RDVSLPSo refreshing & grounded in TRUTHI really enjoy your conversations. The episode about friendship especially touched my heart. Thank you for sharing a part of yourselves with us through this podcast! As a busy homeschooling mama, I can appreciate the sacrifice of time and effort to minister to the hearts of other Christian moms. God bless you both!

hmarie0501Sound Biblical Truth for the HomeI have been following Home Fires since the beginning and I absolutely love the sound biblical truth they discuss in each episode. Abigail, I’m so thankful you kept this last season going with Jenni! Your podcast is my favorite go-to and I always find Christ-Bible-centered encouragement!

Laura StueveTo God be the gloryIn the midst of countless podcasts and lots of voices, this podcast is a bright light. I have enjoyed it immensely! Abigail and Tilly, your voices are so needed. Your wisdom is a lighthouse. Thank you!
-
SarieOJaneHappy, faithful listener. So glad to find this podcast after reading Abigail’s book, “(A)typical Woman”. Love the honest, focused conversations that Tilley & Abigail let us into as well as the range of biblically-minded guests that listeners get exposed to. Trying to muster up the courage to read through Tilley’s “Seeing Green” this year. :) Thankful for the (unexpected) second season! Keep the episodes coming, ladies!
-
Becky CrowellBeautiful!Your voices are so needed. Thank you for this ministry! Tilly and Abigail are a great team.
-
EmmlaneYes!I am so encouraged that there is a women's podcast about the unique call and gifting of the female role and responsibilities in the home. Abigail and Tilly do an incredible job at provoking thought in both love and humility. I truly do hope there are many seasons to come. Update for the new season: Still 5 stars, of course! Every episode leaves me feeling exhorted, encouraged and excited to continue on in my work. PS: the recent Christmas episode, talking about fashion trends: YES. Thank you! Feel like I found my people 😜

Brooke CedarsRich biblical insightListening to Tilly and Abigail, it feels like I am having a conversation with a dear sister in Christ. Their insights into Scripture are refreshing for the soul. I thank God for an opportunity to be discipled by these women from afar.

-
rach.richmanGreat podcastI enjoy listening to two sisters in the faith discussing real life topics. A note to whomever is editing... the song that plays throughout the podcast is much louder than the voices of the ladies, and is startling.
-
carolstevickWonderful Podcast!I just found this podcast through a friend and am so delighted to get to listen to these thoughtful women share their wisdom. I appreciate so much their commitment to God’s word and willingness to dive into His loving truth. I especially appreciate the chats about complementarianism as it’s such an important topic and there is so much confusion within the church about it. I wish all my Christian friends would listen to this podcast and be encouraged! Thanks ladies!
-
Deb DumGreat findI love hearing these two mama’s hearts for their home. I especially enjoyed the Rosaria Butterfield episode but all have been great!
-
KassyandraHGreat words of wisdom!I love this podcast for its scriptural wisdom but some episodes have a low loud hum that play through making it really hard to listen to.
-
abcsarahmnInterestingI am enjoying this podcast but I also wish they would get rid of the song between sections. I like to listen to the podcast while resting in bed and the music is so startling!
-

Lindsay BlueEncouraged me!These two women have a clear vision of God’s particular design for women within the home. Their conversation made me excited to be a woman following Jesus. I’m looking forward to more of their thoughtful discussion.

MrsSally57MEnjoyed the InsightThis was very insightful and well done! There were lot of things brought up that I had not ever thought of - such as a child coming to the Mom looking for nourishment because she had been the provider of such since before birth and how Christ is our nourisher and has done the same for us. The great connection of bread and the Bread of Life. Many good points brought out about women and our differences from men and that it is good to have those differences - was so great to hear. So tired of hearing women being ‘offended’ because we are not the same as, equal to, or above men. You both gave great encouragement to women that our God given role is important, often demanding, hard, requires intelligence, wisdom and strength. However there is great reward in embracing our role as women and as such we are to humble ourselves and be encouraged to move forward with every task the Lord puts in our path. We often tend to forget that our worth is not in obtaining what we ‘dream of’ or what others have - it is in Christ alone. Thank you for this podcast, looking forward to hearing more! Sally M

dg02Thought provoking and Christ glorifyingIt took me so long to make peace with my role as woman in the home. These two women labor to show there is glory to be found in our God-given roles. What a helpful worldview for finding joy and ambition in building our homefires! Relevant and beautiful!
-
SamanthaFTurnerLooking forward to this season!I’ve been a fan of Abigail Dodd’s’ work for a while, and I’m so excited to hear more from her and Tilly! Smart, godly women seeking to encourage other women in gospel ministry through their homes and lives.
