Wow wow wow. So I’ve been listening for a while but ohmygawd when I heard the Return To Oz pod I just had so many laughs like I was a part of the conversation. This pod is so fun to listen to and it really helps trigger things in your childhood you may have temporarily misplaced in your brain. Love it. Thank you for the laughs and the memories coming to the surface!

The idea for the show is excellent but this is unlistenable. Even the audio needs cleanes up; sounds like the one is in her bathroom recording.

I found this podcast from their episode on the cult classic film “Heathers” and fell in love with this podcast ever since then. Every episode is very entertaining and a fun listen! I am actually from Gen-Z, and I still have a fun time listening to this podcast! I highly recommend it, even if you aren’t from Gen-X! :)

As a guy, I listen to a lot of male-dominated retro podcasts. It is nice to get a bit of a palate cleansing and hear about Gen-X life from the female perspective. A really fun listen!

I LOVE this podcast! Cate and Lori are not only funny but bring fun facts I never knew to our GenX poo culture. One of the best X podcasts out there-I should know, I have one too 😉

Love every episode with Cate & Lori breaking down the pop culture of my youth in a way I never thought of before! So fun!!

These 2 gals are my new fav. They make me laugh and remember all my glorious childhood memories.

Full disclosure - my sister is one of the podcasters, so I am obviously biased. Nonetheless, Cate and Lori have an easy way with one another honed over years of friendship, but are more than willing to re-examine their, and in the largest sense, our collective childhood and the stories, media, movies, and music we grew up with. Their thoughts can range from silly to erudite, but they’re not afraid to look at who we are as a generation, warts and all, growing up in what we may envision nostalgically as a better, but no less confusing and complex time in our lives and our world. Highly recommended.

So happy to have found this podcast, but even more so to feel like I’m now friends with these two lifelong besties! Lori and Cate lead you back to TV, movie, and music moments and memories you forgot you needed back in your life, and they do it with thoughtful commentary, fun facts, and lots and lots of laughs! Their decades of chemistry is contagious, as is their obvious love of everything they are talking about. It’s so much fun!

I am so happy that these ladies started such a fun podcast during this dumpster fire of a year. This is the fluffy podcast that all of us Gen Xers need right now. They take the iconic pop culture moments of the 80s, do some reminiscing, but also take a look through a modern lens at the memories made when they were kids. A definite subscribe!

A very good retrospective on 80’s mega star Madonna. Lori & Cate delve deep into how Madonna stardom rose to great heights & help shape their young minds. Their banter was funny, fast, & insightful.
