bajemaI really enjoy this podcastChrista is a great teacher and her love for perds is contagious. In addition to the podcast, she provides additional resources to help newer birders build confidence, particularly around bird identification. I would definitely recommend this podcast to someone who is getting started with birding.

0102 jtlLove itI’ve been getting into birding - like a lot of COVID shut-ins- for the last year or so. I’ve really only done any bird watching around my house. I’ve loved it but have felt oddly anxious about venturing further afield. This podcast is so clear and concise and useful that I finally feel like I have enough tools to try birding for real. I checked out a few other podcasts but found them to be not be relatable... some have podcasters who are clearly more interested in sounding like uber-subject matter experts than in education or entertainment. This is not that. It’s fun and practical and covers all sorts of interesting topics.

DdgarciaPerfect for beginners and beyond!Just found Christa’s page and podcast. And as a beginning birder it could have come at a better time! Christa is SO down to earth and clear in her explanations. And her page and podcasts are EXTREMELY organized - notes, links, subject markers, etc. incredibly thorough. Looking forward to this birding journey with my new favorite podcast and site!
