t believe some of the things that are said! Like how the story could’ve went, how Sybil and Matthew may have ended up married together instead of Matthew and Mary! I was shocked! It’s so interesting and I love it. Please make more episodes! I want to listen to more!

Do NOT listen if you’re new to the show! This should be labeled as a strictly re-watch podcast. There are spoilers throughout from the very beginning. I would have given it 5 stars, but I found out about someone dying in the first few minutes! Now that I’ve finished the show, this is a fantastic podcast with interviews of the cast & crew.

Now that the whole series is available on Amazon Prime Video (and I think in Hulu) have you considered doing weekly recaps of each episode???

I love Downton Abbey. My mother begged me to watch the show a few years prior. I remember paying no mind during its syndication. But she sat me down to watch it and I’m glad she did. We are now both huge DA fans. And we just saw the New Era the other night and it was beyond brilliant and a gorgeously shot film. Thank for this podcast.

This podcast is the next best thing to another season in the show. Love to hear from the cast and Mr. Fellows. I do wish you would close the podcast episode with the cast instead of just cutting them off. I love the show, love the podcast, the movies. Please: more Downton Abbey!!!!

I wish you hadn’t given away the ending with the conversation between Mary and Maggie. But I do love these podcasts!

I was so glad to see this podcast pop up while I was going through my third (?) rewatch of the series in preparation for the movie. My major criticism of the podcast is the recycling of audio across multiple episodes. Why are they doing this? It’s a huge disappointment to see that a new episode is in my queue and it’s just a repeat of earlier material from other podcast episodes.

This is such a wonderful podcast. It reflects back to all the old episodes for the past 6 seasons and the movie. It actually gives a opening to A New Era. I can’t wait to see it. Thank you. Best series with so much compassion, love and morals of being human no matter what your stage in life.

Can’t love this enough!

Love the podcast and especially the film background. But, while it’s totally believable that Mary would flirt, but no infidelity. Henry doesn’t deserve that. So no, just no.

Love hearing these. Wish they were longer and more of a in depth character arch dissection/discussion but they’re still very enjoyable.

It is the highlight of my week I love listening to the cast regale us with their experiences of this well written masterpiece.

I am a die hard Downton fan and could’ve cried tears of joy when I discovered this podcast. Then I listened to it… I am not convinced the host has even seen a full episode of Downton, yet she exhibits an over the top “fan girl” persona that is quite embarrassing and very cringe worthy. I find myself repeatedly feeling like she is giving all Americans a bad reputation in her interactions with the cast with her word choice and incessant rambling. The minds behind this podcast could take a lesson from The Gilded Age podcast. Beautifully and artfully executed!

The subject matter gets 5 stars but like, I really wish, like, the use of “literally” and “like,” in like, literally every other sentence could like, be literally cut by 90%.

The first episodes have been enjoyable interviews with creator and cast, but it’s introduced as a re-watch, and it’s certainly not that (yet). Jacqueline Coley is a good host and interviewer, and it feels more pitched toward a US audience, which is fine for me as an American, but others might want to keep that in mind. When the recaps start, I’ll probably come back to review it again.

So Happy to hear this podcast…a relief from Politics!

As a big fan of Downton, I was so excited to accidentally stumble upon this podcast. I love the interviews and insights from the actors. My one complaint, and this is the only reason this review is a 4 star, is that the episodes are too short. I feel as though the eps could easily be 45 minutes to an hour and no one, who is a true fan, would complain.

So glad I stumbled upon this podcast, and it started just as I was looking for something Downton. I look forward to this every week and goes great with Lady Carnarvon‘s podcast. Thanks so much for doing this. Sandy Newton

Love how much the creator/host of the podcast are fans. Spot on about Molesly. I am always so touched when he’s working on the road and struggling and let’s his guard slip with Anna and then immediately asks apologizes for being “self important”. That’s when Kevin Doyle made Molesley one of my favorites.

I discovered the show by accident and from the first episode I got hooked. Shortly after I got my parents hooked too (70 years.) Then my parents got my sister hooked too. We all watched to movie (lovely family memory) Now there’s this podcast and a second movie coming up?? This just made my year!

Delighted and thrilled about revisiting “Downton Abbey” again in this dedicated podcast! I’ve been a long-time fan of “Masterpiece Theatre” now “Masterpiece” on PBS since I discovered it in the late 1990s. “Downton Abbey” follows in that tradition of outstanding shows/series over the years.

So interesting! Can’t wait for the next episode!

I hope this series explores the economic limitations placed on women especially in light of the fact that 2 women are hosting this podcast. The entire series hinged on the fact that Lady Mary couldn’t inherit her own home- which was being largely bankrolled by her mother! We need to discuss this!!

I loved the show and the movie! And now we have a podcast to revisit the cast of a true work of art. Life is getting better! Thank you for the beautiful memories and I can’t wait for the new era.
