Standard chicWhat I needed to hear June 6 showMatt has been part of both my business and personal growth. His passion for homes built well is what I have always believed to be the best approach. As a business owner I believe we should use products that will not end up in a landfill in less than 10 years and install them in the best manner possible. As a Christian carrying business debt, the June 6,25 show was exactly what I needed to hear. All too often, as a business owner, we believe we are on a path not traveled and alone in it. He shares personal experiences that help the rest of us navigate our own paths. I’ve been a strong follower of all of Matt’s content for… a very long time, well over 10 years. Thank you Matt and God Bless you, your family, and your guidance.
-
Victor PopaThank you!As a fellow builder and follower of Christ I want to say thank you for your time and dedication you put into this podcast. I look forward to each episode every week. God bless you.

cdan100Great Builder, great content.Man, such a great builder. An example to all of us, and an inspiration. Not just good buildings, but good business, and good principles. I highly recommend.
-
serriolThank you!!!I'm very lazy for writing reviews but after the episode 169 on mold prevention and air quality with Sean Harris, I wanted to take a min, as home owner exploring to build a new home, to thank Matt for all the information provided and for pushing the whole industry to build better homes. This episode was a service to society!!!
-

thoughtful designGreat podcast! As an conscientious interior designer who thoroughly thinks through helping clients with their residential and commercial build projects, I have learned SO much from this series (pod casts and videos) on how building science is vital to our overall comfort, health and well being - and equally as important to our environment! Just wish this methodology was standard everywhere!
-
Vinci smilesMust listen for Architectural DesignersGreat insight & important deep dives - just stumbled on it & have forwarded it to builders I work with as well. Wish it was a zoom lesson so I could ask questions in real time!
-
Tport89Many thanksMatt, thanks for all the technical info. As a Homeowner that will serve as a GC on our upcoming small cabin build in northern Michigan, I appreciate all the insider info I can get.
-
Jason BoozeTop NotchJust found this podcast recently. I work in the general construction trade (20+ years). This has opened me up to concepts and products that strive for best practice status that I haven’t heard of before. It seems like everyone involved (including guests) deeply care about what they do and offer. That deeply resonates with me. I really appreciate what you guys are doing on Build and I hope it keeps going and growing!
-
Frankyy831Great podcastAmazing podcast lots of knowledge for anyone in the trades at every level thank you for time and knowledge to the whole team
-
SpemerickMoldings and TrimThis episode was very off putting. Expressing derision for and making fun of hollow core doors or other common interior architectural features is insulting to the vast majority of homeowners who go can’t afford high-end multipart solid wood base, crown and casing and custom milled solid core doors throughout. I’ve deleted the channel.
-
QwertyyuiopasdfghjklzxcvbnCan’t get enough!Amazing resource. Thank you to Matt and the whole Build Show team for all of this content. This podcast and the videos on Build Show Network have been instrumental in my education as a builder. @brooksrogersbuilds on Instagram

CORD & HPPFBuilder/RemodelerThe Build Show is THE best way to stay on top of the latest in Building Science and Building Ethics! As a high end custom remodeling contractor for the past 8 years, who lives and works in one of the most demanding markets in America (Bend, OR), I have had a first hand view of how poorly homes have been built, and sadly, are still built. It can and should be done better. I started my own company to have an opportunity to do things better, and change the way people perceive contractors. And now I’m starting a custom building company as well. Thanks to Matt, and Company, I have changed the way I approach every job, every situation, and every client. The Build Show Podcast/Network is a must listen for anyone in the trades and anyone who owns a home.
-
Scottyw08Awesome Building Science PodcastThe Build Show is a must-listen podcast for any homeowner looking to deepen their understanding of building science and construction. As a non-contractor who is passionate about learning the ins and outs of the building process, this podcast is a treasure trove of valuable insights and knowledge.
-
RobcavinessShows got the wrong titleI don’t how much someone can talk about “sealing” a house. I think it maybe even a case of obsession or OCD. I don’t think anyone wants to hear people talk about “penetrations” or air leaks around electrical outlets this much. Hmmm or maybe these guys are in the business of selling air handlers and dehumidifiers to keep their air tight houses from having explosions of mold blooms. And I’m the dumb one for not seeing their marketing strategy….
-
Bliss and GritWonderful educationI’m not a contractor or professional, I’m a homeowner who had mold exposure and is looking to create a healthy home. Some things may go over my head, but I’m so appreciative of this free education on what I should be looking for. Hiring consultants adds up. The Build Show helps me understand the basics. Thank you for your work!

btruppelMatt delivers with the knowledgeI started following Matt about 6 years ago on his Youtube channel, and it quickly became one of my favorite channels. This podcast “builds” on that platform and demonstrates his passion as a builder to educate people on how we should be building. We need more builders like Matt to educate the public into understanding that a quality build starts at the foundation and is more than just expensive granite and fancy lighting. Thank you Matt for all that you do for the industry.
