Really love the nuanced views of this show. Great for any Colorado native to learn more about the state. Also has been really great for the kids. Solid show for anyone interested in climate change, Colorado ecosystems, agriculture and the intersection between science culture and politics.

3 series so far - 3 wins. Keep going strong!
I first listened to your episodes on water, and was so impressed by the thought, depth, and quality that I went back and listened to your previous episodes on coal. When the current episodes on air came out, I couldn’t wait to listen. I wasn’t disappointed in the least. Thank you for taking complex topics and making them accessible, understandable, informative, and engaging!

    Laws of Notion
I am really enjoying listening to this years Water Under Pressure series. I have also started last year’s series on coal. Both issues are critical to the state of Colorado and the West. I am glad you are taking on big subjects related to climate change. Kristan is an excellent presenter.

    Informative and Insightful; truly amazing
I have always been passionate about the environment and curious about the good/bad effects that we as humans have on our planet Earth. This thoughtfully produced podcast shines an honest and wholesome light on not just the coal industry, but most importantly shining a light on the people caught in the transition as well. I learned a lot and felt such a connection to the lives of the individuals interviewed in this amazing podcast. Thank you for documenting this, truly.

    Honest, thoughtful reporting
Finally, an energy transition story that centers both the science of climate change AND the real people affected by the sunset of coal. Thank you for crafting such a nuanced, complicated story that captures this challenging but necessary moment in history.

    An incredible CO podcast rising
So impressed by this work and this story. The town of Craig has a great deal to offer, and hearing about the people and their struggles and opportunities give me a deeper understanding of Colorado’s history. I never thought of towns honing in on one industry and how that comes to define their identity. And what that means when that industry fades away. This is such an important look at a people and a place. Thank you for crafting it so beautifully and sharing it with us.
