    Great show
I’ve been vegan for over 20 years and vegetarian for 27 out of the 30 years prior to being vegan. I thought I knew everything. This podcast is great for my short attention span. It has everything from science, philosophy, motivational, and beyond. Love it!

What a wonderful, thoughtful and helpful podcast
I discovered Marian Erikson’s wonderful Plant-Based Briefing podcast while searching for something else and what a happy accident! She finds, curates and shares great resources and has introduced me to many other really wonderful folks through her efforts. I have learned so much from her and the curated nature keeps it fresh and interesting each time. What important work this is! The podcast sounds very professional and is well-produced and edited. Thanks so much for all the care and hard work you put into the podcast Marian!

Info great, AI voice is unbearable
For the love have any human on the planet read the great content you’ve written, I can’t listen to this.

    Good content; poor delivery
The content is always interesting, fresh and well explored. However, the narrator sounds like an AI bot. C’mon lazy people, read the copy with your real human voice.

My "Health Stack Morning Routine" starts with Plant Based Briefing!
Neuroscientist interested in goal-setting emphasize the importance of a healthy early morning routine. My routine starts with the Plant Based Briefing podcast while I drink two glasses of water; make coffee and tea; and get outside in the early morning sun to do some garden maintenance. I always learn something new. I thoroughly enjoyed the series on Earth care in the run up to Earth Day, and appreciate how Marian Erickson references other episodes that are tied to the current topic. Not only have I learned new information for my plant based journey, but appreciate the panoply of sources that Marian uses. I have learned more sources for plant-based living that emphasize the environment, health, and compassion if this lifestyle. If you want a daily dose of inspiration subscribe to Plant-Based Briefing!

    Life changing podcast
I converted to a vegan diet over the pandemic. It started with quitting sugar (after reading a NYTimes article about how sugar contributes to depression among other ailments) and realizing how much better I felt. My skin looked better too! Then I discovered a whole food plant based lifestyle thanks to podcasts: Nutrition Facts Dot Org, The Exam Room, and this one. Thank you for your work by sharing such helpful info! I’m into health, and appreciate your ethical perspective.

    My Daily”Read”
The BEST podcast. I have a busy life and cannot always read the articles, webpages, etc. that I’d like to in order to keep up with what is happening in the veg/vegan world. This podcast is a truly vital link for me and I recommend it without reservation!

    Wonderful resource
I love this podcast, which is a concise, clearinghouse, if you will, of all things plant based eating. She combs the latest and best information out there, and puts it in bite-sized pieces to help us on our journey to health, both in our own lives and for the planet.

    Big breakfast & dinner fan
Love tofu. These meals make camping sound fun. Can’t wait to hear part 2. I am a fan of morning oats with fruit. I can definitely relate to having trouble with lunch ideas as well.

The Best Great Reset podcast ever!
How about this? When carnivorous space aliens come down and begin feasting on human flesh due to their superior technology and intellect, the podcast host exclaims “I’ll just “convince” them to reject carnivorism and become vegans!” And of course they do, because liberal snowflakes are so irresistibly convincing and articulate and apparently not very tasty. But here’s the kicker, humans compromise and agree to “donate” human muscle cells so that the aliens would have a ready and ample supply of lab-grown meat, in case they fall off the wagon and revert to their traditional dietary habits. All this liberal far fetched drivel to open the listening audience to these ideas: 1, that everyone will become vegan to save the planet, and 2. those that don’t will naturally need and have a taste for this highly energy intensive “lab grown Franken-meat”. She (the host) is clearly delusional, and this coming from a plant-based food guy, because this plant-based way of eating I chose was a choice among a natural myriad of choices, and a State-mandated vegan diet would be a short-lived disaster, entirely out of the question, particularly since vegans tend toward veganism because they are elitists and couldn’t stand the thought of being “common”. Vegans claim to be pacifists, but while that may be true, it is more than that. Vegans are vegan because of the religiosity of it, that it puts them on a higher spiritual plane by doing nothing but abstaining and doing or buying “special things”. It is a basic form of self-idolatry which rejects a traditional God, usurping Him by becoming an all peaceful, non-violent being with a very clean colon. Vegans typically get their sense of self-worth from their degree of dietary and philosophical purity, which makes them highly unstable. So, in a nutshell, I’m really not a big fan of this podcast as it was full of liberal, Statist, socialist drivel, and not much useful information. I’d stick with “Nutrition Facts”.

    Quick, Informative, and Relaxing
I could listen to Marian all day. She's straight to the point, extremely informed, and nonconfrontational. She provides the facts without infusing guilt into the equation, and her voice is so soothing to listen to. The short clips are the perfect amount of time for this quick educational hit—long enough to provide detail but short enough to keep my attention. Keep the episodes coming!
