Too many “you know” when speaking
Very good podcast but Mayim says “you know” so often that it is distracting.

    Too Long
Love the podcast. Love the information. But the episodes are too long. If it’s going to be over 2 hours think about breaking the episodes up.

I find the show really valuable, but the music is going to actually cause me to have a breakdown.

    Review and suggestion
I enjoy the thoughtful, research driven, and timely content on the podcast. You also thread the needle by making it playful and light at times due to the perfect combination of Mayim and Jonathan. I have a topic suggestion. I would like to have a show centered around addiction. To hear about Nuerons, synapses, dopamine levels and hemispheres of brain affected. Then have that meshed to not just substance addiction but also phone and internet addiction by teenagers - how it affects young minds vs old minds.

A little less negativity toward men- please
Mayim, I have watched you since Blossom. You emotionally and intellectually line up with my views. But you gotta stop with the under the table negative comments about men. Yes, you are correct about many ways men are frustrating. But….sometimes I feel you are throwing them all under the bus. Case in point- Jonathan is a good man and he has important questions. (most of the guest on the podcast are too) You often put your questions to the guest first, then Jonathan talks next. You have two boys who I can tell you love very much. If they listen to the podcast I hope the the negativity regarding men doesn’t affect them.

    Love the show, however…
I love the show, always been a big fan of hers, and I appreciate the constant selection of diverse topics and guests. But the number of ads is just overwhelming for me as a listener. I skip them, so it’s not the end of the world, but it keeps me from leaving a five star review instead of a three. I know sponsors are important, and I get it, but it’s still a lot.

I started listening a few months ago and have enjoyed every episode since! (Been catching up on past ones everyday) I’ve been struggling with 10+ years with an eating disorder or disordered eating and this show has helped me through so many challenges these past few months. Great information, cut guests too much
I really enjoy the information and guests, but the host cuts them all the time, very impatient and border to being impolite.

    Thank you
I’ve been listening to your podcast for a couple months now. Currently I am working through your old podcasts and was absolutely fascinated by the episode you had with Steve Hassan. I was so interested in what he had to say I listened to a bit of his podcast as well. Specifically one he did with Steve Daily on the prophet of the SDA church. I grew up in the SDA church and left in my twenties always feeling something was wrong. I never looked more into it after leaving. The interview he did with Daily was eye opening and answered a lot of questions. Thank you for having such an intriguing and insightful podcast. Also for leading me unanswered questions about the church I grew up in. Thank you for all you do; I look forward to every episode.

    Disappointing.
Please be so careful about perpetuating the stereotype that c-sections are the easy way out. I had an emergency c-section with my first and will have a scheduled one with my second. It was certainly not for the convenience factor of being able to schedule it on a calendar. C-Sections are HARD, please don’t encourage the portion of the population who believe I took a shortcut.

    Love this
This episode was great. I would love to see Dr. Jon Connelly, the founder of rapid resolution therapy, on your podcast. He phenomenal at clearing trauma like sexual abuse in ONE session. It is fascinating to watch. The conversation between Myaim, Jonathan and Dr Connelly would be wonderful to hear!

    Smart, deep, yet lacking maturity
I found Mayik through her interview with Jewel, which I really enjoyed. Mayik is really smart and asks great questions generally. I find it very difficult however to stay engaged because of the excessive “ya know…” and “sort of…”. Sometimes multiple times in one sentence. These fillers make it so hard for me to listen. It makes her sound immature or insecure. I’d love to listen more because I really appreciate the vulnerable conversations she is creating!

    Disappointed first listen
I found Breakdown from Mayim’s Guest episode on another podcast and I was excited to listen to her podcast for the first time. halfway through the Holly Madison interview, I could not believe how uncomfortable Mayim sounded not to mention her juvenile tone asking Holly questions. Especially someone that seems inclusive of all women from all backgrounds, all I could hear was an insecure little girl asking the questions. Mayim’s partner was a much needed relief who seemed more professional, and non-judgmental in the few questions he was able to ask. Holly‘s journey was her journey and I’m sure has been scrutinized for decades from judgmental women and the interview space just didn’t seem very supportive.

    My go to Podcast!!!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Mayim Bialik and when I heard she had a podcast I subscribed immediately! A year an a half later this podcast continues to enrich my life. The latest episode on Ozempic was heaven sent because I am about to start Zepbound for weigh loss. I’ve listened to it twice now and the information was amazing. I’m going on the drug for sure, but I do it with a lot more information thanks to this podcast. Many other shows have been spot on in my life. I love Mayim and Jonathan so much. They make a wonderful team and I want to thank them for how they have helped me through the years!!

    OMG
Such a great episode. This was such good information. I have been married for 38 yrs to a narcissist type person. I spent way too many years walking on eggshells and teaching my kids to do the same. Now all my kids have been through some form of therapy. My youngest is in a bad state of mind right now and I’m very worried about her. For myself I never win and receive blame for everything. There have been good times. Not sure where to move on but I don’t feel good about leaving but I have found ways to cope. Right now, my focus is on my youngest who is an adult but just needs love, therapy and support. Thank you for such a great show. So informative.

    Inspiration everytime
I’ve been listening to this podcast since it started. It is my therapy, entertainment, and enhances internal dialogue. I love everything about this podcast. The one thing I wish they did was interview “regular” people to help relate the ideas to real situations. I happen to be available for an interview when you’re ready :) Keep creating amazing content!

    Great spiritual journey podcast
This podcast is great for everyone, but especially for anyone who is interested in continuing on a path of self betterment. The guests are insightful and informative, and Jonathan and Mayim have a great partnership that is always engaging to hear. I’m a huge Mayim bialeck fan, and really enjoy the full scope of content this podcast provides. Thank you both for the work you are doing and for the lessons I’ve learned because of this podcast. 💕☺️

I love your episodes where you dive into the woo woo stuff and break it down. The convo with Michaela was really good, and Miyam and Jonathan ask great questions. I think I am a green aura!

    Strange world
So today, I began my strange world enjoyment… I listen to your most recent episode first and I kept wondering when Elizabeth was going to speak… Cut to realizing this was a outro episode to the original so I listened to the first one second one and the first one they came back and listening to the second one again and I have more context… But both times when you were described, arriving the mushrooms and their interconnected world below it made me think of you from Disney, “strange world “ thank you for giving me paw and enjoy these two episodes. BTW, have you seen the movie? And I have often wondered… Are we just living in someone’s petri dish as a human race for somebody else’s experiment? sorry, I got a bit chatty

    Quiet On The Set
To piggyback off the latest episode. I suggest everyone to go listen to Pod Meets World and listen to the episode titled “02/19/2024”. It give little more outlook on two actors that were manipulated by the predator.

    Love, love, love this podcast!
I just listened to another truly interesting interview this afternoon and learned so much! She asks intelligent questions and shares about herself at times but never takes over the conversation! Jonathan is equally intelligent and is a great interviewer as well. Both are funny and make the podcast an enjoyable yet informative listen! Highly recommend!

    Zionist and imposter
This is an example of where the wellness industry is total bullsh*t. This woman has no actual humanity or empathy. This podcast exists is so she can remain relevant and I’m disappointed at the guests for agreeing to do her show, even though most of them aren’t that interesting. If you had a heart and brain Mayim, you would recognize the history of Zionism is inherently violent and racist, and the occupation and death of tens of thousands of children is NOT ACCEPTABLE in any religion including Judaism as some kind of revenge for one specific terror attack. Israeli lives are not inherently MORE valuable than Palestinian lives and you should be ashamed of your beliefs and trying to promote yourself on this LOUSY Podcast. Not worth listening to.

I take a dose of Mayim with my morning coffee
Mayim Bialik feels like a familiar slice of kooky, and I can’t get enough. She is thoughtful, whip smart, and fun. In the muck of the news and media this podcast has been a breath of clarity and warmth. I’ve swapped my morning doom scrolls for Mayim and will never ever look back.

    Too Bad
Such great guests, but Mayim always interrupts to share and reshare information from her own life that we already know. She could actually interview her guests and in that case I would probably listen despite her problematic opinions. Unfortunately by listening you have to step into her entitled and eccentric world view which assumes she is cute as a button 100% of the time and endlessly interesting. It’s just basic immaturity and there’s no way she’s a trained scientist.
  • Emm riri
    Great 😊 😌
The way they just say how they want to show and explain their own feelings and life. And that makes a good 👍🏽 podcast.
