MetasketchPretentious, intentionally dense, and inaccessibleI would recommend anyone interested in clear concise accessible communication to check out this podcast as an example of a wide array of habits to avoid. As a 20+ year fan of integral meta-theory, this podcast misses an important lesson from integral’s most important figure. Ken Wilber his intentionally studying the writing and speaking of Alan Watts to try and tune in to a ways to make esoteric subjects interesting and accessible. I’m afraid that a discussion like this podcast does more damage than good, especially for people newer to the subject -if they hear this kind of inaccessible and buzzword laden discussion, and think that this is what integral amounts to, they will understandably walk away assuming it’s not for them. I am genuinely interested in what this podcast might get around to saying, if they can get past their communication issues.
