Devin has had a great variety of guests. When I listen to the show I feel as if I’m sitting in his back yard eating steaks and cookies while enjoying a conversation with friends. Awesome podcast. I am not in the dirt business at all. I came from 3 degrees from The Heavy Checklist. The Podcast teaches so much on business tip and tricks. I find myself looking forward each week to listen and learn about dirt. Oh and I hope I am not to late for the free hat :)

I’m just here for a dirt gear hat 😎 Honestly though, this podcast has had a huge impact on my life. Not only do I look forward to listening to the podcast on my long commutes to out of town job sites every week, but this podcast has been one of very few inspirations for my brother and I to finally leave high paying positions in the utility industry to start our own excavation business. I pray that God continues to bless you and your family and I aspire to someday be an inspiration to others just as you have been to us.

If you are a decent human at all you will enjoy this podcast. They talk about family businesses, life mishaps with the ups and downs, starting up on your own and just being a good human. I have listened to everyone so far and the diverse people that Devin has is awesome. There is not one that I haven’t learned something on. If you don’t like the podcast then read my top line.

I have to say I love this podcast for so many reasons. Devin is awesome, great questions and a little bit of sarcasm (that’s how you he is in construction). Love hearing the stories of triumphs and struggles from fellow excavators. The podcast is like listening to friends having a conversation at the coffee table in the morning. Great guests include amazing business owners, operators, insurance agent, people that help explain the technology that is out there, along with an attorney. Each week I am excited for this podcast. Keep up the great work.

Not exactly in the typical construction industry, but very informative and good listen. Some episodes have poor sounds quality, but not a huge issue.

Listening to how similar the industry around the country is, is really incredible, but with that being said the unique perspective that I get to hear from different industries is priceless!

This is a cool podcast. I’m new to podcasts and I have been driving an unusual amount visiting my mom who was struggling with cancer. Great show my man. I didn’t know if I could get into the dirt work/ construction part of it but it’s great to hear the similarities in running our roll off company (big trucks=big bills). Also gave me the push to bid and complete more demolition jobs that I had been passing on. Keep it up buddy!

If you’re in the business of moving dirt, I think you will enjoy this podcast. As a fellow excavating contractor it was informative and fun to hear Devin and Ryan describe their businesses and how they have built them up. I like to hear different perspectives on methods and equipment and they shared that too! Looking forward to the next one!
