    Informative & Captivating
Outstanding, David deserves a 6 figure payout simply for the detail this podcast gets into. I found every episode extremely informative and well formatted, and the last 4 or 5 episodes were captivating. I could have done without the background noises but overall one of my favorite podcasts (I’ve listened to the entire thing 4 times)

    Stop the sounds
The information is great and very well researched. Unfortunately they decided to put very strange and distracting background sounds throughout the podcast making some areas incredibly hard to focus on and follow

    Great information
I love the way the information is disseminated. I cannot hardly handle the added sounds. I almost quit listening but made it through to listen to the entire series. Love the post. Hate the weird sounds added in.

    Best ever on 9/11
The level of content is the best I have found. Great production. You can learn from this podcast. Thank you, Joe San Antonio, TX.

    The best out there
This is 100% the most thorough, intricate, and detail orientated fixation on the history of our nation’s darkest day I think I’ve ever come across. Over the past year since discovering it, I’m on my fourth time through listening to it in its entirety. It even poised me to finally go and visit the museum (3 times now). Since childhood, the events of 9/11 have always fascinated me, and now as an adult I received answers to so many questions I’ve developed within myself over the years. Waiting for one last episode hopefully soon.

    Good pod
    Reminds me of that tragedy

    Excellent Podcast
Very thorough and well-paced, to the point of feeling like an audiobook, but the inserted interviews/archival audio make it even better. The background music is also a great addition and gives it an thrilling/haunting feel. Truly fantastic. Thank you for putting this together!

    Reliving trauma
I like all the interviews you do. Well produced. Bush had a memo on his desk and did nothing and then plunged the Middle East into chaos. The world still suffers from the gaping wounds of the past.

    Excellent Series
This a very thorough series that outlines the roots of 9/11 and the histories of the major players. Narrator speaks clearly and at a great speed. My only complaint is the HORRIBLE dings, electric guitar pings, and other obnoxious sounds that are inserted at every break. They are much louder than the rest of the podcast and are startling.

    Unsettling noise; unsettling content
Background sounds add to the intensity. Seems fitting to me. I wanted to learn more about the background of Al Qaida and what happened / failed to happen to allow the plot to be carried out. Also appreciated the detail about how FBI and CIA investigations are conducted.

    Background noise is awful
I was enjoying the podcast until a horrible background noise like Cicadas started and continued. Painful.

    Well Researched, Terrible Background Music
Clear, linear timelines, firsthand accounts, clear, concise and interesting. The background music made listening very difficult

    Nuanced, thorough and entertaining
I’ve never written a review but was revisiting today and it’s insane it only has a 4/5 star average. One of the most interesting and well researched podcasts I’ve ever listened to

    Super informative
Generally really well researched episodes. It’s not necessarily new info if you’ve read a lot of the source materials, but the interviews with the agents and investigators involved are really cool. Background music is a little too high in the mix at times, but on the whole, really well done and worth a listen—especially in the wake of Afghan withdrawal part two. Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it, etc.

    Very thorough
I really enjoy this- it’s well researched and very complete. I like the interviews too.

    Background Noise
I love the information but whatever the random generated background noise is,should go away. I’m going to try one more episode but if you could go in and re-master and get rid of whatever the heck that is it have a good show on your hands!

    Background sounds kill it
Really informative listen, but the ticking sounds in the background at times and randomly placed, awkwardly long sounds and music are SUPER annoying and unnecessary. Bummer..

The most detail I’ve seen in a piece of 9/11 coverage
One of the best documentary pieces on the subject of 9/11 I’ve listened to. I love the attention to detail, interviews and the vast number of perspectives David gives. I’ve loved being able to comeback and listen to this as the episodes are released over time. We need more content like this. Great job!

    Excellent! Need more.
Hey David, this is an amazing history of everything that led up to 9/11. I’ve listened to the episodes multiple times to digest the information. The little details and the motivations of all involved are so interesting. Will more episodes be coming out? The story seems almost complete. Please keep up this outstanding work.

    Where Are The Episodes?
Really great listen and super informative, in the rare case that there is a new episode. The music and sounds are weird, and seem pretty unnecessary but whatever, the information and story-telling are real good. I just can’t seem to figure out why there are two and now approaching three months sometimes between episodes. I understand research and editing is a factor, but I would imagine a lot of people unsubscribed or just lost interest in the storytelling while waiting.

    Music Ruins It
I can’t concentrate and follow the narrative with that awful music going. Seriously, try listening to your own podcast sometime. You’ll see how the music ruins it.

    Captivating
Very well done! Ep. 5 took so long I almost forgot about the Podcast but as soon as the episode was published, I’m drawn right back in! Keep up the good work.

    Excellent Research
Great podcast on the years leading up to the 9/11 attacks. The host has researched everything that led to the attacks starting in 1957. He gives great insight into Osama Bin Laden and the Bin Laden family. Excellent podcast for wanting to learn the facts and political history of the US and middle east countries and the organizations and people in relation to the 9/11 attacks. Looking forward to episode 5.

    Great information, distracting music
Podcast is very informative, but music is distracting at times.

    👍🏻
    I actually like the music
  • vicwakebart
Content great. Execution and Production Poot.
The content is so informative, but it’s overshadowed but the odd production choices. The instrumental music that persists throughout is anxiety-inducing and unnecessary. It distracts from the content and adds nothing. I stopped listening to one episode because the music was so unnerving. Add to that the breathless rapid pace of the host and you have one very unsettling show.
  • abroshar
    The soundtrack is so uncomfortable.
Good content, I’d like to hear more of it, but the instrumental sound behind the narration creates an effect that feels like you’re listening to it in a closet and someone is pounding on the door. It’s so creepy. I like creepy things, but this is just hostile. :(
  • Johnny B. Mohrrior
    Okay but SLOW DOWN
Seriously, SLOW DOWN THE NARRATION. This isn’t an effin race, David.
