TennGIMurphy and CarvilleI am so sick and tired of these two and all the other political pundits and their arm chair quarterbacking. If they are so informed and savvy about what it takes to win a campaign, why aren’t they on a ticket somewhere? And despite their bickering both expressed confidence that Harris would win the election. I acknowledge that the Dems totally blew it and aren’t mounting even a marginal defense to Trump. However, I’m not sure the problem is resolved by time (as Murphy suggested). Personally, I’m not inclined to vote for another weak-willed Democrat and voting Republican is a non-starter. I’m ready to explore the possibility of a new party.

Tulip.beRemarkable showFinally a show offering nuanced perspectives on our social woes. The episode on the « Identity Trap » is truly enlightening.
-
jwc118TerribleOne of the great things i like about a podcast is the ability to press people on their answers. I feel like she does a decent job on this when interviewing Will Hurd. The interview with Vivek Ramaswamy is all talking points with little push back.
-
BrianonQAReally good episodeI really enjoyed the Kenny Loggins interview. Insightful questions and answers

free market maniacGreat ShowMs. Hoover is an excellent interviewer and the topics of focus are always on point. I look wmfurward to it every week.

enelsonpaWhat a Great Interviewer! We know Ms Hoover is a first class TV political journalist. This is my first time hearing her as a podcast interviewer. The 7/30 podcast of her interviewing Drs. Gounder and Jha on the COVID Delta variant was really informative, as she clicked through all the complex details making the dire public health situation more clear. For potential interviewees, you will be well served for what you want to communicate to the world by doing a show on her podcast.

QU3TZALC0ATLGreat show and great podcast!Always interesting with relevant guests and a moody at questions. This is a rare broadcast that can walk the fine line of being impartial but critical in these polarized times.
-
florflor0In depth thoughtful discussionsI love the show’s fresh and honest approach to current events, while refraining from taking sides. It provides a better alternative to the contrived mainstream media model, maintains the highest value of production week to week. In a media environment that tends to favor click baiting quick headlines, firing line offers meaty substance and often deep dives into complicated issues. I respect how the producers are unafraid to challenge ideologies of its audience.

Jordan SalcitoFavorite new podcast!I love Firing Line on television and am thrilled it's now available in podcast form as well. Margaret is an exceptional host, asking well-informed, hard-hitting questions and informing her listeners about policy and politics like no one else. Her guests are outstanding, too. The show is second to none.

Carol JeffriesFiring Line with Margaret HooverThe perfect topic and distinguished guest- knowledgeable and experienced at the highest level in the field of economics. Ms. Hoovers’s savvy questioning got to the heart of the matter as always, mirroring the questions the public has on the subject. As always eliciting the smart answers only someone at the top of this field, like Larry Summers, could answer with the necessary authority. This program offers an education weekly, based on the free, fair exchange of ideas at the highest level. A great asset to the national discourse. - Dianne Alexander
