The best podcast!

I’ve had more drive time in my schedule recently and I’ve been listening to more YWAH. As a disclaimer, I am a good friend of the makers of this show. But, they are so good!! I listen not only because I’m a music fan, but I feel like I’m in the conversation with the hosts. It feels like old friends having beers and talking about music in the hallowed halls of an old pub, or a dilapidated bar after a great night out. I love the details, I love the backstories, and it feels like a natural extension of both Mike and Ted’s brains, hearts, and talents. It is really special.

Straight Bangerz

I found this podcast when my friend Alex was a guest on it recently and I’ve never been more excited to discover a podcast, it’s my dream theme. I love the commentary and the deep dives on the artists themselves. Hilarious, often heartwarming, and definitely makes you watch a lot of really ridiculous old music videos. Being around the same age as the hosts makes for a lot of great nostalgic references. I’m wracking my brain now for suggestions!

If you’re reading this you probably already listen to several podcasts. It might even be a big deal to subscribe to a new one. I get it. There are only so many listening hours in a day. But you should make time for this one. Each ep is a deep dive into one of pop history’s more idiosyncratic BANGERS. The hosts have great chemistry. They put their work in for each song they cover. Entertaining pop culture commentary and great storytelling

This podcast is a great take on the question “What were we thinking?” The first episode was a great introduction to the podcast, and I’m excited to see how Michael and Ted develop the idea. So far, the storytelling has been fantastic. They did a great job of having an entertaining conversation while telling the story of how a song made it to the top of the charts. I’d definitely recommend if you’re a fan of pop culture in general.
