    Wise and compassionate
Incredible podcast with two smart and kind hosts who know what they are doing and also know how to explain it. One of the best podcasts out there for many issues beyond the title.

    Wonderful — honest, and informative
This podcast has been an incredibly helpful adjunct to my psychotherapy. Steve and Reid come across as highly knowledgeable and honest, which is a nice combo. Their conversations have reinforced much of what I believe, guided me at times, and provided many new insights. I’ve even enjoyed topics that I didn’t think pertained to me. Besides the content, I love how they interact with one another — setting a great example for those of us who grew up in homes where love, respect, and kindness were far from the norm. I’ve come to look forward to their new releases each week and have gone back many times to replay some episodes.

    This has been my path
The episode on adult development really landed for me. I’m 65 and a retired school counselor. So many of the theories referenced are familiar and they are still relevant. I’m feeling affirmed and grateful. The quest to wake up is as exciting as ever.

    Wonderful podcast
Really appreciate this podcast’s thoughtful, balanced approach to psychedelics and the hosts are skilled interviewers. I was so moved by the latest episode about veterans.

    Favorite show!!
This is my favorite podcast! I love all of the information given in relation to psychedelics, but also just mental health in general. I share the show with friends often. Keep up the amazing work!!

    Thought provoking
I Stumbled upon this podcast while searching how psychedelics can help treat depression and anxiety in conjunction with CBT therapy. Having been on medication for depression and anxiety for over 25 years and psychotherapy, I have been in search of an alternative to medication and therapy only for help. The information and progressive thinking by the hosts is not only mindful , but also been eye opening. I am enthralled by this podcast and by the hosts sharing their intimate personal encounters and encouraging words. This podcast has given me new insights and perspectives on myself and my treatment options for depression and anxiety. Thank you for the wonderful work you do and the positivity. It makes me want to try harder to be the best I can be!

Hey there, I love listening to the podcast. So many things to learn here, so good that all the docs have the experience of psychedelics that makes them more reliable and more relevant to the space of the psychedelics. I was an alchohloic and definitely u know what happened at the end. i started with mushroom and learned so many things. It’s about 4 month now and maaan I’m on 4x in my life. Waiting to go peru for the ceremony. Anyway, thanks docs 🌈🙏🏻

NTF is a GEM for KAP patients
As someone who begin Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) in January, I was lucky to find this show a few weeks before my first KAP session. Dr. Steve and Dr. Reid are knowledgable, experienced and trustworthy. I enjoy the balance of evidence based science, wisdom, and humor. I found this show to be relevant and useful while I was preparing for my medicinei journeys. I especially found the discussions on set and setting, intentions and Integration extremely valuable. I also do not mind the rare curse word and find it reassuring

    Great Show
Thank you for bringing up the traditional use of psychedelics as most podcasts only talk about the clinical uses ( which don’t relate to or leave out a huge part of the culture)

    Changing my life
I’m relatively new to this subject and have been on a mission to find reputable information via podcast and this is it. Highly recommend!

    Great content and format
Great general better living advise, not just psychedelics. Many thanks to you - I love the info and insights you’re putting out for the world. Love the discussions, perspectives, honesty. I’ve shared your podcast episodes with many

    Thank you
I wanted to express my gratitude to you guys for putting together really pertinent information for navigating this landscape. The personal experiences and insights you share are meaningful to me and very relatable. I really appreciate your latest episode on parenting. So many truths. Be Well, Jim

    Wow! Great stuff.
So glad I stumbled on this podcast. I’ve only listened to about a dozen episodes so far, but have found the content, organization, and delivery of the show to be really excellent. I think one of really cools thing about this podcast is that it is still very educational even for those (like myself) who do not have a serious interest in psychedelics. This show will very likely be of interest for any practitioner or person interested in the healing arts. As a practicing clinical psychologist, here are possible ideas for future episodes. (Surely you have touched on many of the topics in the existing episodes!) -Case studies: successful addiction recovery, and unsuccessful -Case studies: successful trauma recovery, and unsuccessful -Case studies: successful complex trauma recovery, and unsuccessful -Case studies: successful OCD treatment, and unsuccessful -Ideal candidates for psychedelic therapy, and who should avoid it (e.g., “personality disorders?” Bipolar depression? Psychotic spectrum disorders? ADHD? ASD?) -Defining “success” in any treatment -Do males tend to seek psychedelic treatment more? If so, why? -Stigma and attitudes towards psychedelic assisted medicine -Transmission of trauma -Psychosocial effects of psychedelic ceremony -Role of psychedelic medicine in formation of clarity -Better understanding the factors that make a “bad trip” more likely. Investigating potential correlation between trauma and “bad trips.” -Oregon’s new regulation framework for psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy -Ketamine: Addressing return to depressed baseline -How to identify substance abuse in general -Investigation of the phenomenon of mass-delusion (e.g., organized religion, official (govt.) conspiracy theories) Thanks for such an excellent podcast.

    Enlightening
This podcast is the reason I am becoming increasingly confident that these psychedelic medicines might help me in my own life.

Not just psychedelics, these are good concepts for all
I started listening to this podcast because I was interested in the work being done in psychedelic medicine, and am considering a career in psychedelic medicine. I kept listening to the podcast because the content provided is informative without being too dense. Then this became my favorite podcast because of how curious, authentic, and aware the hosts are. 10/10 would recommend.

    I am changed
I’ve not, in the past, ever really been a big podcast listener and am relatively late to the game. But through my own journey with psychedelic assisted psychotherapy both in academics and my personal life I’ve leaned into other avenues for information. This show has been my Eskimo to the podcast world and is a beautiful collaboration of skilled minds and gentle voices. I wish I could be in a place to afford the one on one time with either of these guys… I’m hooked and look forward to each new release and the deep dive into past discussions. Thank you

    Quality
There are many podcasts on this subject. I find this one most informative. The hosts speak well. (“So, like actually absolutely, you know…” is not a phrase you will here.) They think before responding. They listen to each other and their guests. They acknowledge the limits of their expertise. Their humor is gentle and always secondary to the topic.

Started listening for the name, staying for the wisdom
The episode I listen to today mentioned going to a beach house concert, and I knew I would be a lifelong listener. I’ve been listening for a couple months now, and each episode has me more passionate and excited about the intersectionality of psychedelics and psychology. This podcast has played a major part in the specificity of my career goals and each week I can’t get enough of the information they provide. Keep up the fantastic work.

    Sweet goodness
This is my favorite podcast. The hosts and guests are so informative and always come back to the point of the conversation or answer the question that is asked. The hosts and guests break down and explain all of the terms that some may not know, which I thoroughly appreciate because I am apart of the “some”. One of my favorite things about the podcast is how the hosts interact with one another and their guests. In some podcasts the hosts will cut off their guests or one another which can be slightly frustrating and distracting. These two don’t, they’re respectful, and let each other and guests finish their thoughts and stories. They’re also so calm and have a bit of humor which makes the listening even better. I really enjoy and appreciate the content that they share, but how their personalities come through and how they show up in the podcast really makes it stand out from the rest.

Seriously good stuff. Food for the soul.
I love tuning into this podcast whenever I need a reminder that mindfulness, healing and radical growth is possible within our oh so disconnected world! And I definitely share about it often with fellow psychonauts and those with a focus on growth. I typically only listen to podcasts that engage me in revealing my inner self and give me a new perspective. And Steve and Reid definitely blow my mind open every time I give this podcast a listen!

    Thank you
I just listened to your most recent episode and I just wanted to thank you guys for giving me the space to finally feel gratitude for the universe since the past few days. Three days ago I told my partner I needed space. I don’t know what the future holds for me but this episode allowed me to feel all of my feelings and just accept them for what they are in this moment. I am conflicted and sad and completely uncertain of how to proceed forward. I have just wanted an answer and to stop feeling this discomfort. But listening to your podcast has helped teach me that this discomfort is an opportunity for growth. I have not been fulfilled with my partner lately but I know relationships are not always happy. He’s a beautiful human being and I long for a space with him that feels safe again, a space where we have rituals and are overly generous again. I feel like that has been gone for some time and I fear my lack of fulfillment from the past months is a sign that things really just need to end. That it’s time we move on to grow separately. I don’t know if I want to keep putting my energy towards this relationship. And another part of me is so fearful that I’ll miss out on something beautiful if I don’t… an opportunity to grow alongside each other. I know I need time and to care for myself within this chapter of uncertainty. So, thank you for putting out this episode and helping me feel valid in all the thoughts I’ve had the last few days. When I started the episode I was starting to feel like maybe I should be with him and towards the middle I was thinking maybe I should go and at the end I was left without a definite answer. But that’s okay! I was given the space to feel all of those things and feel valid for thinking them! I am grateful to the universe for aligning this.

    Yes !!! Give me more
Steve and Reid give me so much hope. I have had 2 + years of counseling and been on antidepressants. I love finding people with similar backgrounds to mine and hearing how they arrived to where they are. I am so enthusiastic of the work that is happening in Utah, my home state. Steve and Reid I hope to meet you someday. Keep doing what you are doing.
  • mungerbean
    Listen to this podcast!
I love this podcast and religiously listen to every episode. The topics Steve and Reid cover are insightful and relevant. Steve and Reid are great hosts—honest, open-minded, funny, and not too quick to judge or oversimplify complex ideas. Nothing but respect for these guys and the work they’re doing.

    Love this pod!!
This podcast has helped me regain perspective on life when I feel myself falling back into negative thought patterns or habits. It’s refreshing and I always feel better after listening to an episode. I’m an undergrad on the path to becoming a therapist or psychologist and hope to be involved with administering psychedelic therapy. I’m always assured this is what I want to do when I listen to this podcast. You guys are awesome and I always appreciate your humility and vulnerability.

    Great insight.
This was helpful to me as a patient to hear right at the time i needed it. Thank you for sharing your inner critic and saying it’s not just you. Very happy to have found this podcast it has been very educational for me. And given me better tools to use as i navigate the healing process with Ketamine. Having ptsd and suffering with depression it’s been life changing. I have had to do the work and continue to learn and grow. Thank you keep up the great work!

    Challenging my behaviors
So many nuggets of wisdom as I listen and synthesize how I can improve my therapy sessions and life in general. I was just expressing self-defeating behavior of my binge eating and kept asking myself, “why is this part of my life so difficult?” I realize I need to feel some discomfort and ask “what is the pain?” and not “why do I have this addiction?” Thanks for sharing.
  • WeatheredFace
    Enjoying the show!

Like a fly on the wall
I love how deep this podcast goes. Especially the episode about spirituality. I feel like I’m at a party with very smart people and I get to be a fly on the wall for their conversations. Thank you for putting this out into the world.
