These two have lost it. No longer clean. No longer entertaining. Becoming obnoxious….can’t stand the crazy laughter about nothing. Too impressed with themselves. They don’t even really discuss the show anymore. I’m out.

I watched the whole series before finding out about this podcast. Went back to start it over episode by episode so I could hear what Mary and Blake had to say. I fell in love with their Outlander podcast first (they are the only reason I love podcasts now!). Their insight is always interesting and fun to hear. They always bring to light things I failed to see or catch on to.

Even though I didn’t agree with every take, I LOVED listening. Honestly, I had already watched the show, but decided to rewatch when I found this podcast so I could feel like I was in a community! I’ll definitely be watching other things from Mary and Blake media. PS please keep giving every character nicknames- way too many Ethel’s 😂

My son told me to watch The Last Kingdom. It’s not usually my type of show. Your podcast helps me understand what’s going on in The Last Kingdom! I’m like Mary and am lost on the names and sometimes even the plot. But after listening to the podcast, it clears it all up for me. I am really enjoying it. I’m a long time listener of all your other podcasts!

🛡I found this podcast when I started Last Kingdom a couple months ago, and quickly couldn’t wait to watch an episode so I could hear Mary and Blake’s take on what happened. I’ve now started rewatching both Outlander and Bridgerton to listen back to all those amazing episodes. So glad I found these two and their media of podcasts. It’s like listening to two friends keep me company while I work each day!

Very few podcasts are this gripping, funny ,and serious all at the same time. So much so that I can’t stop listening to it. I’m almost done with TLK series and so glad I found this podcast. The recaps- the good the bad the predictions! I’ve had many LOL moments with Mary & Blake’s sharp Witt. And… I’ve watched the Outlander series twice over but now want to go back and listen to your podcast on the series. Only draw back…. Is that I will be very far behind my audible books 😂 This is a must listen to if you’re a fan of the shows they’ve covered.

Just discovered this duo. I like them overall. And maybe this is a little harsh, but I wish they would have done a little more research on Norse mythology, culture in understanding some of the scenes that they dismissed. For example, the scene with Elfwynn and the crow comes directly from Norse mythology and how the crow is seen as a protector or in some cases a prophesy from the Gods. Eric is her father. So I took that scene as him guiding her to the danger in front of her and trying to protect her. The television series Vikings is set in the same time period and would explain more the significance of the crows than this series since it mostly focused on Saxons. Anyway, I still enjoyed listening to the pair. I enjoyed their insights as ppl involved in film and television. I would definitely recommend listening to this and many more of their podcasts.

I found this podcast from Mary & Blake’s other podcast for Outlander. I was hooked on Last Kingdom after one episode, but what fueled my fire was the witty, insightful, and hilarious banter between these two. I binged all five seasons, while flipping back and forth between the show and these podcasts, in a little less than a fortnight. Thank you for the entertaining show!

Mary and Blake are the king and queen of podcasting tv shows. Definitely check out Outlander, Bridgerton, and This Is Us.

And then you brought Outlander into my life and I binged all seasons within a couple of months. I’ve recommended Outlander to so many people and it has become one of my favorite shows of all time now. So thank you 😊 You guys are fantastic! I love your discussions and banter. I discovered the Mary & Blake podcasts while looking for discussions for the latest season of Outlander. What a gem I have found! I love not only Outlander, but also love the This is Us podcast as well. I started watching the Last Kingdom simply because Mary & Blake were talking about this show. My husband and I love this (new to us) show! We don’t watch many shows together and we are having so much fun! Your commentary makes me smile and laugh out loud. I look forward to your podcasts and also recently started listening to the Bridgerton episodes as well. 😊

I’ve listened to Mary and Blake’s ‘Outlander’ podcast from the beginning and they feel like old friends at this point. So of course as I finally got hooked on ‘The Last Kingdom’ I had to start listening to their podcast along with it. I had actually tried to get into the show twice before, and tried for a third time just because I wanted to follow along with this podcast. Blake has excellent observations about the technical aspects of the show and calls out things I hadn’t noticed or fully appreciated, and Mary has great insights on the characters. Their conversation flows and is natural - you can tell these two are married! Highly recommend #gonerdclango

Finally caught up with the podcast after a serious binge lol absolutely love your guys dynamic and can’t wait for you guys to get to the end of season 5 and eventually the movie when it’s released! Just started on the Harry Potter podcast as well! Love your guys perspective & nerd talk! ( also Mary, I’m told I’m too bold and honest at times 😅 great minds think alike!)

I’ve loved listening to each episode. Even though I haven’t watched the show in a while I am able to keep up with what is happening.

Fun podcast but…Blake has some great insights into the Last Kingdom episodes. Too bad they condensed the second half of season 4 so they could be ready for the release of season 5 and then only did one episode of the last season of TLK. Why not finish???? Very disappointing!

I have been a long time listener of Mary and Blake’s podcasts starting with Outlandercast. This podcast of The Last Kingdom does not disappoint! Mary and Blake have a great banter and really care about their listeners. I love the way they lay out each episode with their rating and the good, bad, and great. Mary & Blake are the best! I love their chemistry and the way they layout their podcast with their Good, Bad, and Great! The music and sounds they add in are also perfect. I listened to their outlander podcast first last year and I am so glad they are doing another favorite show of mine, The Last Kingdom! I feel so privileged to have stumbled upon their podcasts!

This is the perfect companion for watching The Last Kingdom. The plot and characters on the show can be confusing at first, so having Mary and Blake to “discuss” the show with makes it that much more entertaining. I love all of Mary & Blake’s hilarious commentary, banter, and explanations.

I thoroughly enjoyed my first watch of The Last Kingdom and have been eagerly awaiting season 5. This is the perfect companion to really dig into the details on rewatch. I love the technical notes from Blake about cinematography and direction etc that I tend to miss. And Mary makes me laugh out loud at least once an episode! Give it a listen!

For those of you who are not familiar with Mary & Blake do yourself a favor and check them out, you won’t be disappointed. They bring a brilliant mixture of endearing character interpretation and comic exposition to all their shows. I’ve been enjoying their podcasts since Outlander premiered years ago. I was so excited to hear them do their thing with TLK and it’s been just as entertaining as i knew it would be. Blake is a fellow history nerd and Mary, who is not, is hilariously cute coming at all these historical names and situations. They are both incredibly knowledgeable about production methods in the entertainment industry which brings a lot of depth to all their shows. Highly recommend this podcast and all their podcasts on Mary & Blake Media!

Though late to the game podcasting The Last Kingdom (already 4 seasons in) - glad you came. I’ve listened to a different TLK podcast all 4 seasons twice thru and liked it a lot. Hoping Mary warms to Uhtred at some point or this podcast will be a drag. I fell in love with him as a boy and why his instinct/actions to protect his half sister as a child didn’t convince Mary he’s a hero, not sure what will do it. About his age/maturity: Season 1 books 1

I stumbled on The Last Kingdom during Droughtlander and it quickly became one of my very favorite series. I was so excited that Blake & Mary started this podcast because it gives me an excuse to rewatch the whole series. This podcast is fantastic, just like all of Blake & Mary’s podcasts. I get so excited for each new episode!
