Podcasts for police are quickly becoming the best place we can turn for not only training , but motivation, real topics about things we deal with on a daily basis, the dark humor we are all used to and thrive off of and most importantly , some freaking support. These are real people real cops keeping it REAL and saying what we are all thinking. This is definitely high on the list as one of the better podcasts (I have a long list of many ). And most of their creators know each other. Doing great work and are reaching more of us than you realize. I love how more and more cops are speaking out . They can’t silence us anymore !

What an intro to season 2. I laughed, I got called out, but I enjoyed it. Life can be crazy at times and Mental health is no joke. This episode brings insight to so much. Play it, listen, and do what it says; could change your life.

By far the greatest LEO podcast that isn’t from StreetCops but additionally works with Street Cops on like 75% of its episodes. lol

Ten eight is doing a great job asking a lot of hard questions and making those in our profession recognize their strengths, weaknesses and beyond. It’s great to see such a hard focus on mental health and leadership and training.

I love this podcast. It’s a great combination of humor and thoughtful insight into topics like leadership, mental health, and education. I especially love the shenanigans of the Jersey Boys and Drunk Cops. If you listen to one episode though, let it be “Leadership Academy.” It translates beyond the law enforcement and is something everyone from admin to entry level workers in every profession should hear. ❤️

I really enjoy the insight here. I know there's a lot of content out there for this genre, but I find the guests here the most interesting and the perspective is more relatable.

Fantastic podcast for everyone let alone first responders. I am a Law/Fire/EMS dispatcher and 911 call taker. The points of view are spot on and are very relevant to all first responders. The humor, the seriousness, and talking points are spot on. Thank you for making this such a great podcast!

Easily the best law enforcement podcast on the scene. Spoken without grudges, Officer Y brings street cop level humor and great interviewing skills to the podcast. He makes it easily relatable for cops and regular citizens and provides inside to things like dispatch and first responder mental health no available elsewhere.

Officer Y is an asset to the law enforcement and first responder community, offering insight, comedic relief, stories, and entertainment. Every episode is a new adventure and allows for a mental break from reality for a bit. The variety of topics, guests, music, and conversation provides something for everyone. Worth every second! Go start with episode 1 and binge it!!

I’ve listened to many LEO related podcasts and this is easily the best. This podcast is able to laugh at LEOs as well as the public simultaneously, which is a tightrope style balancing act. The hosts never come across as arrogant and are extremely relatable. Tell your beat partner to shut his trap for a minute and let this show entertain you.

This podcast rocks. Epic music choices, great interviews, and all around good content. Charlie is doing amazing things here and I know it’s just going to continue to get better and better!

Listen, this podcast isn’t going to be for everyone. But not only does it share necessary information based around law enforcement with equal parts of entertainment, perfect thing to listen to on a long drive, or on your way to a dead end job. If you want to grow a beard, add 25lbs to your squat and bench and gain the ability to retrieve Excalibur, the sword in the stone, I recommend this podcast. Warning any long-lasting effects that come from this podcast our expected as it is similar to heavenly honey on the ears, any “effects,” lasting longer than 4+ hours should seek immediate medical attention.

Officer why is not only a meme king, but a surprisingly good podcaster. Interacts with listeners via replying to voicemails, and always includes a handful of bangers sprinkled throughout each episode. Great guests, pro-LEO content, good music, and listener interaction. Couldn’t ask for more! Keep it up 10-8!

This is a quality podcast directed toward those person actually involved in law enforcement bad well as those with an and interested in the field. From what we’ve learned to far, “Ofc. Y,” is a New Jersey transplant, living, policing, and podcasting, somewhere in the tropical American penal colony, we call Florida. In only the first few weeks he’s interviewed a widely respected leader in modern proactive policing as well as a copper who practices and shares with the others the ancient Greek philosophy of stoicism. As it stands today, The Ten Eight Podcast is a question and answer style, interview podcast, but the fourth installment may have foreshadowed something a little different.
