If you’re looking for a smart, entertaining, balanced discussion of current St. Louis Cardinals news, this should be your favorite podcast. Too many of my fellow Cardinals fans are sniveling, whiny, complainers who are never satisfied with anything. That kind negativity spills over into almost every Cardinals podcast. Caleb and Mike Noble also have complaints about the Cardinals organization, but they’re knowledgeable, reasonable fans. They can analyze the org without making it personal. When the front office signs a free agent, or the manager removes a player from the starting lineup, it doesn’t become the foundation for some outlandish, hyperbolic rant. It doesn’t become a rosy picture of idealism either. They talk about the Cardinals news of the day like adults. I know that seems like a low bar, but I’m convinced most Cardinals podcasters hate their team. They live life just one John Mozeliak transaction away from a heart attack, where passion for a team becomes knuckle-dragging idiocy. This father/son duo is not like that.
