MelyogiRelatableI really enjoy your podcast. I found you (Barb) on social media first. There was so much I could relate to. I then found your podcast. The vulnerability and the relationship you and your daughter have is something special. Thank you for sharing your words of wisdom, thank you for inspiring me, and thank you for being relatable. Sending love, peace, and healing ❤️❤️
-

Sarah DowningEnlightening, comforting and relatableThis podcast and its hosts have been so helpful with my personal growth and healing! I’ve been working on healing from CPTSD. Sadly, I’ve struggled to find a therapist who is remotely helpful, so I’ve been helping myself with videos, books and podcasts like this one. This podcast usefully addresses topics that have bothered me for such a long time such as rejection, ghosting, addiction, people pleasing and more. It has helped me to realize that, despite what I might think, I am not alone with these fears and painful experiences. I love that Barb and Michelle candidly talk about their experiences with such topics, making what they say much more relatable than certain teachers who put themselves on pedestals. I honestly feel like they care about helping others with what they share. Thank you to you both and keep up the good work!!!

Carlotta MattoxBarb knows bestI’ve learned more about myself and the feelings I have in a situation by listening to Barbara and Michelle. They are great together and are empowering us in respecting others while having boundaries for ourselves. I don’t communicate well when I’m upset and they teach us to pause and take a moment before reacting to negative interaction. Thank you both for doing what you do and loving each other, it’s a blessing to join you weekly🫶🏼

Dog Mom 93Losing the plot latelyI follow them on social media (and LOVE each and every post) and I really enjoyed the past podcasts. They were so helpful. However and it’s my opinion..the last month or so they are getting rambling & off the plot of the episode. They seem to run out of time to actually talk about the subject and then when they do get to it they don’t really dive in like they use to do. Also a lot of “we will talk about that in another podcast” week after week and they never revisit it. I love them both and their mother and daughter relationship it a pleasure to listen too. I’ll keep listening as I hope they get back on track for me! If you love the last podcasts great! I just noticed a difference in how they cover topics.
-

Mary D'AThank youJust started to listen. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It was perfect timing to hear your episode about making friends with mud. I am in a process of receiving love and forgiveness from self, for self, as I heal. Trauma of great loss. So, so helpful!

-
lorraine.ibclcNot responsible forI listen to the podcast on what I’m not responsible for today. I especially like the part about giving myself some time to respond before saying yes or no. It also reminded me of a gift a friend gave me - she said I’m not against you I’m for me.
-
dmaryelainePositive Path to UnderstandingI have been a listener of the podcast and on social media for some time. I find that your messages inspire us to learn to understand ourselves - key to living a more peaceful existence. Becoming Unbothered podcast has become a springboard for thought for me today for a couple of situations that I need to work on. It’s “a keeper.” Heartfelt gratitude to you, @peaceful_barb, @michellemaros

Team JonasLove these two LadiesEnjoy this mom and daughter duo. They are real and compassionate people. Love all their wonderful conversations.
-
priyankanaharGreat selection but trail off topic at timesI love the topics that are being talked about. Michelle, the daughter seems to talk very slow and many a times get off topic or interrupt her mom which is kind of frustrating many times. I feel Barb has so much insight to share and so much knowledge to offer, but due to these interruptions we listeners lose track. Michelle has good insights too but should pause for Barb to finish. Just for context, I listened to the “Finding closure” episode, it was my first episode from the series. I normally don’t quickly write reviews but I strongly feel this feedback could help the podcast hosts.
-
Timttt123I look forward to their podcast every week!I have been a big fan of Barb and Michelle for several years! This podcast is another extension of their authentic and heartfelt experiences and advice! I love that I can hear them weekly and not just wait to see them in person.

gift box go away!!!Dive right in!I love listening to your show and following you it’s been helping me a lot with my struggles. I like how Barb just dive rights into the topic because that’s what we are here for is to learn and I like the examples you give as well. I appreciate you! 💗
-
B from MaineThank you!Love your podcast and all the encouragement and positivity it brings! Thank you!
-
iamkarennicoleTHANK YOU so much.I would pay a lot of money to sit down and talk with Barb! If I could magically make a genie wish, it would be to have dinner with Barb & Michelle. I wish I had people in my life like them. I LOVE TUESDAYS!!!
-
sundy6161Too wordyI really like the content subjects and I find Barb very soothing to listen to. She’s also very insightful. The daughter, however, brings the quality of the show down in my opinion. If this was just Barb having her own podcast I would be much more likely to be a regular listener. To sum it up, I wish this was just Barb’s podcast and I would guess the content would be conveyed in half the time.
-
RiyfgdsrtbvTherapy in a podcast!I love these episodes. I discovered Barb via instagram and every sign she holds up speaks to me. So validating! And I feel so warm and fuzzy afterwards.
-

-
Steph&PennyThank youI love this podcast so much! I often listen to it when I’m feeling lost and anxious because it brings me a sense of peace and grounding. I love how they speak from knowledge and experiences and are not afraid to talk about their mistakes and imperfections because it makes me feel more “normal” and not so alone. I have learned and implemented so much from this podcast I can’t even list it out at this point. Thank you Barb and Michelle! Please keep being you!
-
RickyS-NYCInsight into daily lifeI am not a big podcast person but I saw a clip of Michelle and Barb regarding friendships and it talked about the precise situation I was going through hit the nail in the head. I’m blown away everytime I listen to an episode that so closely relates to my life and the takeaways I’m able to apply to relationships. Thank you for the great content!

Napolen#1Song for michelleHello - i just started listening to your pod cast. Have been following Barb for a couple of years. But i deleted all social media because sll the negativity you could never get away from. I was looking up a pod cast and your pod cast was in list i might be interested in. Indeed i was. I have enjoyed your pod cast. Have shared it and learning from it. Michelle you mention songs that pump you up. The song Just fine from desiree dawson is that kind of song. Keep up all the great work. Many thanks.
-
Albalb2Wonderful!What a difference this makes in my mindset! Healthy reminders to thoughtfully consider throughout the day. Thank you!
-
LBKitteeeLovely podcastThere are a lot of subjects that we see as taboo in these times we’re living in. Barb and Michelle talk about sensitive subjects and shed light on issues that we sometimes wonder if it’s normal to feel. As a way to calibrate our own mental capacity and how to feel about relationships and certain situations, this is practical and highly helpful information and advice. It helps so much to know where we stand with ourselves and with other people on a daily basis. Thank you to this mother & daughter duo.
-

I absolutely love the interaction between mother and daughter. I have recommended this podcast to all my close friends. Every topic provides a nugget towards living your best life. Well done Barb and Michelle. I can’t wait for each new episode!!
-
Joceym5Genuine & HelpfulI found this podcast through Instagram posts, of Barb displaying positive messages, that resonated with me. I love the show because the topics/ideas discussed are interesting to me and because of how this real mom and daughter duo use their own experience and stories, its easy to see they love each other and want to be helpful and they are. It’s helped me gain perspective and stay positive with whatever Im struggling with. I have been comforted by the conversations and feel like I know them. I wish them continued success. Thank you!
-
crime junkie - honoluluImportant informationThank you for this podcast and the content that you are normalizing. But I would really appreciate it if Michelle could work on not interrupting Barb or cutting Barb off when she’s trying to finish her thought. It’s very distracting and not living a mutually respectful relationship.
-
RamonagknightonRelatable and honestI look forward to these and follow all social media. Barb and Michelle are relatable and trustworthy. The take away here is so much knowledge and understanding of many things that I have experienced. It helps to know I’m not alone and have tools to deal with life. I share these my daughters often. Love them!
-
kannie1406Cozy thoughtful wordsThis feels just like when I sit on the couch at home with my bonus mom and we talk for hours about big feelings and the most important things in life. It is so comfortable to listen to you both share your words and thoughts, advice and wisdom, and vulnerability with us. Thank you.

DebElkinsTake the time to listen and follow these ladiesEverything Michelle and Barb speak resonates with my heart and soul. If you only subscribe and listen to one “self care” podcast, this should be the one. The mother/daughter dynamic is amazing and their life experiences they share along the way, with their thoughts on mindfulness and more, are a gold mine. Thank you ladies for sharing your guidance… I can’t love you, your podcast and the social media posts enough. ~Debbie
