I learned about Overly Sarcastic Productions through the Newest Olympian when Red came on to talk about mythology and I have never been the same. I’m a teenage girl who has the same interests as Red, i.e. mythology, classical literature, folklore, etc., and watching the channel made me feel so much better about myself. I had discovered people who loved the same things as me-things that are generally perceived to only be of interest to dusty old English professors who smoke pipes and use Latin phrases in every other sentence-and communicated with them in the same way as me while still being intelligent. Finding someone who references memes and has a Tumblr while also discoursing on Cthonic deities was a life-changing event. Thanks, Red, for teaching me to love what I love and always be myself. Blue, my dad majored in cartography and your maps that you drew BY HAND put the fear of God in me. Jesus christ how. P.S. do either of you have ADD/ADHD?

Just started listening and I already love it. Just what you guys do, perfect.

Wow! I started watching the myths and trope talks, but then I saw the podcast shorts. I booted up this app, and I love it. Just listening to people talk really helps me focus, and I love the topics. It also inadvertently introduced me to the comic and rolling with difficulty.

I’m not typically prone to paradocial relationship mentality, but you guys are my friends. You have to deal with that now. I’ll be Emerald. 😂🤣

I am unsure of what is it about these people that makes me so happy to listen to…I think I have slowly been realizing that my favorite content is just nerds doing or talking about something they love. This pod is very much that, and it brings me a solid hour of fun every other week.

Getting to listen to them talk about their processes and things they couldn’t put in their episodes is great, but it’s even more fun just listening to them answer questions and go and extremely long tangents! It’s kind of difficult to meet people with Covid as a uni student, so just knowing every other Wednesday I can just vibe to these guys for the next 75 minutes really helps. 100% recommend it if you like the channel and want to hear extremely long tangents on almost anything!

Love this podcast! Red and Blue are in perfect form, as funny and informative as they are on the YouTube channel. Highlights include hearing more about Cleo the cat, long and rambling tangents of the kind that get cut from polished videos, and the ongoing saga of the OSP Time Heist movie. A wonderful complement to the channel (and it’s nice to have OSP content I can consume at work, since podcasts are more acceptable in the office than YouTube videos).

Since my dad and me were both raised in England I never really knew anything about Persia besides my last name meaning king (and being the origin for the word chess). I wanted to thank you for covering Johny Snakesholders since I never hear about Persian mythology. It felt really cool to have my ancestors culture talked about!

First off thank you for giving me the words to express what I am, asexual demiromantic. I had never heard that phrase until it was in one of your videos. Also I think I know why the H. P. Lovecraft has so many views. Every time I’ve just let OSP videos auto play no matter where I start eventually it plays your H. P. Lovecraft video. It occasionally happens when I start on a different channel. I think the algorithm just likes that one. Oh, and I love the podcast!

I’m not into podcasts or at least I wasn’t until y'all made the announcement video saying you were making a podcast. I listened to the first episode and it was awesome. It was just like your videos but with a bit more humor and no animations. The episodes are great when you are in the car or just want a little whiff of some great history and humor.

The green squad must become the viridian villains :D

Honestly, this thing is total chaos and I am L I V I N G for it!! OSP time heist is fun to listen to, and it’s just very fun to listen to in general.

This podcast is great! It feels like a higher quality, not saying better, version of the streams. Much easier to access!
